I just bought a set of smart flask bottles. I purchased an ice blue 750ml for my husband and received a pearl white. I also purchase a set of 750ml and 500ml and the 500ml bottle does not activate the UV. I literally got the bottles 2 days ago. I can't ring the company, so I emailed them but no response. I already have buyers regret and at this stage, unless they resolve this issue very quickly and to my satisfaction, I cannot recommend these bottles.

The temperature reading is stuck at 100 degrees. We never put hot liquids. It’s always in the fridge. Their technology is not good. It’s faulty after couple of months. And their warranty is only one month. They themselves are not confident in their product. I don’t recommend this brand. Don’t buy and cry.

Great product initially but the top malfunctions after a few months of daily use. Customer service did replace the first bottle after sending a video to confirm, but as the replacement is now not functioning no response is forth coming from my emails. Expensive flask that does not live up to expectations. Very disappointing

Had an amazing experience ordering their UV-C bottle in the colour pink, love the fact that its so pretty and reminds me to hydrate so often.

Bought smart flask August 2025. February the temperature reading is stuck at 100 degrees even though it’s in the fridge all the time. Smart flask said warranty is only 1 month. So they made it look fancy with temperature reading. Priced at $86. But when it fails they will offer you 10% off to buy another one. Not recommended, just buy a normal water bottle.

Bought a smart hydration bottle and the bottle is of higher quality than I expected. Definitely will use this bottle for my daily activities.

Being a gym trainer, I use my Smartflask at the gym every day. Stays cold, feels sturdy, and I like knowing the water is actually clean. Way better than disposable bottles.

Purchased this product for my partner along with another for myself. He did not use it straight away until a planned trip where it worked for a week before malfunction. The UV light seems to stay on all of the time and was losing charge until the cleaning function ceased working altogether.
The company asked for a detailed video showcasing the non-functionality of the bottle which was then responded with "As per our return and exchange policy, items purchased on sale and beyond the 1-month period are not eligible for return or exchange, as this product was purchased last year in December. We hope for your understanding in this regard. That said, we value you as our customer and would love to offer you a 30% discount on your next Smart flask purchase as a gesture of goodwill. We hope this helps and shows our commitment to customer satisfaction."
I understand the return and exchange policy however it is reasonable to expect that a product whether on sale or not would last longer than 1 week of use (in this case) or even 4 months (as purchased) without use. The product provided is faulty and as per Australian Consumer Law, I should be entitled to a replacement or refund. The product does not perform as intended.
This is unacceptable to not provide a replacement or refund for faulty goods and so would appear if you do receive a faulty product, there will be no refund or replacement as it would appear the policy is actually "to not replace or refund faulty goods" as has been the case with the faulty item I purchased. Very poor customer service indeed.

I had a very disappointing experience with Smart Flask. The company suppresses genuine customer reviews, blocking or deleting any negative feedback to create the illusion of perfect ratings. Their website displays numerous five-star reviews that seem artificial, raising concerns about their authenticity.

Additionally, they do not provide a clear business address or company details, which is unusual for a business operating under Australian consumer laws. Their Facebook page claims they are based in Sydney, but their ABN is registered in Victoria, and the page is managed by overseas entities, raising concerns about their transparency.

After repeatedly posting my review, they blocked my IP address from accessing their website, further demonstrating a lack of accountability and a disregard for customer feedback. They also refused to refund or replace my bottle, which had a defect where the rubber on the bottom was coming off.

Based on my experience and their questionable business practices, I would not recommend purchasing from them.
