Thank you for sharing your perspective. Our members come from many different backgrounds, spiritual paths, lifestyles, and stages of life. Some are deeply ecological activists, some are nature lovers, some are meditators or yogis, some are more traditionally spiritual or religious, and others are simply kind-hearted people seeking a more conscious relationship than they’ve found on mainstream dating apps.

We’ve never claimed that every member shares identical beliefs or definitions of spirituality, environmentalism, or conscious living. In fact, one of the beautiful things about our community is its diversity of thought and experience.

It’s also important to remember that deciding whether or not to have children is a deeply personal choice. Many environmentally conscious people hold differing views on that subject, and we respect those differences.

After 26 years online and thousands of success stories, we know that meaningful, authentic, spiritually-oriented relationships absolutely do happen here. And like any dating community, compatibility depends not only on the site itself, but also on openness, communication, attitude, and mutual resonance between individuals.

I’d like to offer some clarity around our intention. We have deep respect for our members and for the vulnerability it takes to show up in a space like this. Our goal is always to communicate with honesty, compassion, and support — including when we’re speaking about realities such as regional activity levels, which can understandably feel discouraging at times. It is never our intention to “slam” or blame our members.

The reality of any niche dating site is that activity naturally varies by location. Some areas have larger concentrations of like-minded singles, while others are quieter. When we share this with members, the intention is transparency, not dismissal.

Because of this, we consistently encourage openness to long-distance connections. In fact, the majority of our long-term success stories began as long-distance relationships.

I’d also like to note, for clarity, that we are unable to find a matching account under your name, and it appears that you are not a member of Spiritual Singles. While we can’t control whether individual members choose to reply, we do work hard to maintain a respectful community, remove inappropriate profiles, and support members who report discourteous behavior.

The “Remember me” option will remember your username or email for easier future access. You can also save your login credentials in your browser for a quick, one-click login experience.

As for messaging, here’s how our Free vs. Paid features work:
• If you receive a free “Hello,” you can reply with a free “Hello.”
• If you receive a personally written message from a paid member, you can reply with your own personalized message.
• Free members can only reply to incoming messages — once per message — and the subscriber must send another message for you to reply again.

This information is posted in multiple areas of the site for transparency, including:
— The Free vs. Paid page
— The Join page (scroll down)
— The How It Works page

We’ve always designed our model to be as generous as possible — only one person needs to subscribe for two people to connect, which is rare in online dating.

Our site is more of a take action kind of site. We encourage you to contact those you are interested in, as it only takes one! A week is barely any time, too! Give it a chance, and be open to meeting someone outside of your area, as most of our success stories start out being long-distance.

Our members are really our best feature! And, yes, the site is not that modern, we are working on a full redesign (again). Since we have been online since the year 2000, almost 26 years, we have had many redesigns over the decades, and we will have more! In the meantime, the site works very well for meeting someone special, and we stand behind our thousands of success stories.

We do our best to foster authentic connections and provide our members with a great deal of info on each member, to help with screening and matching. As you've probably noticed, our profiles are super in-depth, and we don't have any superficial swiping. All members can search the database of members and contact whomever they like. It's a bit old school, and most of our members appreciate all of the details and options we provide. Hopefully, once you get used to it, you will too!
