I am sorry that you are not happy with the time that delivery took. But 2 weeks to ship to India it is quite standard; unfortunately, what’s made it this proceed longer was actually get your identify verify by the courier.

Thanks for your review on Trustpilot.

The information is very clear in our website, orders are dispatched from the UK to the EU: “In the current climate, delivery can take up to 14 days to reach certain destinations”. Since the time of delivery is out of our hands due the customs and check at borders.

But we‘re obviously trying to improve on this, and from September shipments will happen from a Netherlands’ warehouse, so we can cut the time of deliveries.

Hi Richard.

The information was clear at several points across the website and throughout the checkout process to highlight that each EU customer would have to pay local import duties and taxes due to Brexit. Unfortunately as a business we have no control over this and over the amount charged by each country.

We have been working hard in the background and as of 16th July 2021 orders are dispatched from the UK DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). This means we will cover all local VAT charges and customers will no longer be charged when receiving their order excluding Norway & Switzerland.

Hi Henry,

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with our products.

Unfortunately, the margin for error when constructing our garments is very slim. If the machinist is slightly off on the seam allowance, the seam will be compromised. It is rare but as a human is involved in the process, it can occasionally happen.

Please could you send me an image of the faulty item, @ customerservice@skinscompression.com and they will advise on the next steps.

Dear Donald, we contacted you before send your oder to advise you about the sold out item, that we refund you immediately. Regarding to the customs charge is out of our hands due BREXIT, and its is explained on the website, plus I explain you again the process by e-mail.
But you are mention, that you also were charge by the item no received. Could you please send me a copy of this to my e-mail and we'll have a look what we can do about this.

As I have already advise on this; your order was send and stopped at customs waiting for your to payment the local taxs for its release. And have now returned to our warehouse, and as previous discussed we have now proceed with your refund. If there is anything left that we can help you with?

Hi Banjo, thank you for your review and sorry to hear you are not happy with the service you have received. From September 2021 all EU orders will be dispatched from our new Netherlands warehouse, this will remedy the issue you have experienced. Until this time, all EU orders will continue to be despatched from our UK warehouse. It is not our aim to mislead customers and we have offered this information on a banner at the top of each page. As you mention, there is also a tick box at checkout for you to confirm that you are aware that local tax charges may be applicable on receipt (if an item was despatched from within the EU, there would be no taxes to pay and therefore, no need for the tick box). We have also offered this information in our T&C's as well as in the delivery information - our aim is to be as transparent as possible, not to mislead. Regrettably, the level of tax levied at the point of receipt seems to fluctuate across each EU country and even within the same country, there is no consistency which makes it difficult to advise how much each customer will be charged. Again, I am deeply sorry that you have had a bad experience of SKINS on this occasion.
