And yet again Stericycle have outshone themselves. After finding out that we have been signed up to a 3 year contract with the costs to leave extortionate, with the again customer service team lacking in actually servicing the customer, and with collection drivers consistently telling staff "no point taking that box, its half full" despite this breaking the current law on clinical waste. Costs have changed on the contract without us being advised or told why so we now have invoices in query and will not be paid until the "account manager" has checked them. Then you are held to ransom as you have to pay an additional fee to collect the box they should have collected as part of the service so a £35 service now becomes £70 when it's the fault of Stericycle. The only way to get out of this contract is to quote "BREACH OF CONTRACT" whereby Stericycle have 30 days to remedy the breach. But don't hold your breath, you're always in the wrong for just wanting a service that you signed up for. Customer service - you've got to be joking.

I required assistance from the Customer Service team regarding clinical consignment notes for my tenants at an NHS healthcare property. When I called, I was connected to Deborah Blood immediately, with no waiting time at all.

Deborah was extremely helpful and provided everything I needed on the very same day, enabling me to assist my tenants promptly. Her manner was kind, professional, and approachable, and nothing seemed too much trouble for her.

She delivered excellent customer service throughout, and I am very grateful for her help. I would highly recommend both Deborah and the team for their outstanding support.

The people at the Stericycle call centre are very helpful and efficient.

I needed to find out about needle collection after finding some used insulin needles belonging to my late dad whilst sorting out my parents house. I emailed them to make inquiries and Dean who responded to my email was extremely empathetic, helpful, courteous, polite & professional. He advised me of the collection arrangements so I could arrange when I was ready to do so.

Excellent, helpful service. Advisor understood issue and sorted my queries.

Stay away if you want a reliability.
They don't give you any idea of when they will turn up. They will sign you up to a 3 yr contract and lie about who they provide a service to. Also noticed they have been overcharging me since the beginning of my contract and price increases have been beyond what was contracted.

Adele from customer service was most helpful when she knew what it was that was required. Very efficient.

Really disappointing service and no attempt to rectify things as, of course, you're tied into a contract which you have to pay to get out of.

Run for the hills from this company!

It took 3 months from signing the contract to actually start collecting my clinical waste so you can imagine the build up.

The price is not what was agreed when entering the contract, I was quoted around £43 a month and I've just been charged £113.

They miss collections and change the collection date more than I change my socks (every day btw).

They don't reply to problems until a week or more later and even then you won't get anywhere but go around in circles.

I rang up to explain that I wanted the contract cancelled at the end of the term. They failed to do this and stuck me in a 2 year rolling contract. I emailed to see when the end date was and because they took a week or so to reply I ended up being out of the 3 month cancellation policy time (by a couple of days). Don't ring up about anything, have it all in writing although it probably won't matter anyway.

The staff that collect the waste are always pleasant but if you ring up its the total opposite.

I was told I was in 4 year contract (which I wouldn't agree to if I knew, I was told something different on the original quote) and when I've rang up I'm out of contract apparently. It's been 3 years.

Don't trust the quote they give you because none of it will actually be what you're signing up to and read the small print. Absolute scammers and tricksters.

They'll try to tell you that all other waste companies run the same way but it's a pack of lies, if done the research myself.
