I purchased a V2 pen. It arrived quickly but I kept having trouble getting it to write. Customer Service helped me with some things to try to fix it, but they didn't work. I was expecting a new nib, but the sent me a whole new pen! The new one writes beautifully out of the box. I highly recommend these pens, not just for their beautiful construction and smooth writing but also for the team that stands behind the work.

Worst pens in the world.

I have THREE pens. They have sent me a new one when the one I received didn't work
None of them work. I have just received the new "upgraded" version after waiting months and impossible to get the ink to flow. Scratchy and stops working after a few lines.
Bad luck? I don't think so, I think they lack a good quality control.

Simplpens shipped pen, and sent confusing and contradictory shipping info. It missed the delivery date and the birthday it was intended for.

Simplpens apologised, they had ‘technical difficulties’ but expected me to keep the pen, I repeated my request to return it for a refund but they persevered, requesting I try it out as they felt I’d love it!

Here’s my feedback for the Ventura pen - it’s not worth £30.

IMO They blew their budget on ‘high end’ marketing and should have saved some money for the pens build and quality.

The aluminium feels thin and likely to ‘dint’. The ink converter is lowest quality. The screw thread on the barrel is a little offline and this mean the pen isn’t perfectly straight. I found an Australian review on you tube that said exactly the same, suggesting their quality control is absent.
The packaging is cheap. The logo in white in the centre makes the pen look cheap.

So I’m returning the pen, and Simplpens are making me pay insured tracked international post to the US, so I’m $10
out of pocket for a pen, I really don’t want and arrived too late because of their admitted technical issues.

I ordered two Ventura pen. One medium nib and one fine nib. Right out of the box they looked gorgeous. The medium I filled up with ink directly then wrote and drew with it. It was sublime. The fine nib I had noticed was out of alignment from the feed on the underside. The wonderful support staff helped me get this sorted out in no time and now I have both pens working amazingly. Love, love, love these pens. Will definitely be getting some more. Next I'll try the Ventura II with clip. Thanks to the wonderful quality and support I am incredibly satisfied.

I just got this pen today. WOW! What a pen. Beautiful ink flow. I am looking forward to using it everyday.

I placed an order before Christmas as a gift, however, when it still hadn't arrived after 2 months I initiated a ticket with their customer support. After some runaround about the location of my order I was told that it was lost by the carrier and there was nothing they could do. Further, they could not provide a replacement for the products that were ordered due to stock shortage, and expected me to be satisfied paying for a different colourway.
They did offer to include another pen (still not anything that matched my original order), but in the end a refund was issued because I was not satisfied with the resolution. Disappointing outcome as I was very interested in receiving this product for myself and the intended gift recipient.

I bought these 2 for one, and one worked awesome, but the other had a problem. I contacted customer service. They were great. They gave me a few things to try. Unfortunately it didn’t work. So they sent me a replacement at no charge. It arrived fast, and works assassins to. Thank you. I highly recommend these pens.

A co worker recommended the pen. I immediately noticed the difference between every other pen I’ve used. It has a good feel, and a consistent, smooth delivery of ink.

Ink capsule fitted easily and flowed immediately - lovely smooth flow when writing / very impressive

I didn't expect something so lovely for such a reasonable price! Ordered two, and will be back for the grey/black one when back in stock. Makes writing pleasure. Maybe I'll get that novel written after all! Haha!!

Lovely pens. Well packaged with good instructions. I like the fact it works with cartridges and ink. Love the purple ink! Very comfortable and good looking pen.

To begin with, the pen I bought is very nice, but the company also has a very good support, quick anwers, etc.

Great colour choices, the pens are light and write so smoothly. I have one at home and one in the office, which is where everyone comments on the pen. Love how individual it looks, will be back for more.

Very fast shipping, even in Maine. These pens write way nicer than I was expecting and now I plan on getting more for gifts.
