This company is a scam! Please don’t use them. I paid close to $8,000. Half of that money I was charged in feed by them. The government needs to investigate this company.

You charged me close to $4,0000 in fees. That’s half of what I paid. I want my money back! I will be contacting attorney general in Michigan today to review all the documents.

You never tried to resolve anything. So please stop lying! We will speak further through my attorney. Have a great day in Michigan.

I paid Start New Financial nearly $18000 and now I am being contacted and grifted for an additional $7200. SCAM - stay away from them at all costs.

Updated: Thank you for your response. However, your "friendly representative" refused to put into writing that this was to be the final demand for an extension. I wanted a guarantee that this would be over. He was unable to assure me that continued requests for money would not happen. In addition, I requested a detailed summary of the accounts that had been settled. He also failed to send that to me. These actions are obvious that of a scam organization that exists only to grift money from trusting individuals.

These guys convinced my hard of hearing mother who has mild cognitive impairment to sign papers agreeing to help her manage her debt. They have charged her appx $150/mo for years now and she was sued by Discover for nonpayment. Their debt settlement has destroyed her credit. The implications of bad credit in her late years of life are awful. They yelled at us when I called to advocate for her. Please trust us and stay away. If you need help with debt, look for an nfcc.org approved credit counselor, and do not use a private company, please!

Very happy with the service. After making only one payment one of my accounts is already settled. Very fast-moving and the communication is great. Highly suggest this company.

I'm 88 years old , and I came to this company through Debt Advisors and was sold a fake debt relief. # months after starting with this company my debt was charged off and they were still trying to get money from me . $590 a month for debt that was already charged off. Beware of Start New financial and Debt Advisors!

STARTNEW Financial has been a HORRIBLE service to use in consolidating our dept and paying it off. Rob and I started a process to get out of dept a little over 2 years ago. We were approached at our home by two very nice friendly gentlemen who were in constant or at least regular contact with us for the first 18 months of our 36 month agreement.
Before we signed up for this service, I read reviews and discussed with my sister who is in the credit industry. We felt confident that we were going to be treated fairly and professionally. After the first 18 months Cam Quisada was no longer interested in taking my phone calls and referred me to the customer service team. The customer service team has been EXTREMELY lacking in explaining the account charges. Today I requested to speak with a Supervisor and was told that they would have to call me back because there is not a direct line.
We have agreed to a loan to pay off any remaining settlements. When I reviewed the account there have been NUMEROUS UNEXPLAINED charges. I called Customer Support to get an explanation of the charges. I was told that I had to speak to the Loan agent about the settlements. This makes ABSOLUTELY NO sense. The Loan agent deposited the money in the Start New Account. The Loan agent cannot explain the charges.
We have no intention of consolidating dept or that need again in the future. However, any of our friend or family who may consider this option, please RETHINK using the Start New Program if it is presented as an option. Their Customer Service is HORRIBLE.

Today 05/03/2022 Spoke with Claudia. Wanted to know why we continue to have services charges and fees since we agreed to a loan. My understanding is that the loan was deposited as a lump sum and should cover all of the remaining settlement costs. If that is the case then START NEW should pay the full settlement agreement instead of payments.

Thank you Robert for doing such a great job explaining the program and how it all works! I had reservations about moving forward but after it was explained to me I could clearly see how this was the best choice for me and my situation. I am saving money every single month and I now have a clear date when I am going to have all of these paid off. Thank you again for taking the time to explain everything to me.
