Thanks for the positive feedback, and pleased that your recovery from shoulder surgery was assisted with SQUID GO - adding the Shoulder Wrap and Gel Pack to the existing Leg/Knee Unit that your family already had acquired previously. And yes, the travel aspect and portability of SQUID GO is being mentioned to us often, as clients sending in and posting photos from European ski resorts (as well as at least a few coming in from Canada as well - a personal favourite of mine :) Terry

We agree with you that SQUID GO shines with it's portability, and powerful lithium ion battery meaning you can use it for more than 25 fifteen minute sessions before you need to recharge it via a USB cable. As you mention, by purchasing a unit months prior to surgery, you are able to manage your osteoarthritis (OA), minimising use of painkillers, and get used to a rhythm of how often and when you "SQUID". As for your compliments about the Customer Service, it is why we are running the business as a 'boutique business', with a very hands on approach. Love speaking to potential clients, prior to purchase, to answer any questions that people have. I am passionate about the product, as well as the efficacy and convenience SQUID GO provides - at a reasonable and affordable price point for a Premium product. Although £500 is an investment in your personal wellness, in terms of managing ACL/Knee pathologies even prior to any surgery, SQUID GO is much more cost effective than any other Premium Cold Compression product on the market. The fact you have added a Shoulder Wrap and Gel Pack to use with the SQUID GO unit you own, once more, highlights our Value proposition. Health + Wellness! Terry

Most important to us, is that every person interested in cold compression therapy prior to, or after surgery, is able to make an informed decision as parting with £500 or so, is a pretty serious investment in one's wellbeing. In your role(s) as a private school and London based private physio, you have the unique insight to see SQUID GO being used pitch side on rugby days, lent to students/players over weekends, and also treating private patients in clinic in Central London... again, thanks for making time to comment and highlighting the Value proposition of SQUID GO

Love the fact that as a business owner, you see that value in buying SQUID GO units for use in your clinic (versus the other options for Premium Quality Cold Compression Therapy systems, which are water and ice based, and retail for well over £3,200 to purchase, and between £275 and close to £400/month to hire). It is a pleasure for us to personally deliver units to new clients (Patients of yours) that choose to buy their own units after seeing them in your clinic, seeing as they live within a 5 mile radius of our home based warehouse. Thanks for sharing sir. Always great to get favourable feedback from consultant surgeons about the benefits of SQUID GO. We have several elderly clients that are telling us that their management of arthritic pain in their hands/wrists is decreased (not eliminated, yet decreased) temporarily by using the SQUID GO wrist unit. This allows them to decrease/eliminate the use of painkillers, which for everyone, has long terms positive benefits. Thanks again

Thanks for the feedback on the purchase of the LEG/Knee SQUID GO unit in early February 2025, and the 2 additional Gel Packs that you purchased 6 weeks later in order to maximise the 'super cold SQUIDDING time' duiring your surgical rehabilitation. In fact, so many people have told us that they benefit from having a 2nd Gel Pack, that as standard, we now offer a 20% discount on additional Gel Packs to people that are buying a SQUID GO unit. Thanks again for sharing and your updates on your recovery from multiple surgeries - again, highlighting the Value that a SQUID GO purchase makes, versus the alternative of hiring a different premium quality cold compression device. As you shared recently, being able to lend your unit to a family member after their own knee surgery, highlights the Value of owning a premium quality cold compression device, versus hiring one, for 4 weeks at a time... at a fairly similar price point.

Thanks for making time to share your honest thoughts on the TRUSTPILOT page that was recently set up (October 1st, 2025) here in UK.

I see that overall, you like and respect the USP of the SQUID GO ('practical and easy'), however feel that the durability of the product is "horrible".

My name is Terry Byca, and I became the UK distributor in December 2024, so almost 11 months ago now. From the records that I acquired from the previous distributor (who was selling SQUID and SQUID GO in UK since 2014), I see you purchased your KNEE Squid Go unit on February 10, 2022.

As you hopefully know, all of the components come with a 1 year full warranty - so I am curious if you ever contacted the people you purchased Squid Go from, if the first Gel Pack began leaking "within a year" (?) Since taking over the distribution, I have had a very small number of complaints, and was able to resolve them quickly to the satisfaction of the Customer/Client each time.

You also mention that you had to glue the valve back to the compression wrap, yet didn't mention the time frame, so curious if that was also within the first year, and if you ever tried to contact the distributor you purchased from.

As for the Pump unit, I am surprised that you say that "the motor seems unable to inflate anymore". What exactly is happening? Do you get an error message(s)? Is the Pump fully charged? (I have sent you an email, asking for this information from the info@squidgo.co.uk account - along with my WhatsApp number in case you prefer to speak live.)
My focus is on Customer satisfaction and I take it very seriously.

I have a pump I bought from the previous distributor that is 11 years old and working perfectly as I use it for my demos... we have a Welsh International female football/soccer player that has been using SQUID GO for her ankle for at least 5 years and everything is still working perfectly... she bought an extra LEG/Knee wrap and Gel Pack as she prepared in June for the Euros 2025 championships... a physio (Dave F) formerly of Blackpool Rovers tells me he has pumps from 10 years ago and wraps still in use... etc etc..

And yes, sometimes things do break, and go wrong... and I take care of the Customers immediately.

Again, thanks for making time to send in your honest review - it is the reason that I set up the page, in order for ALL clients to share their experiences with others... it is only this way that people/companies/products, can improve, (if they want to).

Thanks for sharing your experience. It was good to realise that your daughter preferred the KNEE wrap, over the LEG/Knee wrap, due to it being more contoured to the knee, and easier to take off, due to having (far) less Velcro.
