Learning Full Stack Web Development at Step8Up was the bootcamp I was waiting for, to be able to learn all this amazing content in such a short space of time has been outstanding.
From day one everyone has been really supportive, Our tutor Jason was always approachable and supportive.
He was always on hand to help and explained lessons in great detail.
The after care from them is also amazing, even after the course they were helping everyone with recommendations and connections.

Recommend Step8Up to anyone who wants a solid and professional training experience.

I’ve just completed the Step8Up Full-Stack Web Development Bootcamp and really enjoyed it.

The course covers a lot in 12 weeks, from HTML, CSS and JavaScript through to APIs, Node.js, SQL and React and more. I liked that it was very hands-on, the team work and we were actually building things rather than just learning theory.

Jason has been a great tutor throughout. He’s patient, approachable and always happy to explain things again when needed.

I’ve learned a huge amount and definitely feel much more confident with coding and full-stack development than when I started.

Would definitely recommend the course.

I particularly appreciated the practical assignments, which enabled me to apply what I had learnt by adapting a real project from my professional experience into an Agile framework using Trello.

The course pushed me to think differently about project delivery, stakeholder engagement and iterative planning. It has given me greater confidence in using Agile tools and techniques and has broadened my understanding of how Agile can be applied beyond software development, including within public sector commissioning and partnership projects.

I also believe the knowledge and practical skills I gained during the course helped me to secure my new role. I had an excellent experience attending the Agile Project Management training course with Step8Up. A special thanks to our trainer, Sathana S, whose knowledge, professionalism, and teaching style made the learning experience exceptional. Sathana explained Agile concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, supported by real-life examples, interactive discussions, and practical exercises.
The course not only strengthened my understanding of Agile principles, Scrum practices, and project management techniques but also boosted my confidence in applying them in my professional role.

On two occasions now I have had the privilege of working with groups of students just completing their skills Boot Camps. Without exception, each student produced outstanding results. I attended the Agile Project Management course as a useful skill to add to my CV. The course really surprised me, it was a lot more interesting than I had initially expected, our instructor, Emma, was really engaging and funny, as well as really supportive, going out of her way to find new examples to explain things if we didn't understand them the first time. We got experience in relevant software as well as theory, and were able to test our knowledge each week, and get support with anything we didn't get. The course was accessible, even to someone like me with no prior knowledge, and being funded by the government was an added bonus!

She tailored sessions where we asked for more information on specific topics and really listened to our comments and feedback. The fact that it was government funded made it even more appealing.
