the game is fun and I like it but if you don't but star rider or star coins you will run our of quests and not really have anything to do I have quest left (no star rider) but I need a pony which requires the purchase of star coins which is sad so I find it boring to play now

I'm a player for 9 years now and the game is getting worse and worse. The support is not even responding for my email i sent twice a month ago, because of this 2 step verification i cannot even log into my account because the email i used back then for the account is lost. They are not even looking at my email or something, they dont even release story quests, maybe after 3 months or so, and they turning it into a moneygrabbing game. Almost every new is some purchaseable items that u can buy with ur money...

The game could've turned out so much better with a better story..

I have been a star stable player since 2018 when I was 12 years old. The game used to be fun and full of character, with somewhat interesting quests, area releases, and frequent starcoin and star rider coders to keep players engaged. The game back then had its own distinctive style and was unlike any other game, with new horses every 3 or more months that kept the anticipation around them being released. Fast forward to now, the game looks like a shitty fortnite ripoff. The characters look like large toddlers and none of the clothes fit them well. Every new horse looks the same as the last and the animations get stiffer each time. There's a new horse every 3 weeks and no one gets excited anymore, it's become "omg there's a new horse next week!" to "oh, another horse." not to mention the bugs make this game halfway unplayable. Either make the game cheaper to play for lifetime or reconsider your updates. Apalling.

Ist ohnehin eine Frechheit dies nicht eigenständig ändern zu können im System. Ist ja schließlich ein Low Budget Spiel, mit absolut ull Support und Gehirn!

please stop complaining, its a good game, yes it cost maybe way too much but how do you Guys Think they edit the game..? they need to hire people who edit the game so it cost money. good game overall.

ich bin sehr enttäuscht von der richtung, in die dieses spiel gerade geht...
der content bleibt für wortwörtlich JAHRE auf der strecke, währendessen der profit aufs ganze maximiert wird.
überteuerte ausrüstung und kleidung, teure haustiere, die absolut NICHTS können außer neben dir herzulaufen, und natürlich pferde, für die man ausschließlich echt geld bezahlen muss, sind die absolute priorität.
die quests, die story rund um die insel Jorvik, der content, der spielspaß – und ganz wichtig – DIE SPIELER werden schon seit JAHREN nach ganz hinten geschoben und/oder ignoriert.
mit jedem neuen update kriegt man immer mehr das gefühl übermittelt, dass sie uns definitiv nicht zuhören. unser feedback ist erst dann von wert, wenn es direkt dem umsatz dient. also welche pferde und andere teure kosmetik wir gerne im spiel hätten!! ദ്ദി◝ ⩊ ◜ )
auf negatives feedback der playerbase wird erst dann gehört, sobald sie ernsthafte maßnahmen ergreifen... eine große menge an spielern kritisieren und boykottieren das spiel schon seit einer langen weile.
entweder loggen sie sich selten bis gar nicht mehr ein, um die DAU (Daily Active Users) zu beeinflussen, oder bezahlen direkt absolut gar nichts mehr.

... und TROTZ ALL DEM hören sie in den meisten fällen immer noch nicht.

ich hatte immer das gefühl, dass das spiel nie versuchen musste junge leute zu empowern oder sich special fühlen zu lassen.
das hat es einfach – weil es junge mädchen ernst genug genommen hat, um zu verstehen, dass sie ein spannendes, durchdachtes mystery spiel verdient haben.
heute ist es einfach nur noch unangenehm. dieser neue "wir pinken pferdemädchen XD"-vibe ist maximal stereotypisch und herabwürdigend.
wir waren einst krieger auf einem pferd, falls sie sich überhaupt daran erinnern...

ich habe gehofft, dass sich die dinge jetzt vielleicht ändern werden. das neue gebiet Marchenghast ist design technisch SEHR gut gelungen – man hatte das gefühl, dass auf die spieler gehört wurde und man sich jetzt wieder an dem originalen kern des spiels orientieren würde.
in den blogposts wurde uns immer wieder davon erzählt, wie sehr das team die düsteren, originalen vibes selbst vermisst...
aber scheinbar geht es wieder von vorne los.

- wir wollen keine Fortnite replika grafiken
- wir wollen kein spiel, welches so sein will wie jedes andere
- wir wollen kein spiel, welches sich selbst und seine spieler nicht ernst nimmt
- wir wollen kein spiel, welches seinen eigenen wert lächerlich reduziert
- wir wollen kein halbherziges projekt

das spiel ist mittlerweile eine einzige baustelle – oder ein unfall, je nach dem...
die pferde werden immer realistischer während sie durch eine plastik welt laufen.
das interface allein hat 5 verschiedene artstyles, weil das spiel einfach nicht mehr weiß, was es sein soll.
updates werden in stufen rausgegeben (und teilweise wartest du für die restlichen stufen mehrere jahre).
der eigene spieler charakter ist maximal unfertig und STÄNDIG in der kritik seit seinem release vor DREI JAHREN.
viele spieler sind absolut unzufrieden mit der neuen richtung des spiels...
aber ich bin mir SEHR sicher, dass die developer wieder etwas wunderschönes aus diesem spiel machen könnten, wenn man sie lassen würde.

Star Stable Online ist heute da, wo es ist, wegen dem, was es einmal war.
die nummern sinken, weil es dieses spiel so nicht mehr gibt.

sie können sich aus panik bis aufs maximum auf die aggressiven FOMO-taktiken stürzen, die auslöschung der eigenen identität priorisieren, versuchen, so zu sein wie jeder andere, die eigene community ins lächerliche ziehen...
aber wann werden sie endlich verstehen, dass das das problem ist?

sie können die neueren story quests für die neu gewählte, sehr junge zielgruppe absolut weichspülen, aber zu diesen quests werden sie nie kommen, weil sie bis dahin schon 10 andere spiele entdeckt haben.

wie man eine loyale, freiwillig aufs abo obendrauf zahlende playerbase für kurzfristig schnellen profit ersetzen kann, werde ich niemals nachvollziehen können.

das war nicht schlau.

mehr als schade, was aus diesem spiel geworden ist.

Appalling service and rip off. My daughter bought yearlong account while on holidays and never realised it was a different region (the game). Ive contacted many times to ask them to refund or change region - no answer, no contact whatsoever. There is no way of getting refund through them - i now have to go to the bank to open a dispute

I don’t think this game is kid-friendly
At first I thought this was a kid friendly app and a nice fantasy world but I was wrong on:

I worry about the reviews on bad language and bad intentions for my child. The way those 'filters’ work (and if they work) is not clear, plus the game is ridiculously expensive! My child is a star rider and pays 13$ plus the 3-months subscription. And keeps wanting extra star coins but I keep telling them “no” because it costs from 79.99$- 4.99$. I do not recommend this game, as it’s trying to steal your money and seeing many of these reviews a lot of people agree. It also takes a long time to download and download new features. What I worry about the most is the private chat in the club and global chat. I will delete this app immediately.

Honestly, i think its time to shut star stable down. Ive been playing for 7 years in a month and its turned from the best decision of my life to a money grab that only wants you to pay and is phasing old players out. Its fun to play if ur under 8 or above 30, since it got taken over by a new company the target audience drastically changed and ruined the entire Game.

The marketing of this game is entirely corrupt. It was a slow decline over the years, where the CEO and higher ups of the company saw an opportunity for a low effort trash marketing exploit of new short term players over improving the actual gameplay. Eventually the entire market of new players will dry up and the game is destined to fail.

A giant scam with a toxic fandom.
The game protome itself as FREE but then what do you get? "oh you need to pay a subcription to actually play the full game" that's a scam "But tHeY SaId It" no they didn't, they word it in a way to make you think you just can't go past level 5, playing on words like that is still a scam, they could've made the game paid to begin with like the rest. Also the arguement of "they need money from the subcription" is BS, y'all said to have paid the LIFETIME like 10 years ago! They don't make profit of what's been already paid, they get their money from the Star coins, so yes the Star rider thing shouldn't exist.
Alos, you and I both know they demographic are KIDS, they don't have money. You were once the same with parents that refused, so quit the hypocrisy.

I absolutely loved this game as a kid; I started playing between 2011 and 2014 and instantly fell in love. Recently, I decided to revisit one of my favorite childhood games, but unfortunately, it’s turned into a massive monopoly and cash grab. Animal Jam, Club Penguin, and Fortnite all handle microtransactions better than this. Back then, a membership was pretty affordable at around $10 a month; now it’s $30 for a single horse skin. That means you either wait months after buying a subscription—whether lifetime or monthly—or spend $30–$50 on an item that doesn’t even impact gameplay or story. I’ll keep playing, but it’s going to take months of grinding just to get one thing. And the lifetime sub is now $79.99 (it used to be $30 when I first started), which is more than most console games. Never meet your heroes, kids.

Despite Star Stable's "zero tolerance" policy announced for 2025, the reality is a complete lack of legitimate customer service. Cheaters using third-party programs dominate race leaderboards with impossible times, humiliating honest players who have invested thousands of dollars into their accounts. Even with documented reports, SSO's support takes months to respond or simply sends automated "copy-paste" replies claiming they are "investigating deeply," which is clearly untrue as hackers remain active for months. Meanwhile, issues like account sharing and illegal account sales are ignored, while legitimate paying consumers are forced to abandon their accounts due to a lack of security and support. It is unacceptable to treat loyal customers this way while letting cheaters break the game's economy and competitive integrity. That negligence happening since 2023..

Star Stable won't let me play the game. I have sign in two times and it only sends me to the my account page every time I click play.

This game used to be so good. Yeah, the chosen one plot is done often but it worked! We used to be important: the fifth Soul Rider, the next incarnation of Aideen, the hero of the story and we were damn pretty to boot. Now we are Soul Moron's slave who has no personalty, no backstory, no free will and no reason to even still be on the island outside of mommy and daddy were tired of us so they dumped us in Jorvik and screwed off, hell given that we look lioke 9-12 year old child (that is also 6 feet tall and look like unholy abomination so yeah I sadly stop blaming our parents for child abandonmant) we have no business riding unsupervised, but common sense left SSO LONG time ago. And don't even get mr started on our "updated" avatars; it's straight-up horse crap, and even gaddamn EA wouldn't dare ever to publish so unfinished and awful-looking, would shuld tell you everything about SSE standards and what they think about their players. Our old avatars might have been crsty but I would take them back over this garbage any day. I never felt so ugly playing a game.

I tried to stay patient with Star Stable for a long time because I genuinely loved the game and wanted to believe the developers would eventually listen to the community. But after seeing the same bugs exist for a very long period of time — bugs older players were already reporting long before I even joined — it honestly became frustrating and disappointing. Instead of focusing on fixing the game, improving core quests, or responding properly to criticism, it feels like the company constantly prioritises releasing more horses and paid content to keep money flowing in. What hurts most is seeing players called “ungrateful” for being upset, when many of us have spent years being loyal, patient, and supportive while dealing with broken features and empty promises. Comparing this to other equine based games in the market makes the difference even more noticeable, because many other developers actively communicate with players, acknowledge issues quickly, and often address problems before the community even has to push for answers. At this point, it no longer feels like players are asking for too much — it feels like people simply want a game they care about to actually be cared for in return.

Sso will delete your account for "inactivity" even when you played the game the same month. When you open a ticket to resolve it, its basically just "we cant help you" "you needed to log into the game not the launcher" even though i clarified i logged into the GAME. It took over a month for them to reply. The "lifetime" starrider is also misadvertisement because, its not life time since they will randomly delete your account. Do not fund these developers, they have also banned people for using reshaders, they claim not to, but theres HUNDREDS of people saying otherwise. They take your money, delete your account and try to blame it on you.

Étant une ancienne joueuse de Star Stable, je pense être en position de délivrer un avis s'étendant sur mon expérience de presque 10 ans de jeu.

Concernant l'aspect payant du jeu : là-dedans, si d'apparence dépenser un tel billet pour un jeu initialement présenté comme étant gratuit semble embêtant, je pense qu'au contraire ce prix est plutôt justifié.
Malgré tout, le jeu constitue plusieurs heures d'amusement, de puzzles, courses et de lore franchement très intuitifs qui plus est prêtant totalement à l'univers équestre que l'on recherche dans ce jeu. De plus, on ne peut pas se plaindre quand à la variété de races de chevaux ou leur qualité : il y a vraiment du travail derrière.
Ce qui, à mes yeux, n'est pas juste, c'est l'augmentation conséquente du prix de l'abonnement. Ce n'est pas justifié. Le jeu se complète certes avec le temps, mais le tarif initial était clairement suffisant. On approche du prix d'un jeu considéré comme étant triple A pour un jeu en ligne très loin de respecter ses codes et qui ne peut y prétendre malgré sa qualité pour son public.

Concernant le service client, c'est là que ca me gêne.
En fait, il y a eu beaucoup de cas de messages abusifs et non respectueux envers les autres joueurs/joueuses qui sont traités soit très en surface, si ce n'est pas du tout, soit de manière totalement abusive.
Il faut s'accorder au fait que punir ou donner des conséquences à des actions contraires au règlement est essentiel pour que l'expérience de jeu de chacun soit la meilleure possible, mais punir pendant plusieurs années des comportements enfantins quand la plupart des joueurs/joueuses sont, justement, des enfants et ne pas être en mesure de l'assumer derrière est à mes yeux un point très négatif.

Quand le public que l'on cible agit comme le public ciblé, il faut le prendre en compte.

Ceci met ainsi place à un comportement abusif venant du service client, ne se mouillant d'ailleurs parfois pas pour régler les problèmes des clients (réponses automatiques, pas de réponses du tout parfois).

Mon compte s'est vu banni pour une raison absurde, une accusation de triche basée sur une utilisation de logiciel qui est absurde puisque n'est jamais arrivée, et en négociant avec le service client j'ai reçu une quantité de mails, expliquant simplement que le compte était banni sans donner plus d'informations sous prétexte d'enquête interne et car cela faisait plusieurs années que le compte était banni.
Pas très plaisant à recevoir donc, puis légèrement abusif quand il s'agit d'une joueuse de longue date (cela faisait depuis 2015 que je jouais, tout de même).

La réaction n'a évidemment pas été la même lorsque mon compte a été hack, et qu'une personne s'est permise de tranquillement acheter un cheval avec mon argent et de faire mes missions sans que cela n'inquiète personne. On a préféré dire qu'il s'agissait sûrement de ma faute, et on n'a jamais voulu me rembourser le cheval non souhaité non plus.

Les motivations de ce jeu sont assez claires à mes yeux : l'objectif est de faire un maximum d'argent avec un minimum de moyen.
Mais il faut rappeler que le public ciblé est JEUNE. Leur manière d'agir est à mes yeux très limite concernant le respect des joueurs/joueuses

Voilà mon avis quant à ce jeu.
Je ne peux enlever le fait que j'ai passé de superbes années dessus que je n'oublierai probablement jamais, le fait que j'ai rencontré des personnes que je considère toujours comme des amis aujourd'hui..
Mais tout a été balayé soudainement de leur plein gré et je ne peux passer au-dessus de ce gros détail.

Jeg oplevede Anzia Sleepyside og Dina Mapleyard som de førende i multikonti, Bots og forskellige af deres konti fortsætte chikanen i chatten. Det er under al Kritik! Jeg oplevede at teenagere, sagde til mig jeg måtte ikke være der, fordi jeg er voksen, og jeg måtte da være klam pædofil eller noget, siden jeg spillede der
