The team at StratDev has been awesome. They demonstrate through action their belief in their product offering. While I had a slow start to results their team acted as an extension of my own and kept pushing to get the correct result. At no point did they make excuses or try to dodge feedback. Instead, they took all feedback, adjusted, and ultimately provided the desired outcome and result.

StratDev is truly a partner in excellence. They are very communicative about any new initiatives and changes and make sure to support and listen to us through the entire creative process while still providing an expert POV.

Our new website looks fantastic, and their management of our organic and paid search traffic is putting the new site to good use.

We engaged the StratDev team for a short-term contract and primarily collaborated with their UI/UX designer, Andres. Our project involved enhancing a website redesign that had originally been completed by another marketing partner. Andres provided valuable input that helped elevate the initial design and also offered thoughtful suggestions related to SEO, which we appreciated.

Overall, the working relationship was positive. Andres was collaborative and receptive to feedback. The project was completed on time. However, there were occasional challenges with communication and attention to detail, which sometimes led to repetitive discussions. This may have been due to the complexities of inheriting a project midstream or balancing multiple assignments.

As the project was completed recently, we have not yet seen measurable results from a website performance standpoint, so we are unable to comment on that aspect at this time.

To effectively build a product and sell it, four steps are generally required:
1. Product Design
2. Offer Design
3. Offer Communication
4. Ad Management

Often organizations contract with agencies for #4 and little else of import. The reasons vary: trust, depth of relationship, capabilities of the agency, business need. Today, Ad Management is a commodity capability and frankly, replaceable.

On occasion, an agency might deliver (#2) offer design and (#3) offer communication - what we see with Mad Men (the TV show), but that doesn’t happen too much today with smaller agencies. Rarely, if ever, is an agency involved in Product Design.

What makes StratDev unique, and what I was seeking as the CTO of EAGLERIDER when we underwent our rebranding of the website, was to reach all the way back to (#1) Product Design.

No, StratDev wasn't going to change our fundamental products of motorcycle rentals and tours. But they could help achieve our goal of positioning the brand as delivering the experience of the open road. This is a different product than what was previously a discount motorcycle rental company.

I believe this is a unique and differentiated level of capability for a smaller agency such as StratDev.
