I bought 3 pairs of running socks as a gift for my daughter. Very quick delivery and a quality product. This is the second time I have gifted her sums socks and she is very happy with them.

As someone who has been running for around 26 years, I am really impressed with these socks. The brand seems great: rewards, environmentally friendly packaging and cool vibe.

I have given these three stars because they are not bad socks, but my experience has been very mixed.

They look great and work well for shorter runs or everyday wear. Their odour control is excellent, and even after long periods in them, my feet have never smelled particularly bad.

I also wore them for around 10 hours during a UTMB event in very wet conditions and did not develop any blisters, which genuinely impressed me. They handled the moisture well and protected my feet when soaked.

However, I have struggled with them during longer dry runs and hot weather. The material feels very thin, rough and abrasive against my skin rather than soft.

After a hours, they can begin to feel like sandpaper and have caused some of the worst rubbing and blisters I have experienced from running socks.

They are also extremely tight, difficult to get on and off, and the merino pair shrank after washing. My feet can feel hot and irritated in them, although that may simply be down to how they fit my feet rather than a problem everyone will experience.

Overall, they are stylish socks with excellent odour control and they performed surprisingly well in very wet conditions. For shorter runs, they could be a good option. Unfortunately, they have not worked well for my feet during longer, hotter or drier activities.

Bought my first pair at Francis Running shop in Lisbon and had to buy more online. They are so comfy during my runs and I get so many compliments on the fun designs!

My instagram account mainly consists of independent shops, retailers who are new and trying to get their feet off the ground and SUMS was one of them. Best find, best socks - going to order more!

SUMS customer care is second to none as are their socks. Been looking round for ages for the best running socks, happy to say I have now found them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great socks - I use them for running and hiking.
Wear well, wash well, good compression.
Only socks i would buy now for running and warm weather hiking.

Awesome socks! So good that I use them for running but also everyday too! Got the checkerboard pair and they are great socks. No blisters at all running!

I ordered x3 pairs in medium and 2 pairs arrived in the wrong size but Chloe from Customer Care replied super quickly and it was resolved very quickly too without any issues so big shout out to Chloe! Thank you!

Wore 2 different pairs for a 55km ultra trail run and no blisters

Great socks will be using them for all my runs from now on.

I bought a pair of socks to do an ultra as I needed something longer on the calf and that will keep in place and not cause fiction whilst running. Also the thickness feels good too. Happy so far so I’ll order some more

Great comfort - no ruffling up during a 1/2 marathon.. best socks I have bought that caused no issues during a long run

Awesome socks wore them for a 45 mile ultra run and my feet felt great 👍

Good overall service & communication. Socks were OK for local trails up to 10 miles but soon had to change into my twin-layer reliable trail socks as I could feel hot spots forming. Definitely no where near ultra distance comfort so relegated to spare sock bag after one use or for the gym.

Great Designs, Easy to order, good value getting a bundle of 3 and although early days socks feel good, light and comfortable but substantial.

Cool chequered socks. The compression socks are a little too tight on my calves though, I'm not particularly big but got fairly large calves. Might be good to have different sizes based on calf diameter
