The blinds are good quality and were easy to fit. They arrive requiring assembly but it’s easy and takes only a few minutes. I tested the blinds before installing, particularly as pairing the Tuya smart plug requires pushing a small button on the motor which might be difficult once installed. They are operating well both from the remote control and the Tuya smart App. I have 3 blinds and chose to have them all operate simultaneously, although other options are available.
Communication has been pretty smooth.

Perfect service and an excellent. After a very helpful phone conversation I measured the window as instructed and the blind was a perfect fit. It arrived promptly, well-wrapped and in perfect condition.

I had an issue with the Sky-light blinds I ordered set year and emailed the Company for some assistance.

Delivery was sent on time as expected. I fitted it myself so had to wait for my assistant to be available. I was impressed by the quality of the blind and the fittings. The price was excellent and offered good value compared to other quotes.I followed the instructions and fitting together proved a lot easier than expected. I tested the blind on the floor as suggested it worked perfectly. Although fitting it up proved a little more difficult than expected as it’s quite big although light.But once in position it worked perfectly.

We installed the lantern blind 11 months ago and it has worked faultlessly since, powered by solar. It looks professional, keeps in/out the heat when closed and there are no visible cords when it’s open. It needs 2 people (and patience!) to assemble (videos supplied are useful) and a third person for 15 minutes of the instal as 2 are on ladders lifting the frame. Customer support from Naomi is excellent.

I've got to be honest, I wasn't sure what the quality was going to be like, but I was amazed, I wish everything I normally install went as well as this blind did!
Well made, simple to install, I fitted this for my auntie and she loves it, has a lovely smooth action and is still working well 3 months on!

After a lot of looking around for large, skylight ceiling blinds, I found Skylight Blinds Direct and couldn't be happier.
The communication and help on my order, was first class. And when the product arrived, the instructions to install, were very clear. I needed a bit of help, and the team were quick with their reply and offered advice to solve my problem.

Excellent product and company. They couldn’t help enough, from initial enquiries about the best product for my needs right through to the installation.. video calling me on installation day to check I was ok with everything! They modified the design slightly to accommodate my needs and the size of the 2 blinds.. can’t ask for better customer service than that. I am so glad I used this company for my new skylights, finished the job off perfectly. Installation was easy and I was able to install them on my own in less than 30mins each. As per previous reviewer we also have a lip hiding an LED lighting strip at the base of the lantern lights. This means the blinds have to be built insitu which is quite awkward but do-able. Unfortunately we weren’t sent all the installation information but this was rectified when we contacted the company. Another complication I hadn’t thought about was the island directly underneath which cannot be stood on. We overcame this by renting builders trestles and scaffold boards. Now the blinds are in I am so pleased with them. They create shade and relief from the heat while still letting some light through. I am pleased with the solar battery operation.

We have had our Blackout Lantern Blind for sometime now. We have used it quite frequently when the sun has come out to play. And it is doing a Fantastic job. We took our own measurements as guided by Lantern Blinds-Direct and our blind was made for us. When it arrived it was well packaged we found it reasonably easy to put together and install. And it fitted perfectly. Solar powered so no electric cables anywhere. The customer experience was Amazing. Thank you Naomi and Team for being there from start to finish and also after sales.

Excellent product at an affordable cost.
I have been using my Lantern lite open view lantern blind for over 6 months and have found it excellent in keeping my room shaded during the summer and looking forward to the benefit of extra warmth hin the winter. The solar charged battery is very good. I have not yet had to charge the battery.

We ordered a Honeycomb Openview black out blind to reduce heat and glare in our kitchen extension. I was a bit hesitant ordering online and going with self fitting, but Steve was very helpful during ordering process providing guidance via whatsapp and phone. Assembly and fitting of the blind were pretty straightforward. We had a couple of issues where it wasn't straight and not closing completely but Naomi responded promptly over whatsapp and we managed to make the adjustment needed and get it all sorted. We are very happy with the blind, it looks fantastic and has greatly reduced the heat from the lantern when its sunny.

They are really nice people and easy to deal with. They answered my questions and made sure I had measured correctly. Delivery was very quick and the end result is really good. I couldn't be more pleased.
