Been using Spondoo for over 4 years now. What I like is that they have progressively improved each year as they have developed their reporting and auto-feeds. It's actually very seamless.

I also like the hands-off approach. I get the team reminding me in good time, and then the pressure is on for me to kick-start the process, and they take over the majority of the legwork.

It's what I need from a small business, as I need to focus on the company and not the accounts side.

Recommended if you want a straightforward process.

I've been with Spondoo from my start as a sole trader, and they then dealt with becoming a ltd company, registering for VAT (flat rate and then progressing on to standard), and all the accounting changes that have come with that.
I've had previous accountants where I've just been a file to update once a year when accounts are due, but Spondoo is very different to that. I've got personal emails of people to contact on various matters, and it's down to them that I understand my accounts rather than just providing them with the information blind. Would highly recommend.
