Had an Ohme electric car charger fitted by Smart Home. Such a fantastic service. I was given really great advice by Danielle as to what charger was best. It was fitted by Rhys and he was really helpful and explained how to get started. Great price point too compared to other companies. Would thoroughly recommend. 😄

We have a Niko lighting system, which is very complicated. Smart Home upgraded this a couple of years ago and we asked them back because we had changed our wifi system. Rhys did an excellent job. As always, things were more complicated, technically, than expected yet Rhys solved all the problems in a calm and professional way. He is charming, polite and incredibly tidy and is the personification of what we have come to expect from Smart Home. In addition, I think, as a company, they are excellent value for money.

Great service from Smart Home Technical. They supplied and installed and Ohme Pro EV charger. Communication was efficient from the start, the engineer arrived on time, carried out a neat installation of the charger and left everything tidy upon completion. Smart Home Technical were very competitive on price, in alignment with big national companies so was happy to support a local business offering a more personal service. Would happily recommend and use again.

Amazing service from Smart Home Technical - they installed a solar and GivEnergy Hybrid Inverter and Battery system for us last year as well as a car charger and new consumer unit. The whole team are extremely helpful and I would completely recommend them.

Had a consumer unit upgrade to the house and an Ohme Home Pro EV charge point fitted to the wall.
The whole experience was really professional, I was kept informed at each stage and everything was left clean and tidy on completion.

We were recommended to Smart Home Technical by other locals that had used them. Simon listened carefully to what we thought we wanted in our system, made some informed suggestions and together we found a solution for a complex roof alignment that incuded 22 panels in 2 arrays, with 2 inverters and a 13.5kW battery, hot water solar booster and gateway, that fitted within our budget. Installation commenced within days of confirmation, and even before the deposit invoice arrived.
The installation team, Matt, Rhys and Ross, were very polite, friendly, efficient and tidy.
Final commissioning was slightly delayed by a faulty inverter, but a new one was installed on the day it was received by SHTL.
The entire team, from Simon, to Clare and Danni in the office & the sparkies, were professional, helpful, transparent and communicative at all times - a pleasure to deal with.
I would not hesitate to recommend Smart Home Technical, and have already referred our neighbour to them.

I came across Smart Home Technical by chance. I'd just moved. I needed a home charger for my Nissan Leaf and EV chargers was a part, a small part, of what they do. An experienced electrician came out and surveyed my property and very soon I had a working charger. They even came back the following day to sort out a problem with how the Leaf worked. I had an order for panels and a battery with another company since the summer of 2022 and was experiencing repeated delays. Fed up with waiting, I cancelled my order with the other company and contacted Smart Home Technical.

I'm glad I did, because just two weeks after my initial enquiry on 3rd April, installation took place over the week of 17th April.

I was blown away that Simon and his team could have everything installed and up and running so fast, after months of delays and stories of supply chain issues from the other company.

All the team were efficient, hardworking and kept us updated at all times what was happening. Would highly recommend to anyone considering electrical works and solar. Having recently been badly let down by a Solar installation company, I was reluctant to look for another to supply and fit solar batteries. I contacted Smart Home Technical who were very helpful over the phone listening to what I wanted. Within one day they had visited my property, supplied a quote and I had paid a deposit. 2 weeks later and the batteries are in, commissioned and working like a dream. Excellent knowledge of products, great value, and super fast fitting. What is not to like? Highly recommend this company and wish I had found them last year when I had started the whole Solar journey.
