A genuinely excellent experience.

I've used a few different services in the past, but none have been quite as efficient as Spring.

Less than 24 hours after posting the pre-paid Pouch back to them, I received my valuation (which was as estimated) and the funds were instantly transferrable. My device was kept in a case and screen protector for its entire life, so it was nice to know Spring didn't unreasonably lowball me after receiving the product.

The only point of note is although the website reads "Free, pre-paid Royal Mail Special Delivery", the return provided for me was Tracked 24. Not a problem in the end, but worth pointing out!

Overall, extremely impressed and will be recycling unwanted tech with Spring in the future.

I completed the survey, honestly describing the phone according to the questions asked. There is one small scratch on the front screen, but other than that it is immaculate, so I described it as "some signs of use", which is one of their drop-down options. Was given an estimated value of £563, so sent the phone in to them. They inspected it, claimed that there was damage to the screen and edges, and reduced the guaranteed value to £447. Waste of time sending it in, just to be given a lowball offer on a spurious assessment of its condition.

Amazing, no fuss, straightforward, would definitely use again

Having recently sold a phone through Spring and received excellent service , I decided to purchase a refurbished iPhone 10 to replace one I brought from another company that I had to return due to the condition off their excellent condition phone.
The one I purchased from Spring arrived quickly and was in as new condition with a battery health of 100% , it updated to iOS 17 with no issues , no sim tray pin included which was not a problem for me but perhaps could be added as an option in the checkout process.

Sold an iPhone 14 pro max in good condition, so had some minor wear and tear. Apple store offered £630 gift card for trade in. Spring quoted £678 online but only offered £578 after sending in. If the condition rating is so prescriptive maybe it should be detailed in the selling phase of the process to asses the phone a near 20% drop in value is quite harsh.

Sale was quick. The device was knocked down on price, it was used and there was wear and tear but fully functional. I was surprised to be knocked down so much for something I couldn’t see even in the evidence pictures that were provided.

Thoroughly satisfied. Spring were offering the best value based on the condition of my phone. Pouch arrived 2 days after I filled in the details, with comprehensive instructions and advice about taking photos etc. I packaged up the phone and sent it the same day, (Prepaid 24hr Royal Mail tracked label sent in the pouch) within 24 hours the tech review had been done and the guaranteed value (the same value as offered) was in my bank. Would highly recommend and definitely will be using again.

Sent them a brand new phone. They initially offered £630, then when I got the report they said everything was perfect apart from the glass was “slightly used” which is a complete lie. From just this one thing they reduced their offer all the way down to £473. Took the money anyway because I need it but won’t be selling with spring again.
