Why lower standard of care?
My mum had a disappointing standard of care today unlike her previous good experience with dentist Ruth who explained each stage and was very thorough.
Today's dentist hardly waiting for the anaesthetic to work and then water was dripping from her mouth through the procedure (without the bib she would have been soaked). Finally, there was no explanation of costs until £80 bill was presented for the 20 minute appointment. It felt rushed.

Superb care
Really appreciate the care that goes in to my appointments. Have had significant issues with my teeth due to a long term health condition and the service has been fantastic from my dentist Gita. Each exam she thoroughly checks my teeth but also my jaw tension and has given fantastic advice that has really worked. My daughter also has a tooth condition and the service provided to her has been outstanding. She loves going to the dentist and they have an incredible child led approach, explaining everything directly to her as well as me. All the staff from the receptionists to the dental nurses are friendly, helpful and considerate.

I appreciate that I receive a reminder re my appointment. On my last visit on 2 May I was attended to promptly. The dentist and dental assistant were courteous and helpful. The dentist understood my fear of pain and she suggested appropriate treatment. I was satisfied with my treatment and the staff were pleasant & helpful.

The dentist found a burn mark on my gum and was able to take a photo of it and show it to me.

I was booked for a routine examination
I was booked for a routine examination. He simply looked at my teeth and said if there were fillings or not. No examination of my gums. Less than 10 minutes for £36.

Only joined in November this year and I…
Only joined in November this year and I can't recommend at all. Done work without explaining how much they would charge. Filled in a tooth that is still to be removed but the dentist didn't feel comfortable to do it. I have been waiting for the practice manager in Donaghadee to phone me for 3 weeks n9w.
