Wonderful cake with a real wow factor! Actually better than the picture on the website. Delivery service was perfect, I ordered the cake at the last minute but it arrived on time and saved the day! Everyone was very impressed at the party. The cake was not only beautifully designed but also delicious and super fresh. Thank you for helping making my son’s 3rd birthday such a memorable event.

The cake itself was delicious, however there are some serious service side issues that would prevent me from buying here again.

Firstly, they promise a tracking link will be sent on the morning of delivery. I had no comms between anrder confirmation and then nothing on delivery day. When I called, they said it's being delivered today before 6pm and then the links came through.

Fast forward to 7.30pm and its just been delivered by a guy in a normal car. No refridgerated van. The tracker says it was picked up at 3pm, so 4 hrs plus in a car in 30+ degrees heat... the icing was all split. It had also been wrapped in cling film, which damaged the beautiful design when unwrapped.

I messaged to complain about the damage and the split icing (it looked a real mess) 3 days ago. It's as read on WhatsApp but I've heard nothing.

I spent a few hours fixing the icing myself to make it suitable for the party, and made it good. However you use a baker when you dont want the faff! Lots of compliments on the taste.

So yeah, 2 stars. Poor service, poor operations, lovely tasting cake. Wouldn't use again.

I have been buying cakes from Sugaholics approximately four years, birthdays, Christmas and whenever i crave for a good cream cake. I have tried the fresh cream fruit cakes for years. The delivery driver is absolutely great the driver is always with a smile also the good thing about Sugaholics is you can order your cakes way ahead of when you need it.

Although you presented a “delivery confirmation” the cake never arrived to its destination.
Neither any hotel employee nor the guest received the cake.

Very happy with the cake, just as pictured. Was worried at first as I had not received tracking the day before delivery. But when I called to check the status, there was actually someone, not a machine/AI, answering my call. Received tracking later on and delivery was smooth. Was worried to see the cake being delivered from a normal car rather than a professional cake delivery van with cooling facilities and anti-vibration shock absorber, but the cake turned out to be in excellent condition. Will return.

Ordered same day delivery and was absolutely beautiful. Grandson loved it as his birthday cake and the actual taste was fabulous. Thank you so much.

Sorry . But it took 6 day to ship a 7 item box . And when I email to ask noone could be bothered to respond ot it .

It was a bittersweet experience! It was meant to go to my sister for her birthday but silly me had given the wrong address - so at the last minute I realized I had given my address instead.
The cake arrived at my door and guiltily I opened the box. A lovely looking cake stared up at me!
Incredible, light texture and not too sweet all round. The fruits/berries were sweet enough. The cream was just sufficient and the flavours and dripping subtle and not overwhelming. Very impressed!! I will definitely be ordering again and I might conjure another mishap!

We ordered an Avengers cake for my son’s birthday and it was honestly fantastic. It comfortably served nearly 30 people, which was perfect for the party, and everyone kept commenting on how good it tasted. The sponge was really light, fluffy, and had such a great consistency throughout.

The marshmallow icing was unreal. Genuinely one of the best parts of the cake. I could happily eat that every day. The kids absolutely loved it too, especially the fact that it turned their tongues blue, which added a really fun element to the party and got everyone laughing.

Overall, the cake was a massive hit and became a real part of the celebration. It looked great, tasted even better, and helped make the day feel really special. Highly recommend.

I ordered a birthday cake to be sent to my brother the day of. The shop managed to bake the cake the same day and deliver per my instructions. The cake was delicious and untouched by the delivery process.
Will definately prefer them again in the future.

The whole experience was amazing, from order, to payment to delivery and the communication in between.
