I love my pillow

I love my pillow. After spending at least a $1000 on pillows, this was by far the best and half the price I’ve spent on a single pillow. I wake up without neck pain and headaches!!!

Don’t buy

I didn’t like the pillow because it was hot and uncomfortable, and didn’t help with my neck pain. When I asked to return it, they offered me a 60% refund and didn’t want it returned. Reading some of the other reviews, it sounds like the return policy is pretty arbitrary and misleading.

On the heat: this was something we identified early on, which is why we developed the CoolCase, a cooling pillowcase now included by default with every Align Pillow order.

On neck pain: every body responds differently to cervical support, which is why we offer a 100-night sleep trial so customers can test the pillow risk-free at home.

On the refund: for hygiene reasons, we're unable to accept returns on used pillows — like most bedding brands, opened pillows cannot be resold or restocked.

ALIGN PLUS PILLOW 10/10

Just cant believe I have spent the past four years on new mattresses, many practioniers, MRI scans, osteopaths, chiropractors, massage therapists, dentists even and within one week the shift has been huge !!Not one of them even suggested change of pillow, I have had every symptom your site explains can occur trying to figure out why or how I had caused so much body pain from doing NOTHING.(as well as ringing in the ears, which was always worse when lying down, and of course kept getting told ear ringing is always worse at night because its quiet, but I kept saying, no mine is coming from somewhere in my body).

I altered all my computers both at home and at work, started to wear orthotic insoles in my shoes thinking maybe its from there, and became a person who stopped doing any physical exercise because the pain in my neck, shoulders, traps and noise in my ears would elevate with movement.

Anyway, your would not believe how thankful I am for such a massive shift since using the Align Pillow Plus, within 3 nights a big difference in morning aches and pains and as well as reduced noise in ears. Just cant believe it.

couldn't decide between 4 and 5 stars

I was a bit sceptical about buying a product largely promoted via social media, but IMO 50 quid odd is worth a punt if it helps me sleep better. Can't speak for everyone, but for me this product is definitely better than using a conventional pillow - and I have tried a few! However, I do think the pillow benefits back sleepers a little more than side sleepers (I'm both). But as the customer service was excellent when I had an issue with the pillow cover I’m giving it 5 stars.

Brilliant customer service

I definitely recommend the Align Pillow

The Align Pillow takes a little bit getting used to, but it has definitely helped with my nocturnal migraine. Dishonest Return Process & Total Accounting Chaos. Read before buying!

Do not be misled by the "100-Night Risk-Free Trial." My experience proved that this company uses predatory tactics and incompetent accounting to avoid giving full refunds.

​The Reality of the "Guarantee" is they
​invent fees. They tried to deduct a 30% "hygiene and shipping" fee. This fee is nowhere in their written Terms and Conditions. They simply make up rules to see if you’ll go away.
​Incompetent Accounting:
Their invoicing is a mess. My original invoice failed to add taxes to the total, even though they charged my card the full amount. When I cancelled part of the order, they issued a refund but failed to adjust the master invoice. They then tried to use that separate, earlier refund as an "excuse" to withhold nearly £30 from my final return, claiming I’d already been paid. They were essentially trying to "double-count" an old transaction to shortchange me on a new one.
​Hostile Customer Service:
Instead of being honest, helpful, and constructive, their team was aggressive and dismissive. They categorically told me I was "wrong" despite me having clear bank evidence that their maths didn't add up.

​Advice to others:
They bank on you being too confused or tired to fight. Don't let them. Cite the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, threaten a Section 75/Chargeback, and report them to Trading Standards. I got 100% of my money back only because I refused to let their "accounting errors" become my financial loss.

Reduced neck pain

My neck pain has dramatically improved & this was a pleasant surprise. A supportive pillow that actually works.

I’m a side sleeper, but with this pillow I often find myself more often on my back. Not sure if this is a good thing or not as at times this causes back ache.

The hand rest is in a comfortable position. I’m sure it’ll be fine in summer when it’s warmer at night. It’s too cold to leave out limbs in winter times!!

I was a bit sceptical ordering yet…

I was a bit sceptical ordering yet another thing to help decompress my back. That I’d be able to return it within a hundred days was a reassurance and I decided to try. To my surprise and delight, I started sleeping better from day one. Now it’s been a couple of month and my neck and shoulders that used to give me trouble are feeling mid relieved. I honestly didn’t expect six quick result. The pillow is very comfortable to die (again, I was surprised). So I’m happy I decided to get it - won’t use any other pillows now! (I’m now travelling for a month and wish I had it with me!)

Took a long time to arrive

Excellent pillows- highly recommend

My husband and I have been using these pillows for approximately three months. In our view, they do exactly what the marketing claims. Our sleep quality has improved and my ongoing neck condition/pain has also improved as a result.

Read the reviews then decide...

Received Somnora Align Pillow. No visible markings, branding or any other identifiable information. No information on how long to wait before it's fully functioning as it comes vacuum packed. Bought from Instagram. at double the price a similar one is on Amazon. Since first writing my original review Somnora have told me the item on Amazon is not their item and they are taking the issue up with Amazon. Somnora have apologised to me and said they did receive an email from me which they had originally missed. Since my original review they have now been in contact 2-3 times.

I originally ordered the pillow because I have neck issues, however as a side sleeper I also have an issue with my jaw at the point below my ear. The pillow was unsuitable as the "butterfly" shape is too pronounced on the pillows and pushed my jaw out of alignment. As others have said the refund policy is confusing but due to having a jaw issue and the pillow not being appropriate, I have been given a full refund, with the agreement that I would either take down my original review or amend it.

Footnote 1: my pillow as stated at the beginning of the review did not have any fibre composition, traceability or any comments regarding fire safety attached to it and whilst potential standards for fire safety are not regulated for pillows in the UK, the fact the pillow has no compliance labels at all, means there are likely to be compliance issues with early purchases of this pillow. Somnora have told me the labelling issues have been dealt with. I can't comment as I got one of their earlier pillows. Footnote 2: Since my original review: Somnora have made a concerted effort to build rapport and create good will. The full refund being evidence of their desire to try and keep customers happy. For this reason I have upgraded my review from 1 star to 3 stars. However others may not have been so fortunate. I think the key takeaway from all this, is to read the reviews and all the small print, be aware the pillow can't be returned, so essentially will be landfill if it's not suitable especially if there are no labels as it can't be donated to charity or gifted on to someone else, then decide if it's right for you.

Refund policy is jibberish

Having seen a facebook ad for this product I was tempted but checked here first. Glad I did. People saying only offered a partial refund. The company replied: I’d like to clarify one point for future readers regarding the refund mentioned in your review.

Our 100-night sleep trial is designed to allow customers to try the pillow properly at home, even after use. Because pillows are hygiene-sensitive items and cannot be physically returned or resold once used, the trial is fulfilled through a refund-based resolution rather than a physical return, which is why a partial refund is offered with no return required. This approach was already outlined in our refund policy at the time of purchase and is intended to spare customers the cost and inconvenience of returning bulky hygiene items.

So I carefully looked at the refund policy. It says:
The item must be in the same condition as received — unused, unworn, with tags, and in original packaging.
Proof of purchase is required (e.g. order number or receipt).
Exception: The Align Pillow™ and Align Pillow™ Elite are covered by our 100-night sleep trial, which allows you to request a refund within 100 days, even after use, under the terms of the trial.
Please note:

For hygiene and safety reasons, once opened or used, pillows, pillowcases, and bedding items cannot be physically returned.

Under the 100-night sleep trial, used Align Pillow™ and Align Pillow™ Elite products are not returned to stock. The trial is fulfilled through a refund-based resolution rather than a physical return.
So they seem to be using that phrase "refund based resolution" to only offer 50% on those 2 pillows?
It goes on to say...
Some items are not eligible for return, including but not limited to:

Personal care items that have been opened
Items that show any signs of use or modification
Products not purchased directly through somnora.co
Items from clearance sales, gift-with-purchase offers, or limited-time bundles

So if you buy items on offer they have a get out of jail card... and then just when you thought it was poor...
It also says
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you about the approval status. ...
But early it clearly said I'm not able to return a used pillow... so the approval status never progresses??
Thank you forresponding so quickly and confirming that there are 2 very different returns policies in play. So why not write your return policy very clearly under the 2 different headings to make it clear rather than what is a jumble of contradictory text at present which is open to interpretation. I would also strongly suggest you clarify what level of refund customers can expect is it 100%... 50% or nothing?

1. Standard returns vs. the 100-night sleep trial
Our standard returns process (unused items, inspection upon return, approval status, etc.) applies only where a physical return is possible.
The 100-night sleep trial is a separate mechanism that applies specifically to the Align Pillow™ after use. Because pillows are hygiene-sensitive items, used pillows cannot be physically returned or resold once opened.
For this reason, the sleep trial is fulfilled through a refund-based resolution rather than a physical return. This is why there is no “inspection after return” stage for used pillows, there is no return shipment to inspect.

2. What "refund-based resolution" actually means
This wording is not intended to obscure anything. It describes the process:
• Eligibility is confirmed by our team (including the minimum 7-night adjustment period)
• A partial refund is issued to account for product and fulfilment costs
• No physical return is required

Not as appears

I bought the Align Pillow, and tested it out for most of a month. I had initial concern with how flat the pillow was but I really wanted it to solve my neck and shoulder issues. Unfortunately, for me it didn't help my pain and stiffness, and has actually made my issues worse. Now my back is playing up so I am booking myself in with a Chiropractor.

I requested a full refund (as advertised when I bought it), but the company replied saying as of 20.11.25 they now only offer 50% refund, and I don't have to return the pillow.

Overall, I do not recommend buying from this company. The product arrived in poor packaging and no labels or branding to match claims in their website. Considering there are many other online companies who sell exactly the same design of pillow, this gives me doubts about the authenticity and professional nature of this company.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m genuinely sorry to hear that the pillow didn’t work for you and that your symptoms worsened — that’s certainly not the outcome we want for anyone.

I’d like to clarify one point for future readers regarding the refund mentioned in your review.

Our 100-night sleep trial is designed to allow customers to try the pillow properly at home, even after use. Because pillows are hygiene-sensitive items and cannot be physically returned or resold once used, the trial is fulfilled through a refund-based resolution rather than a physical return, which is why a partial refund is offered with no return required. This approach was already outlined in our refund policy at the time of purchase and is intended to spare customers the cost and inconvenience of returning bulky hygiene items.

Regarding packaging and branding, you received an earlier production batch. Since then, we’ve introduced fully branded packaging, clearer labelling, and additional quality checks across all shipments.

In parallel, based on broader customer feedback, we’ve also developed an upgraded model — the Align Pillow Plus — with refined foam density and support to address the most common comfort concerns raised over time. This reflects the ongoing improvements we’ve made as the product and brand have evolved.
