I can’t praise the support I received from Solid Build, pre and post purchase, enough. No question is too small for Igna and Tomas and they readily answered them with good humor.

Once I placed my order, I received a .pdf instruction manual via email specific to the shed I purchased (the Bristhol). It walks you through the process step by step, from unloading the kit, the number the of pieces to expect (including photos of what materials to reject) to the actual build. The document also has QR codes embedded in the pages taking me directly to videos and animation that I hadn’t yet seen on YouTube.

After the foundation is built, the actual build of putting the shed pieces together really is as easy and quick as they describe. I’m 69 and not strong or flexible, but I was an integral part of actually putting my shed together and I loved it. I purchased an add on window and it was easy to install too. Things requiring ladders I handed off to others. It’s pretty amazing. Any minor issue or question I had was resolved or answered quickly with a call or email to Igna.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the carrier. Brett was as attentive and professional as Solid Build. Solid Build prefers using smaller, more local shippers and I understand why. Brett stayed in touch with me via phone and text to schedule delivery since I needed to coordinate with someone else to help with the unloading. When he arrived (did I squeal a bit when I saw him?) he was respectful and simply put on a mask when I requested it (my husband and I are at COVID risk). Even though I had hired someone to help unload, Brett unexpectedly stepped up and helped unload too. He’s familiar with the product and guided us on how best to unload and sort the pieces. Thank you Brett.

I still have a lot of additional work to do because I am enhancing the shed with insulation, paint, staining the floors, screening etc etc. I can’t wait to tackle the decor for my personal studio. But that’s the fun of it all.

Outstanding communications during a really challenging time for shipping products like this. Tomas kept me in the loop throughout, allowing me to coordinate help for unloading and better pace site preparations. SolidBuild creates their own installation guides and other materials which are far superior to the originals produced in Estonia (I built a different model cabin from a different and also excellent US distributor the previous year). Love my new shed!! It's my new office since adding on to my home was unrealistic. The service team answered all my questions and the delivery was smooth. Kind of wish I would have purchased a larger shed but this one is perfect!!!

Excellent product but not for the faint hearted. I would suggest making it a bit clearer for customers about delivery and installation expectations.

The shed is perfect for my purpose -- small art studio. Everything arrived on time and undamaged. I love the design (french doors and large side window) and the fact that the interior is comprised of beveled fir boards rather than plywood or some other composite. You can reach the company by phone and speak to a real person and get immediate answers. Highly recommend.

The service at Solid Build is excellent! I spoke to Thomas and Igna several times before purchasing. They helped with all my questions about foundation options, delivery timelines, and post-assembly protection. During assembly, I found I was sent an incorrect size screw for the lock assembly and Solid Build quickly sent me an entire new lock assembly.

The shed was delivered faster than we expected. It was easy to assemble and it looks great!

I am really impressed with Solid Build Wood! We purchased the Brighton she shed and its lovely. The shipping contact was also wonderful, making sure we were aware of the timeframe and was so helpful answering all my questions. This was purchased for a Make-A-Wish playhouse and we would definitely buy form them again!

Received the shipment in the pouring rain but placed all in our garage within 30 minutes to await the sun. Erected over a 2 day period, then tarped for several days of more rain (what drought?). Thursday, we will be installing a felt underlayment and an asphalt roofing. Will follow with a solar power source. Looks great now and will look better in a few days. Everybody who has seen it is impressed. So are we!

Was pleasantly surprised with Quality of materials for Bristhol product. Support from the SolidBuild team during assembly was outstanding. Very pleased with result and purchase. A word of caution be prepared to put a little effort into this project, it is fairly labor intensive when taking into account the foundation, roof covering and staining…

Excellent service and beautiful product! I needed to hold the shipment because of delays in prepping the foundation, which was easily accommodated. I also had some questions about roofing and painting that were answered super quickly. Very pleased with my Brightoln shed!

The final product is amazing and I couldn't have built this without the guidance provided by a kit. Some things I wasn't exactly ready for:

1. You have to have a place to put your pieces (walls, flooring, etc) and sort out what's what. Slightly overwhelming at first.
2. Trust yourself if the drawings don't match the instructions.
3. Be prepared to use your tools.
4. Plan painting the shed.
5. Plan your roof.

This kit made me look like I know how to build beautiful things.

I am thrilled with my Gardener 10x10 storage shed! I would say I love it but my wife is already suspicious that I spend too much time there. My original plan was to design and build a shed, but then I remembered my cousin’s shed in Sweden and decided to investigate that. Solid Build makes that style, which is exactly what I wanted and for less money than my design-it-from-scratch model. With all of their styles and options, any need is covered. I chose a basic storage shed and added a window. It worked for me and the space I had available.

To be honest, there is a lot of work to put up a shed. I put quite a bit of effort into getting the foundation built. I also included an adjacent 10x10 deck and installed electric lights and outlets. However, the actual assembly of the shed is not difficult; it was fun. This has created a remote room that can be used year round and I’m confident it adds to the value of our house.

The 4 criteria: Design: They are so clever at Solid Build. The interlocking board design makes for a clean looking structure, inside and out. The operation of the windows is very functional. The doors and windows can be removed from their hinge mounts. The final appearance is a mix of rustic and modern. Quality: The boards came well packaged and were in fine condition: straight and true. Just to be sure, they include a couple extra. Because I had extra wood from cutting the window opening, I made a small table that matches the shed. Also, the hardware is good quality. Price: As I said, I don’t think I could have bought my own boards and supplies for a lower total cost. Support: Their email support to answer questions before the purchase and during the construction were timely, helpful and friendly. Believe me, I asked a lot of questions! The instructions were thorough. I also want to applaud the young couple that delivered the kit to my house. They were friendly and helpful.
