Such a great, well structured and thought out programme which I have enjoyed putting in place at a school that has never used StepsWeb before. The support from the head office is amazing, and I can already see growth in the students who are using StepWeb.

Easy to use and create your own word lists. Activities help to reinforce spelling concepts being taught. Easy for the students to use, especially those with neurodiversity.

Great tool to lift literacy performance, especially reading and spellings for my child. Thank you for developing this tool!

I LOVE STEPS WEB!
I do think that maybe the steps test could be a bit better not just spelling.

We use Steps web alot at Taupo Tutoring. It generally engages the students. I do find at times the lists need to be adjusted as the student has progressed beyond their ability to read or understand the words.

We can easily purchase more licences as needed - basically immediate.
I can monitor student progress on a daily/weekly basis.
Students get rewarded with medals and this is a great incentive for them.
Students enjoy achieving the weekly goal of 20 activities.
I can assign tasks to support and reinforce what is taught in class.
Tasks align with the structured literacy programme.
Students can access their learning from home and it is easy to coach parents so they can support students at home with their learning.
It is great daily practice so students can achieve mastery.
Students enjoy the tasks - engaging and they can do them as often as they like so they achieve mastery/gold medals.

We have been using Steps for many years (15+?) and it just keeps getting more useful features.

We already had StepsWeb set up in our kura but the license had lapse. The set up was so quick and smooth.

David was very helpful when I couldn't work out how to renew my licences.

My daughter is always asking for more screen time allowance, so that she can do more stepsweb! I'm much happier with that, than silly YouTube.
We have printed off some of the activity sheets and make custom word lists.

Timely communication and renewal of our licences.

Our school has been using Stepsweb for a long time now and I love how they keep up with the times by constantly improving. It has become an easy programme to run and the support is fantastic. Also the books are great for the struggling students.

We love Steps as there is always amazing support and the emails and questions are answered so promptly.

Great program and worth our while; however, it is a frustrating process to get an invoice.

& it would be helpful if students could re-sit placement tests six monthly or have some sort of promotion system when they are succeeding on most activities, as they can often move a lot faster than the course allows them to.

We order course books and subscriptions annually as part of our literacy program and I am always impressed at the friendly and prompt service at StepsWeb. The course books are excellent reinforcement for our students and an essential tool in their literacy development, along with the structured program online.
