Great backup for Solax T3 Slave battery added
I had a battery added to my solar system. It was a Solax T3 after 2 years I decided to increase from 5.8kWh to 16kWh with 2x slave batteries! I had a problem getting the balance right contacted my original installer but I still wasn’t happy so started contacting Solax industries regarding the setup! I approached John Li who set me in the right direction but I still needed fine tuning. John directed Vipper in my direction. Vipper was incredible he had the battery system sorted out very smartly! Now my Solax system is working fantastic I couldn’t ask for more! I can’t praise the Solax team highly enough. Thank you Solax I appreciate your support and respect Vipper’s working skills

2 year old system - one solax inverter failed - installer have since ceased trading - sent numerous emails to solax as no number available to call -

Der Garantietausch eines Wechselrichters dauert ewig
Wir haben seit etwa einem Jahr einen Solax Wechselrichter X3HybridG4. Vor ca. 5 Wochen ist dieser kaputt gegangen. Er zählt beim Einschalten nicht mehr hoch. Lt. dem Experten ist das ein eindeutiger Garantiefall, aber bei Solax tut man hin und her. Mal sagt uns es ist ein Austausch eingeleitet, mal sagt man es wird geprüft, mal sagt man es gibt derzeit kein Ersatzgerät. Für eine Antwort braucht es Tage. Nach derartigen schlechten Erfahrungen würden wir nie mehr ein Solax Gerät kaufen, auch wir gehört haben, dass dieses Gerät sehr oft kaputt geht. Daher lieber Hände weg von Solax.

Thieving energy via my energy meter and my bill
Had a Solax X3-IES system fitted towards the end of March. I have been given no access to the Solax cloud app. I have since discovered the system has been setup to charge the 5kva battery from my energy companies meter and I have to pay for it. They have done this without my permission and refused to answer my emails. This is energy theft. Their system is supposed to supply me with electricity and not the other way around. Absolutely dodgy company. Look elsewhere for your system.
Started and finished installation on time
Started and finished installation on time. Took half a day for 6 panels, battery and inverted. Was very satisfied with price and intalllation. Wpuld highly recommend ANGUS asa privider compamy.
Toller Support
Ich habe den x3 Hybrid G4 Wechselrichter, sowie die Wallbox X3 und bin sehr zufrieden. Den Support habe ich schon 3-4 kontaktiert, hier lief alles einwandfrei. Schnelle Antwort und das Problem wurde immer gelöst. Am besten kontaktiert man den Support über die App, dort habe ich übersichtlich alle Tickets.

ieri ho avuto dei problemi con le batterie, ho chiamato l'assistenza tecnica che si sono collegati da remoto e mi hanno sistemato il problema in poco tempo.

Sehr schlechter Service von Solax support. Patric Blohmann vom Solax Support hat aus seiner Sicht etwas repariert, dass ich gar nicht als Problem angegeben hatte. Das Problem besteht immer noch und das Ticket wurde von Solax ohne Lösung geschlossen. Ich kann nur empfehlen die Finger von Solax zu lassen und ein zuverlässiges und kundenorientiertetes Fabrikat zu wählen.
Problèmes de fonctionnement et de sécurité.
Toujours ce problème récurrent d'erreur indiquant que le réseau électrique a un problème "grid volt fault" sur mon onduleur Solax X1.
Il est vrai que lorsque je mesure le voltage fourni par EDF il varie sans cesse, ce qui n'est pas étonnant compte tenu des nombreux générateurs photovoltaïques qui interagissent sur le réseau.
La solution semble simple, il suffit de modifier la plage de variation admise par l'onduleur par le biais d'un correctif...
Le SAV contacté m'a pour une fois répondu mais en m'indiquant qu'il ne pouvait pas intervenir sur mon appareil, pourtant équipé d'un dongle Wifi.
Et pour finir de voir avec Enedis qui bien entendu va me garantir un voltage stable !
Je module mon avis, car le support, m'a enfin donné la marche à suivre pour intervenir sur le réglage haut du voltage admis.
De plus il m'a fourni la mise a jour du firmare de l'onduleur.
Malheureusement, ce même onduleur déclenche le disjoncteur 30 mA en tête de réseau
Mon électricien a mesuré une tension de 73 V entre la terre et le neutre !
Le SAV contacté m'a dis que cela devait venir de mes panneaux ou de leurs connexions.
Mais après avoir débranché complètement les panneaux, cette fuite persiste, c'est donc bien un problème propre à l'onduleur.
J'ai donc demandé son changement à Solax et leur réponse n'a pas tardé : l'appareil n'est plus sous garantie !
j'ai pourtant plusieurs autres onduleurs dont la plus ancien fonctionne sans problème depuis 2008.
Je pensais que sur un défaut majeur touchant à la sécurité, Solax me proposerait un échange standard, mais il n'en est rien.
Malgré leur credo de satisfaction prioritaire de l'utilisateur, je suis dans l'obligation de constater que le matériel n'est pas fiable et que le SAV se défile.
Bought the batteries in December 23…
Bought the batteries in December 23 from their supplier Rainbow Energy. Soon after installation the Rainbow Energy went into liquidation and the batteries stopped working.
After about 14-15 months I managed to contact Solax who put me in touch with an installer. This installer agreed there was something wrong with the batteries and we had to send them back to Solax who reboosted them and sent them back to me. The batteries have worked for roughly 2 months months and gone done again.
Rang Solax and there is no complaints department and I feel that the batteries are not fit for purpose.
They wanted me to go through a process of fixing it myself which I refused as I am not a technician.
They have agreed to contact the installer who will no doubt charge me for the call out fees.
Where do I go from here?

Rubbish warranty
Good system until the inverter failed then we had to pay a call out fee of £78 to get it fixed even though it was still under warranty. Not good enough but we had no choice to get our solar panels working again.
Parts of the interfaces are in Chinese…
Parts of the interfaces are in Chinese language, very annoying, cant use everything. Software feels unstable, would choose a western brand
My inverter doesn't have Internet…
My inverter doesn't have Internet access. Solax point blank refused to tell me how to read information from it. They're only interested if you send all of your data to their cloud server in China.
I can see the inverter on my local network. But all ports are closed. It occasionally sends outbound traffic to the solax servers via MQTT. I can capture that traffic and see what it's doing, but it's just init and time sync messages. Presumably the server needs to send a suitable response to prompt the inverter to start sending power data. But Solax won't tell me what the messages should be.
They are obstructive when I try and find out information. I'd class them as actively customer hostile and are going out of their way to prevent me getting at the data from the device which I bought.
New version looks great
It looks great, easy to alter my Battery settings. And very clear on performance.
No conplaints.
Waiting very long for replacement battery under warranty
Our main battery stopped working after less than 18 months. We have been waiting over 2 months for our battery to be replaced under warranty. We have heard nothing. We are about to consider legal action.
