I'm a happy slimbook user since a decade with te same Pro X15 intel 9th gen. And still gettin updates and parts.
Sadly for slimbook i see no end using this notebook soon :-)

Recientemente adquirí un Slimbook Evo 15" (hardware Clevo), y el hardware rinde muy bien; se nota la calidad del equipo. Lo único que podrían mejorar son las configuraciones de Linux de fábrica, que dejan un poco que desear. Soy usuario avanzado, y he podido corregir el problema del “flickering screen” y que el teclado Dvorak no guardara la configuración al iniciar el equipo, entre otras cosas.
En general, los equipos Slimbook son muy top. Recomiendo estos equipos solo a usuarios avanzados en GNU/Linux que sepan lo que hacen.

Ayer recibí mi Slimbook Elemental con Linux Mint preinstalado y la experiencia no podría ser mejor.

Desde el primer encendido todo ha funcionado perfectamente. Todo el hardware está totalmente soportado por Linux, sin configuraciones ni ajustes complicados. El sistema es rápido, fluido y muy estable. Para un uso cotidiano el ordenador vuela literalmente.

He probado también algunas tareas más exigentes: reproduce vídeo en 4K sin pestañear y he hecho una prueba grabando pantalla con OBS Studio, que ha funcionado de forma impecable.

Compré este portátil principalmente para mi trabajo como profesor: preparar material pedagógico, crear contenido educativo y grabar videotutoriales. Para este tipo de uso es perfecto: silencioso, ágil y fiable.

Pero hay algo que me gustaría subrayar especialmente: la dimensión humana de Slimbook.

Desde el primer momento tuve la suerte de ser atendido por Alex, un auténtico profesional de la atención al cliente. Necesitaba el ordenador con cierta urgencia y se implicó personalmente para acelerar todo el proceso. Gracias a su gestión, el equipo fue enviado apenas tres días después de haber realizado la compra. Además, hizo un seguimiento muy atento del envío e incluso tuvo que intervenir en algún momento para facilitarme la recogida del paquete. Este tipo de atención marca realmente la diferencia.

Por experiencias como esta llevo tiempo recomendando Slimbook a muchas personas de mi entorno. No solo por la calidad de su hardware, sino también por su compromiso firme con el software libre y con GNU/Linux.

Estoy realmente encantado con la compra y recomendaría el Slimbook Elemental a cualquier persona que tenga necesidades informáticas básicas y quiera un portátil rápido, fiable y perfectamente preparado para Linux desde el primer minuto.

I believe that the people at Slimbook love their job, and it shows in the way they engage with their customers. Through the process (ordering to receiving in Sweden took 7 days), I was in touch with 3 different persons/functions, each equally engaged, friendly and highly knowledgeable and supportive. This extends to advising you even if this results in decreasing the original value of the order: they seem to care more about their customers getting the right product and advise than just making money.

Granted, this is my first time buying a customized laptop, as opposed to buying in-stock/on display laptops from an electronic retailer - so although I dd expect another kind of experience, I still had not expected that kind of close engagement with their customers.

As for the laptop: I got the Exccalibur Blue 16", and I'm crazy about it so far. For context I'm moving from an Asus Zenbook S16, after being an (almost life-long) macbook fan. The build quality seems very solid, slightly thicker than Asus (which was very slim), heavier as well (Asus is full plastic and cerulium-ish), feels more like a macbookPro, nut a bit more round/less sharp-edged. There is a thin rim of another alloy all around the body which adds to the overall stylish aspect.

I read feedback from users complaining about an unresponsive trackpad - mine isn't. After removing the protective plastic it was a bit sticky, but wiping it with a slightly damp cloth fixed this immediately - it works just as well as any other trackpad. The keys on the keyboard are not shallow. In terms of colour and finition, it's more grey than blue, more like a dark grey macbook than a midnight blue mackbook air.
Overall it combines a feeling of robustness and style.
I have slimbookOS K on it - it's snappy fast, stable.

Of course I'll have to see on long-term usage but the very awesome buying experience and the product so far answers the question of where I think I'll buy my next laptop ;-)
At any rate I can highly recommend. I believe one is in good hands with the team.

I've owned a Slimbook Excalibur since January 2026 and I'm very happy with my notebook.
During the waiting and assembly period, I was in regular contact with the team and received prompt answers to my questions.
I can only say that if you have any problems, contact customer service.
The long wait from the beginning of December 2025 was worth it.
The price and performance are excellent.
The device is superbly crafted and has been running flawlessly with Windows 11 25H2 since the very first minute.
The cooling system is surprisingly quiet, not "unbearably loud" as described in some forums.
I do find it annoying that the battery can't be replaced without tools.
However, I assume the company will provide assistance if the battery ever needs to be replaced.

Support service is excelent. My EVO 15 came with a defect in RAM banks that passed memtest+ successfully, but they changed the RAM anyway and the issue was resolved.

Tuve una incidencia con mi Slimbook mini one y el servicio de soporte fue buenisimo. Eusebio me ayudó muchísimo. Estoy encantado con el mini one y proximamente miraré tambien portatiles.

Trato y equipos excelentes, buenas ofertas en temporadas especiales, compatibilidad 100% con Linux y Windows, soporte informático durante toda la vida del equipo. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?

Ahora que llevo unos meses ya con el portatil decir que es lo mejor que he tenido nunca, potencia, diseño, peso, fiabilidad... una verdadera maravilla. Luego el euqipo de soporte, atencion y ventas ha sido genial!!!!

I purchased a Slimbook EVO 15 about 5 months ago, and so far I'm really happy with it. The build quality is good, the performance is excellent, and SlimbookOS (based on Ubuntu 24.04) is a great experience. The few questions I had were answered quickly by the support team

Muy buena marca, llevo varios años con un prox15 y va de lujo.

Llevo años confiando en los equipos de esta marca, tanto para uso personal como profesional, y mi última experiencia no ha hecho más que reforzar dicha confianza. Recientemente, mi empresa sustituyó mi antiguo ProX por un Evo, y la diferencia ha sido espectacular. El rendimiento es impecable y, lo que más valoro, su funcionamiento es prácticamente inaudible, algo fundamental cuando pasas largas jornadas de trabajo a pleno rendimiento.

Quiero destacar especialmente el servicio posventa de Slimbook, quizá el pilar más importante de su propuesta de valor. Hace aproximadamente un mes, tuve un problema con la conexión de una de mis pantallas externas. Aunque parecía clara una incidencia de hardware, el equipo de soporte de Slimbook atendió mi caso con suma dedicación. Me guiaron paso a paso, explorando distintas soluciones y descartando posibilidades hasta identificar la raíz del fallo: un cable de vídeo que no suministraba la potencia necesaria.

Gracias a su ayuda, pude resolverlo sin complicaciones y en tiempo récord. Estoy al 100% satisfecho tanto con el Evo como con la atención recibida. Slimbook se ha ganado con creces su reputación como referente en el ecosistema Linux. Si buscas un equipo potente, silencioso y un soporte técnico impecable, no lo dudes: esta es tu mejor opción.

El servicio postventa es de 10. Se esfuerzan mucho por resolverte todos tus problemas y dudas.

I bought an Excalibur 16" last year after a long careful look for a linux compatible machine with a good screen and an AMD platform. I'm very pleased with it.

The hardware is good-to-excellent - the high resolution screen is superb, the keyboard is fine (including numpad), and trackpad also decent although not macbook level. Looks great, nice case and hinges etc are excellent. Performance is fine.
Linux has a few issues that need a bit more work - power management can be spotty and I have had screen glitches that seem to be a general issue with the Radeon graphics - this is an area where everyone is having problems, it seems. Windows runs OK too - but also not great at sleep/wake so perhaps there is an underlying issue with the BIOS. I don't think this is down to Slimbook, it goes back to AMD.

Support from Slimbook is excellent - they always reply to emails, genuinely try to answer questions, and it's clear that they really want to help their customers. 10/10 for this.

Some of the online documentation could be clearer and better written (in English versions, at least) - the BIOS/EC upgrade guide is a good example. It's nearly there, but it does not include all the things that happen and in this process, that causes anxiety...

I'd certainly recommend Slimbook (and have done) for the quality at a good price, the serious effort to support Linux properly, and for the genuine support.

I bought Excalibur Refresh (later called as Excalibur Blue) at the end of November 2024. Got it in the middle of December 2024. At first the device looked great and solid but after 8 hours of casual use it burnt something on it's motherboard. The support team responded quite quickly to my issue and I got my new laptop repaired under warranty with no costs. I am currently using this laptop everyday since middle of January 2025 (normal use and heavy gaming at full TDP/power) and I did not encounter any issues.
The only thing I could complain is quite trashy internal microphone but this doesn't bother me too much because microphone from earphones resolves this issue.

The only thing that the company could do better in my opinion is more frequent communicating to their customers regarding their order and service request and better quality testing. Sometimes I got impression that my case was pushed forward once I contacted support team. I must admit that I was quite impatient (most expensive laptop in my life) and time of the year could make the company very busy (Christmas, New Year's Eve) but this is just my impression.

Regarding quality testing I expected that laptop for that price (over 1000 euros is a lot for a new laptop in Poland) would not have Tux logo placed not straight and screen protection film not removing completely (parts of it remained under screen bezel). On the other hand you will not find anywhere laptop with that good build quality (full aluminium body), high performance (Ryzen 7 8845HS), possibilities of upgrade and perfect screen and keyboard in lower price than Slimbook has.

Overall with some small trade-offs this is great value for money.

Great products! Since 2018, I have bought three laptops, all from Slimbook. I prefer Linux configurations with much memory. For virtualization, good performance and use them in the long term as servers. Super recomendable!

Slimbook proX 14 el portátil más absurdo con el que tiré el dinero.
Lo compré en 2020 con Ryzen 7 4000 y ampliado entonces a 16 GB de RAM. En teoría debería ser hoy día funcional y durar para mucho más pero no...

El portátil funcionar funciona. El problema es que alguien que se compra un portátil fino de 14 pulgadas es para que sea portable y aún con ahorro de energía y bajando el brillo al máximo nunca ha durado la batería más de tres horas y media. Un despropósito total. La garantía de la empresa ha sido el peor fiasco del mundo. Después de seis meses no responden por la batería (cuando no es la batería sino un ensamblaje de componentes en conjunto ineficiente y poca batería), les comento problemas con el altavoz y también se lavan las manos. Tienes que ir a un cargador pegado. Pero es que aún hay más, los señores lumbreras tuvieron la genial idea de ponerles un cargador gigante de carga rápida. Cuando digo gigante es que abulta mucho más que el portátil. No te cabe en las fundas de 14' que tienen un bolsillo para ello.

Entonces, señores lumbreras de Slimbook, ¿quién fue la mente pensante de tal idiotez? Tener un portátil fino y de 14' pulgadas para que sea portable pero no te lo puedes llevar porque la batería aguanta un tercio de la jornada laboral y tienes que cargar con un cargador de dimensiones exageradas.

Ahí tengo un portátil que me fastidia usarlo hasta en casa porque el cargador hasta cuando estoy en el sofá con él encima está enchufado con un cargador gigante que molesta lo que no está escrito, como la batería dura nada (y se la he cambiado recientemente comprada a vuestra web a precio de oro) pero no es problema del mal estado de la misma, lo es de vuestro producto.

Aposté por Slimbook por no querer irme a la manzana podrida, y con todo el dolor de mi alma ha sido la peor compra tecnológica que he hecho nunca. Tiré más de mil euros por la borda.

(Hace poco tuve que comprar un módem USB porque vuestra tarjeta de red no vale para Windows, bravo por el lumbreras del ensamblaje, una con otra)

Bought my Slimbook Executive this wall and was very satisfied with it.

The I spilled a very large cup of coffee on it and it wouldn't turn on. I was able to disassemble the laptop and identify the damage to the motherboard and the battery connector.

I am located in the US and the shipping in for repairs would have been very expensive. The Slimbook support team quickly responded to my ticket, agreed from the pictures on the source of the damage and suggested to send a replacement motherboard and battery to save on the shipping.

After replacing the parts, the laptop is working again. The support team was responsive and very reasonable. I couldn't ask for a better service!

Had to update the BIOS and support was very reactive and caring.

I bought a Slimbook Excalibur with Debian installed, and I wouldn't recommend it. I wanted to reinstall Debian straight away for multiple reasons, and that proved to be a hassle: it took me almost 10 days to get it up and running. I find that very strange for a laptop which is supposed to be Linux-friendly by design, because I've installed various Linux distributions on other laptops and I don't recall ever getting into such trouble. But the worst is that after reinstalling Debian, I got a lot of serious bugs (e.g. external monitor constantly blinking) which I never encountered on other laptops.

So in the end I decided to return the laptop. The process for doing so is far from being straightforward, you have to fill in the same information multiple times, and print a document (some other brands make you print a document but that's the only thing you have to do, and that's because they pay for shipping so you have to print the shipping label).

All in all I lost 50 euros (36 euros of return shipping + around 15 euros which they deducted from the refund, I'm not sure why). So I had a pretty bad experience, but I'm still rating Slimbook 2 stars to give them the benefit of the doubt, because they seem to act in good faith (though such a complicated return process makes me think it might have been done on purpose).
