I purchased SKIN1004's Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum because of its ingredient profile and reputation for using lower-risk ingredients. I had previously used this product and was very happy with it.

Unfortunately, I recently discovered that the formula appears to have been significantly changed. The previous version I purchased received a "Good" rating in the Yuka app (65/100), while the current version I received scored 0/100 due to the addition of ingredients such as octocrylene and homosalate that I personally choose to avoid.

What disappoints me most is not simply that the formula changed, but that there was no clear communication that customers would be receiving a substantially different product than the one many of us originally purchased and trusted.

Because the ingredient profile was the primary reason I bought this sunscreen, I have requested a refund for Order #215345 (received May 23). I am currently waiting to hear back from customer service.

If you are purchasing this sunscreen based on reviews of the previous formulation, I strongly recommend checking the current ingredient list before ordering.

I hope SKIN1004 will be more transparent about significant formula changes in the future and consider offering a version closer to the original product.

I writing this review based on the centella ampoule product as I bought mine in a boots store so I don’t have any experience with ordering from the company personally so just keep that in mind. I started using the centella ampoule (the one in the orange bottle) around March of this year as I wanted to repair my extremely damaged skin barrier which lead me to extreme redness, acne and dry skin. This product is a game changer for anyone with a damaged skin barrier, my redness has calmed down but is now my main issue, my active acne is almost gone still a few minor breakouts and my skin texture hasn’t been this smooth and soft in I don’t know how long. I genuinely put the improvement in my skin down to this product. It’s doesn’t have any active ingredients to fight acne but as I mentioned my acne was caused by a damaged skin barrier so do keep that in mind if you struggle with acne. I use it after washing my face with the green and white cerave cleanser (or just water if it’s the morning or if Ihavent worn makeup) and then apply the cerave moisturiser. If you’re looking for a product to help repair skin barrier you need to bite the bullet and at the absolute least get a tester if you can. As I said I use this product along side other products so u will have to use on clean skin for results but ahhh I just love this serum!!!! In regards to the texture of the serum it honestly just feels like water, it absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel heavy so if that’s any help at all.

Le site amadoue avec des offres jusqu'à -50% mais ne prévient pas explicitement des frais supplémentaires de +30€ à payer (TVA + Taxe Petit Colis + Dédouanement de 20€) - 3/4 du prix d'un Set de 4 produits en réduction - et le cas échéant ne rembourse rien même si les produits sont retournés (la belle affaire) sachant qu'il y a un délai de 18 jours avec DHL pour le paiement. Voir la page Shipping Policy sur le site, ce que beaucoup ne liront pas avant de passer une première commande réduite à une mauvaise surprise coûteuse et risquée. Bref, merci la marque et les "influenceuses" pour le traquenard, mais je ne recommanderai plus sur ce site.

Arnaque, A FUIR commande jamais recu, quand je les ai contacté pour demander ou est lon colis que j'attends depuis presque deux mois il m'ont dit que la commande va être retournée car je ne l'ai récupéré alors que je n'ai reçu aucune notification confirmant l'arrivée de mon colis. Quand jai demandé un remboursement ils mont dit de voir ca avec ups qui en voulais pas bien sur me rembourser 70$ perdu a cause de cette arnaque

I had a terrible experience buying directly from the SKIN1004 official website.

My order was supposed to arrive in **5–10 days**, and it has now been **almost THREE MONTHS** with no delivery. The package has been stuck because **they did not pay the import taxes**, even though I already paid **$91 USD** directly on their website.

Customer service is honestly ridiculous. They give **vague, generic, and evasive responses**, clearly trying to avoid responsibility. Most of the time they **don’t reply at all**, and when they do, they provide no real information or solution.

This is extremely unprofessional for a brand that claims to be international and reliable. I would **absolutely NOT recommend** purchasing through their official website.

If you want their products, buy them through **Amazon or Mercado Libre**, where there is real customer protection. Ordering directly from SKIN1004 has been a complete waste of time and money.

Hice un pedido de unos 80€ en la página web el día 27 de noviembre de 2025, a pesar de un mes sin saber nada en enero correos me envió un burofax para comunicarme que estaba parado en paraduanas, por lo que me piden 77€ lo cual ya de por sí es una locura, a día de hoy mi paquete sale aún en revisión en aduanas, la empresa no contesta mails y según su política no se hacen cargo de nada cuando sale del país de origen, muy poco profesional por parte de una marca que promete tanto, no sé si me llegarán o no los productos pero sé que no recomiendo la experiencia de tardar tanto.

Prix super compétitifs avec des offres, des lots et tout mais attention aux frais de douanes qui, au final, font que vos produits vous coûtent plus chers qu’en commandant en France!
À la 1ere commande, Avril 2025, pas de frais de douanes puis une 2ème en décembre pour un total de 57€ et 35€ de frais de douane!
Il n’est stipulé nul part sur leur que vous aurez des frais de douane à payer!
Attention, on ne vous livre pas votre colis ni vous rembourse en cas de non paiement des frais!

leur explication : DHL, entreprise de livraison qu'ils ont choisi m'a envoyé un mail avec une demande de paiement des taxes de douane.
je n'ai pas payé assez rapidement!
je n'avais que 48h et je n'avais pas lu mes mails personnels durant cette période... soit disant les produits sont repartis ET SKIN1004 M'A ECRIT QUE C'ETAIT LEUR POLITIQUE. DONC ILS M'ONT DIT QUE JE N'AVAIS QU'A REPASSER UNE COMMANDE!

certainement pas! cette entreprise a bien organisé un système de vol! j'imagine les milliers de clients qui se font arnaquer tout comme je l'ai été!

J'ai passé une commande mi décembre 2025, je n'ai jamais reçu les produits et ne suis pas non plus remboursé! le SAV est injoignable! un numéro de téléphone en Corée qui ne répond jamais.

et une adresse mail qui m'a répondu par 2 mails automatiques m'indiquant que je ne serai pas remboursé et qu'ils ne renverraient pas mes achats non plus car c'était leur politique

Ho acquistato su skin1004.com il 10/12/2025, viste le recensioni pessime ero un po’ preoccupata, invece è andato tutto benissimo!
È vero che il prezzo che si va a pagare non è il costo reale in quanto vanno aggiunti costi di sdoganamento, iva e dazi (sopra un certo importo), però rispetto ad acquistare gli stessi prodotti su siti italiani il risparmio è notevole.
Spedizione con DHL express worldwide ottima, ho potuto pagare le imposte tramite il loro link e ho ricevuto la merce il 15/12/2025 ben imballata. La mia esperienza è stata quindi super positiva! Ovviamente non ha senso se si vuole acquistare uno o due prodotti in quanto DHL fa pagare una cifra fissa per le pratiche di dogana…

El pedido jamás llegó después de casi un mes de haberlo pedido, no responden emails.... no sé realmente qué pasa con esta empresa.
Es un engaño total.
Al menos pagué con PayPal y me han devuelto el dinero.

Extremely disappointed: Order #183346 placed on Dec 1st — NO updates, NO delivery

I placed my order (#183346) on December 1st, and today is December 22nd. The website stated a delivery time of 5–10 business days. I understand there might be delays due to Black Friday, but it has been over three weeks, and I still have not received my package or any tracking information.

Even worse, I have sent multiple emails to their support team, but they are being completely ignored. This level of customer service is unacceptable for a global brand.

I want my order to be shipped immediately or a full refund. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

So disappointed in the official website of 1004skin. It’s absolutely not free shipping…
I ordered on Black Friday with amazing discounts but at customer clearance they only see the original prices so my import duties are more than what I payed for the products. Absurd to me… The extra payments were not communicated when I ordered.

Scam company
I have ordered over 100 worth of products via their website and never received them. I have contacted UPS customs about my lacking order and the company has stated that this is a common issue with Skin1004 as they do not properly fill out paperwork which makes it impossible to clear customs. Since Skin1004 also doesnt refund or even have a customer service to begin with, they basically take the money AND the product back and leave you with nothing.

Commande effectuée le 02 Octobre de 238$ sur leur site SKIN 1004 avec promesse de livraison en 2 à 5 jours ouvrables. Le 15 octobre, j'envoi un mal au service client pour savoir si ma commande a été prise en compte . Pas de réponse. Je réitère le 19 Octobre et toujours pas de réponse. Impossible de contacter autrement le service client, lequel ne répond visiblement pas aux mails . Vraiment pas sérieux! A fuir, je ne recommanderai plus leurs produits et déconseille cette entreprise

placed my order (#162357) on September 30th. According to the official website, orders are shipped within 2–5 business days. It’s now been over 15 days and my order hasn’t even been packed. I tried contacting support via email and Instagram — no real help, and they even deleted my public comment instead of responding. This is very disappointing and feels dishonest.

I never received the package! Do not buy from the site!
