I never even purchased it and they charged my credit card $51.00 2 times, don't even go on the website

Do not buy. Cheap and nasty. Requires adapters which make it bulky. On set up, my speed in rooms reduced from 90mbps to 30mbps.
On complaining they offered a 20% discount or I could pay another $100 to ship and cancel. Stupidly I took the discount but it’s no good for me so I’m out of pocket. I have complained again but nothing back.

Product was advertised at A$69.95 but my credit card was charged US$60.66 to Northstar and $94.85 to Primetimetrends.com. Luckily my bank stopped these payments until they contacted me. A TOTAL SCAM!!

I wish I had of read these reviews first! They came up as the best and so on. It kept asking me for addons, some were free. Fast tracked the order but no final sign of what I was actually paying. Whilst the order was being processed American Express Fraud stopped one of the payments (why it was broken up I do not know, but there were trying to charge me for something that was supposed to be free) American Exp. Fraud then called me and they stopped payment on everything, which they did. But the price was a lot more than advertised, no real receipt to break it down. I sent Speedtech an email to stop order and payment, and to date no response. I did receive the product just waiting for them to contact me. It doesn't look great so I'm not bothering to install it. 10 stars for American Express!

This company is a rip off. I hadn't even finalized my order yet they pushed it through. Charged me more than advertised price. Product doesn't work. Would give zero stars if I could.

If I could put zero stars I would. This site is a complete scam DO NOT buy from them. They put my order thru without me even confirming order, no shipping details , nothing. Couldn’t get back to basket to cancel it. Have written to them, no response. Have had to cancel card as bank contacted me re suspected fraud. Please please don’t buy from them

Purchased 2 WIFI boosters online from this compny. They charged my credit card approx $40 more than the price they advertised and didnt provide an itemised receipt or invoice despite numerous requests via email for it. They just never respond.
Do not trust them

This company pushed through an order that I cancelled before it was confirmed, and even though I have written to them every day since 22 July, they never answer. Immediately after looking at the device and almost pressing confirm to purchase, I went backwards and did not complete the purchase. Within minutes they emailed to say order was confirmed and I told them immediately to cancel. I repeated that letter for two days unanswered, asking for confirmation of cancellation, and they still say they have shipped it, but never respond to emails. Their website says you can return but have to contact them first, but they never answer. It's just a scam.

Diabolical company. Product never arrived. Courier tracking has no relation to reality. Customer service an insult. Now 100AUD down the tube,

As with others, I have only now managed to find genuine reviews of this product (and company) and it is too late. They are crooks and the company is bogus. Can't understand why our consumer protection law allows this repeated scamming of individuals. Lesson learned here!

I saw '5 top wifi boosters' and it seemed ok. I purchased only 1 ($36 if I remember correctly) but was billed for $132.97 (£69.04 -> it was advertised by an Aussie and advertised in AUD$). Unable to connect on phone; one email bounced, another said high volume of customer enquiries etc so expect delays in replying. Fed up with these crooks.

I cant believe I rushed to buy this. Usually I do my due diligence but this time I just purchased it as I couldn't see any other reviews coming up on google.
They purchased and optimised their SEO so you dont see the bad reviews.
I plugged it in and all it does is light up.

What a terrible item on every way. Same day despatch, it took 4 weeks to arrive.
Followed the install instructions, it gave me an electric shock, and surprise surprise, didn't work.
And that full customer support, money back guarantee- guess what, they never replied to my emails.
Do NOT purchase.

Absolute rubbish. Does not work. No amount of factory resetting will work. Support is non-existent.

Avoid like the plague.

This device is SCAM.
It's barely alive.
Installed a 2m from the Router and produce a miserable 30mbps.
The modem is transmitting 110mbps on WiFi.
It is Impossible to get your money back.
The support will have you factory resetting the unit until you give up.
Everything on their advert page is a lie.
From price, shipping, speed, capabilities of unit, money back guarantee.
Word of advice, stay away from speedtechwifi and get WiFi Booster unit from your own country where they stand behind the product.
Also, I tried calling their support number that conveniently just disconnects +353 1-800-903-214. Try and you'll see it doesn't work.
As mentioned earlier, this is a SCAM.

Don’t do it. They are scammers. I didn’t purchase my product I put the card details in but never confirmed it. They went ahead and made the purchase on my behalf without my knowledge.

I emailed instantly asking to cancel it and they said it had already been shipped. I then had to pay the return shipping and they took a 10% restocking fee off it. They are scammers and the product is probably poor to.

I ordered it and canceled the order online within minutes. Turns out they shipped it to me!!! I returned it and they kept the shipping costs even though I canceled the order within minutes of placing it. Not fair. I don't think there's anything special about this Speed Tech WiFi booster. Forbes recommends Netgear EX7500.

Well to start with a $95 dollar charge was a red flag and the failed sent message return to my email box is enough for me.
I'm concerned that these sites are allowed to operate and steal from people expecting a reputable company and prompt product delivery.
This is intentional misrepresentation of a product and it's price.

Scam!! I didn't buy, but the product can clearly look like one !!! Lol
