Spade is a boutique corporate services firm. We have been advising businesses for over twenty years, and we work from three offices: Singapore, Dubai, and Mohali in India. We handle the finance and compliance side of running a company. That covers accounting and tax, statutory compliance and corporate secretarial work, company incorporation, and virtual CFO support for businesses that want senior financial oversight without hiring for it full time. Most of our clients operate in more than one of our markets, or are planning to. A Singapore company with a Dubai subsidiary is dealing with two sets of rules at once, and usually two sets of advisers who have never spoken to each other. We work across all three markets from one team, so the person handling your Singapore filings knows what is happening with your UAE registration. Being boutique changes how this feels in practice. You deal with the people doing the work rather than an account manager relaying questions to someone you never meet. We answer in plain language, and we tell you about deadlines in advance rather than in the week they fall. We are not the cheapest option available and we do not try to be. Clients usually come to us when their compliance load has outgrown a bookkeeper, when a filing has been missed, or when they are entering a market where the rules are unfamiliar and the penalties are not.
