J'utilise un onduleur ME3000SP depuis 3 ans sur mon installation photovoltaïque ; celui-ci étant tombé en panne récemment, j'ai adressé un email chez Sofar Solar et mon problème a été résolu sous 8 jours par l'envoi d'un matériel neuf en remplacement, je ne connais que peu d'entreprises aussi réactive, Bravo a vous.

Last Sunday was the first time in 4 years of faultless service that my Sofar Solar inverter had gone off-line (as shown by a red symbol on their Solarman app).

Although I couldn't contact the UK Sofar Solar phone number, I did get a prompt response from my email to them.

The information they provided (a Wifi reconnection guide) allowed my to bring my inverter back online. It was timely, clear and very useful.

I believe the inverter was working correctly all the time but had simply lost its connection to my wifi, meaning that it wouldn't record the solar panels' electricity generation. It just needed a sunny day to generate power that would enable the re-linking.

I have total faith in Sofar Solar (as I do with my solar installer - ccSolar of Worthing) and I think it deserves 5 stars for the prompt and effective customer service.

Our PV system used a Sofar Solar inverter for a satisfactory five years. At no time were we informed that a guarantee extension beyond five years was available. Two weeks after the five year guarantee period Sofar Solar imposed a firmware update. No information was given before or after the operation .
The inverter crashed and despite specialist examination could not be resurrected.
Eventually after two months of complaining and seeking support from the installers a brand new updated inverter arrived direct from China. Now fitted and functioning well it has absolutely no guarantee!!
When asked the UK office stated that the replacement inverter was subject to the same guarantee as the original inverter which ran out on June 22 th last.
HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY.

YOUR COMPANY EMPLOY NAME IS JATIN DARJI. HE IS NOT PROVIDED A PROPER REPLY OR ANY SOLUTION. THE CUSTOMER HAS BEEN PERPLEXED FOR THE LAST 3 WEEKS.PLZ TAKE ACTION AND PROVIDE SOLUTION.

Appalling UK customer service. Our company has been trying to resolve a warranty claim on behalf of a customer for 3 months. The support staff who answer the phone tell us lie after lie and never phone back. It is still not resolved. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

We’ve always trusted SOFAR Solar products, but our recent experience has been disappointing. After replacing two inverters under warranty in July and August, following all their procedures, we are yet to receive payment for the work.

The last communication from them was in October, with no signature or clear follow-up. Despite our repeated efforts, there has been no progress. We urge SOFAR Solar to address this issue promptly and honor their commitment.

The uk branch of this company are terrible. It is a mainland based Chinese company Shenzhen SOFARSOLAR Co., Ltd. They have contacted the UK side but no joy. Photos and all information been provided but they do not reply to emails The invertor is under guarantee but we seem to have no hope of having this replaced. I can only concur with previous reviews. Please AVOID at all costs. @SoFarsolar.

Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

I emailed the company to raise an issue with our battery unit. They emailed back a few times, asking for photos. After I provided them with everything, they decided to just ignore us. The unit is under warranty, but they do not care. I noticed quite a few people have this problem with the company and their equipment.

I would not recommend, nor will I ever buy anything else from them!
