I couldn't even get to try Sora 2 ever myself and OpenAI decided to kill the generative AI

I love the idea of text to video and you can get some pretty amazing results. However, Here are some frustrations you'll run into while using sora 2 ai:

• Content violation creation error.
• Please try again we're under heavy load bs
• Can not create character because the kid or character might be relatable to a "real" individual.
• I've encountered issues where the videos do not play when scrolling through them almost like leg.
• 1 in 3 generations might actually be useable.
• Water mark logo is obnoxious and you can’t get rid of it even on a paid account. You can get around this dribble by using third party websites that specialize in this feature.
• Phone number verification. This is total bs and it is saying my real number the only number I have is invalid. This is bs.

Not only are these errors incredibly frustrating it detures me from using the website all together. I was super excited when I gained access through it when my wait period ended and was sent an access link from sora 2. I was excited at first then began to quickly run into the issues I listed above. I’m on month 6 now and decided to say to hell with it. I miss Hailuo and their daily free credits. Their ai vid was better in my opinion now it’s hidden behind a pay wall and nerfed. Sora 2 will drive you crazy with constant content violation bs and many of the vids I make shouldn’t even do that. Then their ai looks on the web and uses copyrighted content from pixar and other styles of animation to make their videos. So you can literally make pixar style clones and vids using correct prompts. I don’t get it.

Alright, tell me how people are getting these ai shorts to go viral on youtube and the creators can earn thousands from them? I’ve tried a few they looked amazing then people down voted them saying they were retarded? I don’t get it. I’m so fed up with the errors of sora 2 that I probably won’t use it for a while. You get 10 free credits a day and that’s enough for a 100 second video or roughly a 1.7 min video. You get 30 free monthly credits once a month and frankly this website isn’t worth it. If you can exploit content creation for YouTube it’s great but you have to be very specific in how you generate your videos to get really good content. Other wise you’ll get ai slop. I multi account and it lets me get around the daily 10 a day limit and even then the system fights me. Sora 2 isn't worth all the hype it's cracked up to be. Once the honeymoon phase wears off on society others will see this eventually.

I am extremely disappointed with Sora and feel misled by what is being advertised versus what you actually get.

With a Plus subscription costing €25 per month, it is suggested that you can create unlimited images. However, in reality, I am being restricted after roughly 20 images and then blocked for at least 24 hours. That directly contradicts the idea of “unlimited.”

On top of that, generating good results often requires multiple attempts because the images do not always match the prompt accurately. Small adjustments are necessary to achieve the desired outcome, but every single attempt counts toward the limit. This means you quickly run out of your supposed “unlimited” usage without actually being able to properly create what you need.

For this price, I expect transparency and honest communication about any limitations. If there are usage caps, they should be clearly stated instead of suggesting the service is unlimited. At the moment, the value for money feels very poor, and it is frustrating to pay for a service that is so heavily restricted.

Screw the 2-step verification requirement. It doesn't even "register" my "real" genuine numbers as real numbers and it keeps saying "fake". Really, these are my only two numbers I own.

The video generations seem to be 1:3 that are actually useable so you end up waiting most of your credits trying to get a video to generate where you can actually use it. I honestly would not recommend buying credits because if it screws it up you're screwed. I'll never buy credits.

Screw the invite only option. I have multiple gmail accounts to get around the daily limit bs and the server fights me every step of the way. I'm getting fed up with most of the text to video ai being hidden behind pay walls. or the credits are so limited it's barely useable.

generating images for a children's book. what you get:
1. violent images in the background.
2. 3 feet.
3. sexual content eg penis on an ant, nipple on a 8 year old girl.
4. whitening of dark skinned people.
5. intentional dehumanizing images.
the list goes on and on and on.

mind you, in a children's book with a white girl I was done within 4 hours. With a black girl I am in week 4 of getting the correct images.

I made several videos with it and it works fine! I have no idea why its not working for others but its fine for me!
Although there is a video gens limit for free users but that makes sense because it actually costs alot to run it because they have to make lots of frames for lots of users. And it sometimes flags videos for no reason.

This would've been a 5 Star Rating however this App has been what I would consider seriously malfunctioning as of late. Anything I type although it is the EXACT SAME THING I have bn typing since 1st use, is being denied/flagged for the Content, and The Flags/Denials make ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE AT ALL!!!!!!!!! As it is the same verbiage I have been using ther entire time and have 60 + other videos with the exact same verbiage on the app.....it is beyond frustrating especially since now there are hundreds if not thousands of People that have actually begun watching the content, I was initially ecstatic now this is one of the worst let downs ever, and the fact that you can NOT speak to anyone except a BOT in Support makes it even worse!!!
2-3 months later and STILL SAME THING....SMH This is from February 2026...I had to come back and add more to this...so the Support provided is also an AI Chatbot that gives generic answers and the main one is to DELETE and REINITIATE Your Profile which is ignorant and not a HELP at all. I definitely am reviewing other apps that are better. I really though this app was good at 1st....SMH

There are quite a number of bad reviews where the bad experiences has been described in the finest detail. I'm not even going to waste time with that.

Just amazing how Sora2 are still part of the Heygen app, and nobody cares to do anything about it.

I subscribed to Sora at $15 per week after all the hype about “Hollywood-quality video in seconds.” I didn’t wing it — the prompts were generated by ChatGPT, not me. I even made things simpler by leaving out text, music, and editing, because I planned to add those myself later in iMovie. All I needed was the core video.

Attempt 1:
I asked for a 20-second cinematic trailer. What I got back was a 6-second unusable mess. Not the length I asked for, not the quality promised, but it still burned 300 credits (about $4 NZD).

Attempt 2 (completely different video, completely different prompt):
My account showed 800 credits left from the original 1,120. I didn’t retry the same thing — I started fresh with a totally separate video idea and a different prompt. But instead of using my balance, Sora immediately blocked me with a demand for another $29.99 for 1,000 credits.

It never told me how many credits the second video would cost. It didn’t matter that I had credits left — the system simply refused to use them. The reality is this: your $15 weekly subscription only gets you ONE video attempt. After that, you’re locked out and forced into paying more.

Other Issues:
• You can’t reliably upload your own images unless you use clunky pre-set templates.
• The platform hides the true credit costs until your balance is gone.
• You end up paying for failed outputs, then immediately face a $29.99 upsell before you can even try again.

This isn’t AI creativity, and it’s not even an honest subscription. It’s a predatory credit scam. You pay $15 every week, get one broken clip, and then your account is held hostage for more money.

Avoid at all costs.

Sono abbonata a ChatGPT Plus e utilizzo Sora per lavoro. Fino a pochi giorni fa riuscivo a scaricare regolarmente i video generati (fino a 10 secondi / 720p), come indicato nella documentazione ufficiale di OpenAI.

Improvvisamente non posso più scaricare nulla: ogni volta il sistema resta bloccato su “Preparazione del video”. Ho provato tutti i passaggi di troubleshooting (browser diversi, cache/cookie svuotati, modalità incognito, reti e dispositivi diversi), ma il problema persiste.

Il supporto è stato pessimo: ho ricevuto risposte contraddittorie (prima che i download fossero solo per Pro, poi che invece Plus poteva scaricare ma il mio caso era un bug). Questa incoerenza, unita alla mancanza di una tempistica chiara, mi ha bloccato il lavoro per giorni, causandomi gravi disagi professionali.

In più, il piano Sora Pro ha un costo esorbitante, molto più alto di altre piattaforme concorrenti che offrono funzionalità simili a prezzi decisamente più accessibili. Non è accettabile togliere o bloccare funzioni agli utenti paganti e poi spingerli verso un upgrade così costoso.

Se la situazione non verrà risolta in tempi rapidi, annullerò l’abbonamento e lascerò ulteriori recensioni negative.

I joined ChatGPT Premium not only to use it for analysis and writing, but especially for image generation. Honestly, Sora is the worst. I spend hours improving prompts, and the results are disastrous. I even use ChatGPT to improve them, but it's useless. It still gives me terrible results. I use it for simple things, and it's still disappointing. I don't recommend it.

After spending hours on Soraai chatpgt It felt like I was swallowed up into a nightmare of hell trying to use this software. From the most simplest of changes to a pre existing video. Hours of wasted time and many, many, many, many , many renders. Just for a women on a massage table getting and sound therapy session. Hands upside down. Two figures opposite each other stuck together from there torso . Asking to keep exact video and just remove sound waves. Nope cant do that either. From very simple to very explicit it would not render the videos correctly . Hours doing this to get one video that might work.Nope Hours. To hire a model for 15 minutes and just film her myself and put in the effects myself would make life a dream but this ai video maker is like it came from the depth of hell. Looks like it will be amazing but it starts to eat you up alive. This is the feeling
I am left with. and of course Microsoft hand is in at and it is about as good as its copilot which is another sick nightmare of a ai. Does not seem like this technology is good for mankind. Seems so far like quite the opposite. BEWARE ! This truly from my heart feels demonic. Something is very wrong.

It's okay, it's just when I use it, it is very difficult to make a perfect image generation.
