We bought a large wall clock and it was covered in dust took ages to clean disgusting the girl was pleasant but the clock was a display can’t remember what date we bought it it was june

I was given a cleaning kit by sales assistant saying this is your sterling cleaning kit and only when I looked at paperwork a few days later discovered it had cost me £70 also sold insurance policy I didn’t need as I am already covered by house insurance new for old and told assistant this but was told manager points out suite colour now not available so would get price of suite to buy a new one. Again mislead

On time delivery. Quick install and decent fitters

I reported a problem with the frame covering under the suite when it was delivered. I haven't heard anything back from customer service yet. Perhaps the issue has been overlooked?

First rate staff and excellent quality of furniture

Great choice of furniture and Marion the salesperson was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Delivery was easily organised and the delivery team were excellent.

The Eternal Wait: Sterling Furniture’s delivery timeline has been an exercise in patience. Initially promised an 18-week wait, I soon found myself facing an extended period—now 23 weeks—for a single 3-seater couch. Communication during this time has been sparse, with Sterling attributing the lack of updates to a separate delivery company. It’s disheartening to pay for an item and feel completely in the dark about its progress.
The Mythical Settee: The settee itself has become a legend. Forgotten in the haze of waiting, its appearance remains a mystery. Is it plush and inviting, or a disappointment? We’ll find out eventually, but Sterling’s handling of the situation leaves much to be desired. Perhaps they’re too busy stargazing to provide meaningful updates.
Conclusion: In summary, Sterling Furniture’s customer experience falls short. If you’re considering a purchase, be prepared for an endurance test. As we await our elusive couch, we’ll raise a metaphorical glass to resilience. Sterling may not control time, but they’ve certainly tested ours. 🪑

Buyers beware, when you leave 25% deposit for a sofa and then decide to cancel the sofa they keep your 25% deposit, which in my case was £620. When I asked if I could use my deposit towards another sofa I was told I would lose £500, that’s how desperate they are to keep your money. When the sofa was delivered, it has lots of issues, firstly it only has chrome feet at the front, castors are at the back, which makes it look as if the feet have been broken off. When we asked if we could buy a couple of scatter cushions we were quoted £139, these cushions are flat after a week, because they are filled with cheap hollow fiber, the sofa wasn’t cheap, so why have they scrimped on materials, I had to use the cushions from my old sofa to prop up the back of the sofa as there is not enough cushions at the back for comfort. I have been married nearly fifty years and this is by far the worst made sofa I have ever purchased, won’t buy anything else from the store. My daughter purchased a similar sofa from another company for half the price and the quality is much superior to the one I bought from Sterlings. Couldn’t fault the staff as they are only following orders, but they should have cancelled the sofa when I contacted them, it had not even been delivered to the store.

My husband and I went to London Road store Glasgow to collect an item of furniture that was ordered, unfortunately I went an hour after collection time ( my own fault) and spoke to a Very Rude female member of staff at desk who informed us that there was no store person in shop. The attitude of this person was terrible no I'm sorry or apologetic in any way maybe she should be given more staff training on customer service.

We purchased 8 dinning chairs via the website and the next day we received an email saying there was a mistake, resulting in an additional delivery charge of £156 ON TOP of the £89 we’d already paid for delivery. Bearing in mind the order was in excess of £1,200.00

If we’d of known this charge initially when we were choosing the chairs we wouldn’t have proceeded with the order.

Subsequently we have been forced to look elsewhere and have now sourced very similar chairs for a very competitive price.

We’ve asked for a refund but have to wait 10 working days for this to be issued. They are quick enough to take your money, then add additional charges, and then make you wait to get your money back.
So now we have to wait for the money before ordering new chairs. Disgusting!

We think it’s an extremely poor service and the price we paid should have been honoured in a gesture of goodwill. We are voicing our disappointment by reviewing your company to warn others away, and to prevent them from receiving the same sub standard treatment we have experienced.

They are very professional. They put a mat outside my door. They wear the shoes cover before go in my home and keep the carpet cleaned. It’s a warm service.

Great experience. No pressure from staff but so helpful. Loved that the staff were experienced and not just young people with no training.
Always kept in contact for order and delivery.

We purchased a sofa and armchairs with a delivery date around 17 weeks later - we received text updates confirming in progress and delivery was on time. We also ordered carpets and fitting was co-ordinated ahead of sofa delivery. All staff dealt with were very professional, helpful and friendly including the cafe staff - can recommend the bacon rolls!

We bought a new Harrison matress. The salesman was very knowledgeable and helped us a great deal to choose the right one for us. The whole process was straight forward. We were given a delivery date and that's when it came. The company unpacked it, placed it upstairs on the bed and took the packaging away. We are pleased with a quality product.

Dining table was Manouvered around the shop floor matching it to different chairs and benches until I was pleased with what I was purchasing .
Delivered on time and drivers assembled and cleaned away all the rubbish
