I couldn't be happier with my experience with Steel Reef. From start to finish, everything went flawlessly—the shipping was fast, and the tracking and customer service were outstanding whenever I had a question along the way. As for the product itself, it is absolutely flawless and fits my Tudor perfectly. If you are looking to upgrade your watch with a custom bezel, I cannot recommend Steel Reef highly enough!

Fantastic experience. Ordered a half link for my Rolex OP41 124300 which fits beautifully and is indistinguishable from full size factory Rolex links. Ordered at 08.10 on a Wednesday morning and arrived about 11.00 on Thursday morning with free delivery. Amazing service and it’s really improved the fit of my watch!

I ordered this and was in no rush. It came, i had a watch maker put it on, and it looks amazing. I’ve spoken to several people at the company and theyre nice people and they make quality bezels. I will definitely look into getting more soon.

Steel Reef makes high quality parts, specially the on-the-fly extensions for steel bracelets. I have put them on every neo-vintage Rolex bracelet. Add to that their excellent customer support and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have bought a couple of the 1/2 links for my Rolex watches. I have also for a Tudor watch I have.

Fitting was as easy as it can get, I had a 1.6mm screwdriver so that was even easier. If you dont have one any jewellers shop or watchmaker has them as standard.

I could not get a good fit of my bracelet on my wrist … Using the 1/2link just made all the difference and I got a perfect and comfortable fit.

I am looking forward to Steel Reef increasing its range of brands and models it makes links for.

Don’t think about buying a Steel Reef 1/2 link …. Instead just buy the link. You know it makes sense !

Have order two bezel inserts and could not be happier with the product, shipping time and service. Bezels looked and fit great and they arrived quickly which is notable considering I’m in the US. They are also very responsive and friendly with message replies on social media. Will definitely do business with them again

I have been buying Steel Reef products for years now. Their equivalent of Rolex’s easy-link is a joy and has transformed my appreciation of the older “5 digit” professional models. I have also bought their half links on a number of occasions…..both products are top quality and indistinguishable from OEM parts.

Most recently I bought a half link for my recently purchased 36mm Explorer, and I have finally managed to get the perfect fit. Rolex don’t make a half link for this model (??), so hats off to Steel Reef for filling the gap.

I have never received anything other that fast and efficient service, and the one time I had a problem (the package never arrived) Steel Reef immediately sent a new one without questioning anything.

To me Steel Reef is a first rate setup. Long may they continue developing ever more products.

I use an Explorer II as my daily driver and I love the watch but kept finding it uncomfortable and too tight to wear, especially in warmer climates. I’ve been looking for a product like this for a while and was sceptical at first, but when it arrived I was delighted to find it works just the trick. Now I change the time before I get on a plane and adjust the link once I’ve gotten off- effortless every time! Delivery was prompt, packaging is professional, the link itself is subtle and maintains the original look of the watch.

I got to a point where I was getting bored of my Tudor Black Bay GMT and really wanted to give it a refresh. I came across steel reef and ordered the Fernshade bezel and honestly it's made me feel I've got a new watch on! The quality is great and the compliments I've received have been awesome! My experience was amazing and I'm already looking at my next purchase! Thank you steel reef for giving my watch a new lease of life.

I've installed ten of these on-the-fly links so far, across my Rolex collection of both vintage 4 digits and neo-modern references, on Oyster and Jubilee bracelets. Every single one has been outstanding. The quality is identical to a Rolex OEM Easylink — genuinely indistinguishable in fit and finish.

Dilemma: ADs won't supply the OEM Easylink for a watch that didn't originally come with one.
Solution: Steel Reef 'On The Fly' Links : These links solve that problem completely, and they're indispensable for anyone who collects and enjoys vintage Rolex bracelets.

Recently started installing their bezels for customers too including the Tissot prx bezels. well done for including gaskets that come pre-installed inside the bezel, makes fitting much easier

really really bad. It's a disgrace; I placed an order over a year ago and have received neither the item nor any updates whatsoever.

Half link for Rolex Milgauss (904L). Arrived in the Netherlands within the week. Product is excellent, not distinguishable from the Rolex links in fit nor finishing. Watch is a perfect fit now, would definitelty recommend!

I ordered the micro adjustment link for my Tudor bb 58 and was supposed to arrive in January. January came and it never arrived, they said that they had a manufacturing issue and that it would be delayed till march, which I completely understood and didn’t have an issue with. However, it got to the end of March and it never arrived so I emailed them and again they said it would be delayed this time until end of April. End of April then came and my order never arrived again. I emailed them and it was delayed till may, then again this happened and I was told June. I’ve had to email them every time off my own back not had a single word from them without me pushing for an answer. I still haven’t received my order and have no idea when I will. The service has been absolutely despicable at times. I’ve thought is this a scam? If there were another company that made a similar product I would 100% have gone for them. I will never I repeat never be ordering from steel reef again and I would highly highly recommend people avoid them. If I would have known this i would have just spent the extra and got one of the new OEM bracelets with the micro adjustment

I’ve ordered three Tudor bezel inserts (two in December 2025, and one this month, June 2026) from Steel Reef and they have all been top quality. It’s nice to have the option to customize and change up something as personal as my watch(es), and Steel Reef’s color options have been really fun and inspiring.

The bezel inserts are rather pricy, but the quality is there to match. Third-party options often get a bad rap for being lower quality or gimmicky, but these are neither. The inserts are the same quality as Tudor’s, in my experience. So the price tag reflects that.

Items were in-stock and shipped within 24hrs. Tracking orders internationally can run the risk of being confusing or laggy—which of course is only within the courier’s or customs’ control—but the Steel Reef’s team is quick to jump in and help navigate any tricky shipping scenarios. Grateful for not only their quality products but their attentive service as well.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but after more than a year of dealing with this, I feel it’s warranted.

I ordered a SwiftLink on-the-fly extension for my Grand Seiko after seeing Steel Reef’s excellent marketing and reading the promises on their website. Unfortunately, the experience never matched the advertising.

After placing my order, months went by without receiving the product. I sent multiple emails requesting updates and eventually asking for a refund, but I received no response whatsoever.

Eventually, I sold the Grand Seiko the product was intended for and honestly forgot about the order.

This week, after seeing another Steel Reef advertisement, I remembered the outstanding order and reached out again. This time they finally responded with an apology, stating they had received the product, were planning to begin shipping in early July, and offered me the choice of a 20% refund if I still wanted the product or a full refund if I preferred to cancel.

Since I no longer own the watch, I immediately requested the full refund.

Unfortunately, after two additional follow-up emails, I still have not received any confirmation that my refund is being processed.

The frustrating part isn’t even the production delay—manufacturing issues happen. It’s the complete lack of communication. Had Steel Reef simply kept customers informed or responded to refund requests when they were first made, this review probably wouldn’t exist.

Their products may be excellent, but customer service and communication have been among the worst I’ve experienced. Until my refund is actually processed, I can’t recommend ordering from them.
Update (July 2026):

I wanted to update my review to reflect how this was ultimately resolved.

After my original review, Gabe, the founder and CEO of Steel Reef, reached out to me personally to apologize for my experience. He acknowledged that the biggest failure wasn’t the manufacturing delay itself, but the lack of communication and the fact that I had to repeatedly chase the company for updates and eventually for a refund. He also explained that they had experienced an email compliance issue that prevented some customers from receiving their update emails.

Most importantly, I have now received my full refund, and I appreciate Gabe taking ownership of the situation and making it right.

My original criticism still stands regarding the customer service experience. Waiting months for responses to emails and having to pursue a refund is not the level of service customers should expect. However, I also believe companies should receive credit when they acknowledge mistakes, communicate openly, and follow through on resolving them.

Steel Reef appears to make innovative products, and I sincerely hope they can improve their communication and customer service because those issues have the potential to overshadow what seems to be a strong product lineup.

I wish Gabe and the team the best and hope future customers have a much better experience than I did.

I ordered a BB58 swift link in January, with estimated delivery for the end of the month. It's been over 6 months and they totally stopped answering my emails. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Updated review: I have now received the extension link alongside a personal apology from Gabe, the CEO. They also had responded to my CS inquiries after I wrote the review. The item is very high quality, as described, and was easy to install. The packaging was premium as well. I am very happy with the product.

Gabe explained that I should have been receiving regular updates on the delay in my order but they were being sent manually so me and a few others where left off. I have to take that at face-value. That does not excuse their slow response to my inquiries or lack of customer care.

I would consider giving them another chance as I’m very pleased with the extension link.

Original review: I ordered an extension link in January, which was delayed to March, and then April, and now I am unable to get an update from the company and have just emailed them for the third time in the last three weeks with no response.

They continue to advertise products, however, I am unsure if they deliver any products or if they are just collecting peoples money and hoping that they forget.

I would not recommend ordering from them.

The quality is so good (better IMO than the actual OEM Tudor bezel!). So many options for customisation, but also great for me as my original bezel’s pip dropped - so this was a lifesaver as it’s so much cheaper than going direct to Tudor!

Great shipping and comms from the owner also. Couldn’t rate it higher!

Still no delivery for an order placed in November. Customer service doesn't even bother to reply anymore. It is impossible to get a refund. The site is still offering its products. Avoid at all costs.
