This is my second time writing a review about the trailer that was stolen from me while being stored at the Storage King facility in Manor Tx. Storage King replied to my review and gave me a number to call, but when I called the number, it sent me back to the same person who I had been dealing with. Finally she told me that she would have someone call me from the regional office, but I never received a call. Now when I call I can’t even get anyone on line. Tires of getting the run around. About to see if any legal action can be taken against Storage King USA. I would advise people to do likewise.

Storage King bought out a privately


Storage King bought out a privately owned self storage in my town. About a month later I was charged over $200 for a storage unit and RV storage site for the next month and but had vacated the property. After contacting local management they told us that the previous business had deducted the amount and it was not their responsibility to refund. HUH? But you owned the business. They said they had no contact information for the previous owner and that we would have to contact an attorney. Why? You owned the business now. Well, I finally located the owner of the business after doing my own research and he said his portion had been dissolved as of October 1, including all the banking, and turned over to Storage King. I am trying to contact headquarters now but haven't had a return call from local management in months so don't expect it now.

Storage King U.S.A (Western Branch


Storage King U.S.A (Western Branch location) needs a lot of improvement. Here's what I experienced:

1. I was sent to the wrong building, to get to my storage unit.

2. The elevator was inoperative, I couldn’t get to my things and no one was in the office.

3. I was given the option to insure my storage unit, but I declined. A few days after I completed my transaction, I was told that insurance was mandatory.

4. I was told that removing the things from my storage unit before the end of the month didn't matter, as they did NOT give a partial refund for unused time.

5. I was told I’d receive an email to confirm I’d vacated my storage unit, by the next day, but it took 2 days for me to receive the email. The correct date is important, especially if the new month starts on the day before they closed your account.

WORST PLACE EVER

WORST PLACE EVER. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do not waste your time or money. These people are scammers and liars. They do not operate on basic business principles. Rotten to the core. Find another place that treats and values their tenants and customers and operates their business professionally.

I would refer all of my friends and and family to rent units from Ms. Nita great personality, beautiful heart just loving people I love them.

I would refer Storage King USA to all my family and friends they are the best great personality, beautiful inside out warm and friendly would go the extra mile for you I love them they treat you like family 👪 much love ❀

Find another place with upfront


Find another place with upfront policies.
During move in manager assured me that I could move out at any time without being penalized. I moved in, when it was time to move could not get in touch with property manager due to vacation/holidays for over a week. After calling numerous times I was billed $60 late fee and paid $310 for 9 days of storage. Also fellow customers complained of being robbed. Storage unit was infested with ants and also storage door falling apart.

Storage King on Ft Lowell should be avoided.


After my first review of my horrible experience with this company, I received two emails saying some one will call.
Of course, no one ever does.
The day in question, 6/28/23, I left several frantic messages. No one ever called, and it’s four days later. I did call the afternoon of the 29th, and was told there were no messages, and I had called the corporate office as well as the one where my possessions may be, but I don’t know and am afraid to ask. They were so nice when I rented the space but weren’t so nice after.
And my situation is such that all my personal possessions are there, but I am afraid to go. I am physically challenged and can’t do it alone. I will have to pay mover another unplanned amount to help me.
I am definitely getting an attorney tomorrow.

Storage King Unit in Colorado Springs

We recently rented a couple of storage units from this facility. Our experience is very positive. The facility is is very clean and well managed by the property manager Venetia. She is very attentive, personable, and helpful to accommodate our needs. We highly recommend this place.

We have a unit at Storage King USA 551


We have a unit at Storage King USA 551 Fairfield Pensacola for almost a year. We went to get household items our of unit and was the old the gate was hit by lightning and unoperable. The Mgr Kelly didn't know when it was going to be fixed but we could take 2 hall's 2 doors gravel outside to get our stuff. Now I understand lightening problems but I don't understand the Mgr or someone not being able to open gate manually. Obviously I was upset since we had rented trailer, had taken off work unpaid for 2 days. Worse customer service ever. Had asked for credit on days we were unable to get out stuff and still don't have. She was horrible 😢. I would never ever recommend this facility to anyone and Kelly is a real poor excuse for a manager and definitely not a plus to represent Storage King USA. Actually a 1 is too high of a score

Worst customer service ever

I rented a unit from the spring hill location during my move to the area. Website claims instant access and that is not true. I received an email AFTER paying and signing the lease online that if I did this outside normal business hours I would have to visit the office to gain initial access. I tried anyways because I had to return my rented moving trailer that day and needed to unload my things. No luck, as the code was not active yet. I tried calling thr number on the office building and the number in my email, got answering machine saying i can leave s message and the call will be returned during normal business hours. I purchased my unit on a Saturday and the office didn't open until Tuesday. I was forced to buy a unit from a different storage facility that did give me instant access( glad their website didn't lie like storage kings does). I call the office when they open and try to explain the situation, the lady tells me that the code should work (it didnt), that I should have called the customer support number that's in my email to get a temporary code (she couldnt give me any number to actually call and told me I needed to look on the website or in my email, i did call the number in my email, it was the same number as was on the door of the spring hill office building and I got the same voice recording). I explain there was no separate number and that I tried my gate code multiple times, she then starts raising her voice demanding that I tell her what order I pushed the buttons that I must have done it wrong because they've never had a problem before and it just works. I proceed to tell her she's being very unprofessional and rude and ask for the employees name, she refuses to tell me her name or give me an way to reach someone else and is just yelling at me over the phone now so I hung up. This was honestly the worst customer service experience I've ever had in my entire life

Recién ayer alquile una segunda unidad en el storage de Miami y cuando llegue estaba cerrada con candado llame en varias ocasiones a costumer service y me dijeron que en dos días podían venir para abrir la unidad, un servicio pésimo, pregunto: Quien me devuelve el tiempo y las pérdidas que esta falta de atención me han causado

Very insecure place to storage very bad


Very insecure place to storage very bad managment of the property alots of customers complaint about it np security thieves brake into units and havent done anything now i feel afraid that next morning my stuff can be gone!!

This is for the facility in Santa Rosa California on Dutton Meadow. The gate has been open for days. I've talked to several people today while I was at my unit that had their stuff stolen. Units are ransacked and left open. Management is not answering the phone. This is ridiculous. The gate code doesn't work.

Well there’s no zero but before when I was unable pay online because system said didn’t recognize me I called local and corporate offices and manager never call me as corporate said would. They don’t work with customer just want fees added.

My daughter just had baby week old today that I’ve been trying get help with and thought was on auto pay but finding out today they have to do it. So here I am getting help to get in storage which haven’t been able to and left message couple months ago on voicemail no return call.
The agents, they just work here so they have no control of the inconsideration.
It appears if attending was touching lock ahead of me so is it a way they can lock your lock. I was told I turned wrong way and I had a couple and an additional guy try help me when last came and no one was able to open. SMH; but oops after assistant it magically opens 😯🙃🫢🀔
