I spoke to someone on Tuesday I was needing storage inbetween a house move was told to send over paperwork and ID and that a unit was available for my date however just received a call today - Saturday telling me they can’t offer me a unit as the one I was allocated has been extended With whoever is using it. Sorry but why allocate a unit if you don’t have one just waisted my time in an already difficult situation giving me 5 days to find another unit. Would not recommend

Used the storage vault Motherwell for 4 months to store all of our house contents while we waited on our house being built. It was an easy process, great space (we had a XL unit) and very reasonably priced including the first 2 months half price. Would absolutely recommend and if we need storage again we’d be back.

Have been with storage vault for 4 month, never had any problems and they also accommodated us when we had to hire a 2nd lock up , no problems at all would absolutely recommend this company with out doubt

I have used the facility at Grangemouth for the last 7 months. I had a small unit which was perfect for my requirements. I always felt very safe accessing the facility which is very important. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. Kenneth Macdonald has been excellent from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone.

Everything was good … apart from the fact that because i forgot to give 14 days notice ( i gave 7 ) i was charged an additional £64 !! I hired the unit for 2 months and was clear at the outset that that would be as long as i needed it for. Storage Vault should send a reminder 14 days before the end of lease date to let customers know that they need to vacate or rehire, instead they choose to rip people off by springing these additional costs on them after the due end of lease date.

I wasn't sure what size i needed but Dionne at Dundee suggested a 15ft would be fine when i gave measurements for some of my boxes i planned to store.
Dionne took the time to show me a few variations of layout and a larger size unit but it turned out she was spot on first time.
The units being 8ft high makes them ideal for box storage as that's double the cubic space of a local competitor.
Quick and easy to get setup and Dionne also made sure i was getting the correct "new customer" deal for how long i planned to stay.

I recently had to store a new kitchen with Storage Vault while I waited for the joiner to become available. The service they provided from the first interaction through to the end of the contract was first class. Stefini, was professional, courteous and pro-active whenever I contacted her. Having used storage companies before, I can safely say, Storage Vault is the best.

I have just hired a unit at storage vault and it could not have been easier Dionne and colin were a pleasure to talk to. Dionne walked me around and showed me a few different units so i could see which one best suited and explained everything i needed to know. Would highly recommend.

Everyone was very helpful. Everything was explained and if I had any queries I could phone any time.

Had items in storage for just under 3 months through Storage vault Motherwell.

Any time I had dealings with the staff or customer service representatives they were really nice and professional and were able to answer any questions I had.

The locker I personally had was dry and secure with no issues regarding security.

The only slight niggles I had would be that my locker was quite dark as it was buried at the back on the ground floor with no lighting overhead in my locker.

Also when it came time to emptying my locker I was unable to access it for about a week over the christmas and new year period. Cant be helped given the time of year and when I discussed this with staff regarding proof of emptying my locker they were understanding and fair.

Prices were very fair and competitive for the size of the locker and length of time required, however as I was able to rent mines during an initial “deal” period the prices were far cheaper than any other comparable business.

Overall an extremely good service with price, security, ease of use and dealings with staff all being strong points.

Managed to secure a unit on the day. Quick and easy. 60% off first 2 months. Unit is immaculate. Easy access. Perfect for what I needed

Customer service was excellent—communication was clear, and the staff were always friendly and extremely helpful whenever I called. Nothing was ever an issue, and any queries were resolved immediately. I would 100% recommend.

Whole process was easy and straight forward. Fully informed about all the terms conditions and the staff that I spoke to were brilliant (Mollie & Kenny).

Close unmanned sites during holidays

They charge higher prices than local storage companies and for some reason don’t allow access during holidays when the site is unmanned… not good for businesses

Great secure storage units that were well maintained, and the staff were friendly, helpful and were always available by email or phone call when needed. No complaints and would highly recommend.

Had my things in storage for 3-4 months during house move in Paisley. No issues with vault, it was dry and secure. My only recommendation would be if I did it again I'd book a ground floor vault, even if it meant booking 2 as 2nd floor ones are bigger, as moving so much furniture up and down lifts was massive inconvenience - but that was with what I was storing, not with service.
