Steps feels like a dance family rather than just a dance school. My daughter started dancing there as a child, and now I happily attend the adult classes. The instructors are welcoming, attentive, and patient, creating a fun and enjoyable learning atmosphere. There are plenty of opportunities to demonstrate your skills in shows and exams. Steps embraces dancers of all ages and skill levels, encouraging everyone to excel and grow. I highly recommend it.

If you want a dance school that doesn't put any pressure on the dancers and teaches them in a friendly environment, then this is the one to choose. My Daughter's confidence has grown so much and she looks forward to each lesson. So pleased with my choice.

Honestly can't reccomend this place enough. My daughter becomes over stimulated very easily but they are incredible at keeping her engaged and she always comes put with a smile on her face🖤

Highly recommended… my daughter started lessons for the first time as a young teenager with no prior dance experience, Steph & Beth at Steps dance academy have a brilliant holistic approach to teaching and taught her so well that she was able to learn the foundations quickly and effectively whilst still being able to stay in a group for her age range.

She’s had an amazing time at steps and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to take their dance skills to the next level. The instructors are not only talented but genuinely passionate about teaching, and they create a positive, welcoming environment for dancers of all levels. The classes are well-structured, challenging, and fun, with a focus on building strong technique while encouraging creativity.

I can see that my daughter has grown so much as a dancer since joining, and it’s also become a place where she feels like part of a family with a lot of support available . If you’re serious about dance or just looking to have fun and improve, this is definitely the place to be!

My daughter has been dancing for 7 years with Steps Dance Academy. From when she started at 2 years old to now her confidence has grown immensely. She loves to go to class, and has grown so comfortable in herself, which is lovely to see. The staff are incredibly great with the students. Would highly recommend!

My 9 year old daughter started here over 4 years ago and has a close group of friends who she’s moved up with. She’s performed in 3 of the shows, and took her first exams last year, one of which was a distinction! My 4 year old son started over a year ago and he enjoys it here. The staff are caring, patient and understanding and make us feel part of their dance family.

I started with Steps Dance Academy when I was in my early 20s, having never danced as a child. During my time at this dance school I have participated in exams and shows and have learnt a new skill in my adult life. I couldn't recommend the adult class enough. I go to class and have fun with all of the friends I have made over the years, as well as getting some exercise and developing myself. The teachers are fab and really push us, while still maintaining the fun that you expect from an adult class, without any pressure.

Steps is more than a dance school, it’s more like a dance family. From the days when my daughter danced as a child to now where I take part in the adult class. The teachers are warm, friendly, caring and patient. The classes are enjoyable and fun whilst learning. There’s chances to practice learnt skills in shows and dance exams. Steps is a very inclusive dance school catering for all ages and abilities allowing everyone to reach their full potential and beyond. Highly recommend.
