Billy Miller, my case handler, worked hard on my case, not giving up when the FSCS rejected my claim. He kept chasing them up, providing different arguments, and all the time keeping me informed. We had a claim regarding business disruption due to Covid19 and approached Smooth Law Commercial to take over the case and act as our solicitor for the claim against the insurer.
We have received professional service and advice from Smooth Law Commercial to produce the documents, which supported our claim over time while facing different queries from the insurer or the loss adjuster.
After a long process of negotiation with the loss adjuster carried out by Smooth Law Commercial, they were able to increase the settlement offer proposed by the loss adjuster to a greater amount, which was higher than our expectation. At the end, our claim ended with an excellent result!
