Every element of this retreat was incredible! The accommodation was superb, the food from Alissa was exquisite, the workouts and the yoga from Sophie were just want you needed. They both hosted us as a group and individually making sure everyone needs and wellbeing were considered. This is so much more than just a weekend away, It’s a chance to reset, make new connections and discover some amazing people and places. I would 100% recommend it to anyone, where you are a keen “fitness expert” or more of a beginner like I am this retreat will leave you feeling refreshed and wanting to return!

I have just returned from a 3 night retreat in Pembrokeshire, and WOW! I have never done anything like this before, but have always wanted to. It lived up to everything I could have imagined and more, we were all made to feel so welcome, the food was INCREDIBLE! Such a generous, nourishing spread for every meal. The daily workouts/yoga were easily adaptable to suit your ability, and there was a beautiful balance of activity, and down time too, which really gave me chance to relax. Sophie’s local knowledge leant itself really well to knowing the best spots for a sea swim/walk/coffee spot. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone, lone traveller or not!

Amazing weekend in St.Davids retreat with Sophs. I traveled alone and I felt instantly welcomed into a team of amazing women. The FOOD was delicious!!! The days were full of laughs, walking, swimming, eating, yoga and much more. A brilliant way to spend the weekend 🩵

Have just got back from a retreat in Pembrokeshire and have honestly had the most beautiful experience. Amazing host Sophie made us all feel so comfortable and planned a fantastic itinerary filled with yoga, wild swimming and beach workouts. The house we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and had so much space for us to relax and unwind in, including the hot tub which was very popular for us all :) the food made by our amazing chef Alissa, was presented so beautifully and tasted even better. The afternoon tea cakes especially were a favourite for me. The setting idyllic. My soul left feeling truly nourished, thankyou girls x

Oh my gosh, I just got back from my second Sun and Salt Escapes retreat in Pembrokeshire, and I already want to book again for 2026! From the second we arrived everything was exceptional. Mornings kicked off with beach workouts and evenings with yoga, with a coastal walk and wild water swimming in between. Nothing felt rushed and there was always time for a cheeky nap or massage at the local spa.

Now, Alissa’s food…It’s basically art on a plate. Brunch, afternoon tea and supper were big highlights for me! Always a colourful spread, full of so many flavours with different around the world cuisines each night.

And finally…Sophs…From the moment you meet her, she welcomes you with such warmth and kindness and makes you feel instantly at ease. The little end of yoga massages, and nothing is ever too much trouble.

All in all, going back to Sun and Salt Escapes retreat felt like hitting the reset button in the best way possible. If you’re looking for a getaway that’s equal parts active, relaxation, delicious food, and amazing people, this is the one. Trust me, you’ll be booking your second trip before you even leave. 😊

The Sun and Salt Escapes retreat in Portugal was truly an unforgettable experience. Set in a lovely villa near the stunning coastline, the retreat offers a perfect blend of challenging workouts, relaxation, restorative yoga, and divine vegetarian food.

Sophie is incredibly thoughtful in both the design of the program and the inclusion of special touches, from welcome gifts to nurturing a safe and welcoming environment that cares for both body and soul. It’s sisterhood at its best!

I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a healthy and invigorating getaway while connecting with a wonderful group of women.

This was my second time on a Sun and Salt Escapes retreat. I had high expectations after loving the Portugal retreat last year. Ibiza did not disappoint!!!

Sophie and Alissa are wonderful hosts making you feel welcome and at ease. Sophie takes you through fun morning workouts and the and the most amazing evening yoga sessions.

Alissa’s food is a nourishing, colourful feast and is always delicious!!

The Ibiza trip, is my second retreat with Sun and Salt. I've come away so happy, rested and motivated, that it quite simply has to be something I return to year after year. Non-negotiable! It's got everything, energy, movement, rest and relaxation, wonderful women, and a safe space to reconnect with yourself. The food is nourishing and delicious and the schedule was a great balance. It was wonderful not to have to think, or make any decisions. It was such an epic trip, absolutely loved it and can't recommend it enough. I feel very lucky to have had this experience and will definitely return again and again xxx

Sun and Salt Escapes you are The Best. Just returned from the Ibiza retreat and it was incredible. The vibes, the accommodation, the food, the schedule it was all perfect. I have recently been diagnosed with a chronic illness... which I'm still navigating and Soph and team were so supportive, cheering me on and reminding me to take from the retreat only what I needed. I was a little apprehensive the schedule may be too much for me given my health... it wasn't. So much time to relax and Soph is so accommodating, always checking in that I was managing ok. I would thoroughly recommend and can't wait to return to a Sun and Salt Escapes retreat in the future.

I went on the Portugal retreat with my daughter and I had an amazing experience. Sophie and Alyssa were perfect hosts. The workouts with Soph were challenging and fun, the yoga in the evening provided a perfect end to the day and Alyssa’s food was wonderful. I would recommend this retreat to all ages and all abilities.

If you are looking for a fitness and wellness retreat and want to relax, but workout, and also eat wonderful food then this is the spot for you! Oh and you like yoga as well? Then this FOR SURE is exactly what you have been looking for, and should sign your self up asap! Soph and her team are amazing people with beautiful souls! Don’t over think, this is experience your don’t want to miss out on. I can’t wait for the next chance I get to go on a sun and salt escape! I think Ibiza will be next for me but Portugal was magical!

A gorgeous retreat ran by two amazing women that was so great for the soul. Invigorating workouts, fantastic company and beautiful scenery… just perfect.

This was my second retreat with Sophie and Alissa, this time bringing 3 friends along, and it was as fantastic as the first.

Wonderful food, company and exercise to suit all abilities, I was made to feel completely relaxed and looked after.

I’ve just come back from my second Pembrokeshire retreat with Sophie and Alissa and it was as wonderful and magical as the first.

I’m not overly fit or active, and my BMI is a little higher than it should be but following my first retreat and how I was made to feel so welcome, encouraged to see what my body can do and to embrace all shapes/sizes, I returned for my second retreat having consistently done weekly yoga classes and joined a gym.

This retreat is made by Sophie and Alissa, their love, care, warmth and welcoming style is what brings the magic……I’ll see you in Ibiza next year ☺️

I’ve been doing a lot of self care this year and what better way to do that than to go on a retreat in Portugal!
I’ve been going to Sophs yoga classes for a year now and thoroughly enjoy them. So when the opportunity came up to go on a retreat abroad I had too!

It was one of the best decision I’ve made this year, the welcome when we arrived, it felt like I’ve known everyone for years. There was no awkwardness. Everyone was there for the same reason and that was to be healthy, happy and present. Which is exactly what we got.

The food was phenomenal, as a meat eater I was a bit unsure if it was for me to have just vegetarian/vegan meals for a week! But I was not disappointed! I’ve even brought some ideas back to cook at home!

Thank you all so much for such a wonderful experience! I’ll definitely be coming again!

We had the most amazing stay, the retreat was incredibly well thought out and very personally planned. Sophie was beautifully welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

The coastal walks were glorious and the wild swimming was magical, pure gold for the soul. We lucked out with the weather, completely gorgeous and even got to see the northern lights.

The workouts were fun and easily tailored. The yoga was dreamy, especially our sessions at the beach. Sophie is the perfect yoga teacher!

Alissa, the chef, was so lovely and has a real talent for creating food. The food was scrummy and plentiful, there were always extras leftover in the fridge. It was very well thought out and catered for all of our needs. The baked oats and Mexican feast were my absolute favs!

The house was homely, with stunning gardens, hot tub and sauna. St David’s was a pleasure to explore! ✨

If you want to feel fully looked after and relaxed for the weekend this is the place to go. As a mum, it’s not often I get to switch off, even on holidays but I felt totally relaxed the whole time. I’d not done yoga before but felt Sophie catered to all levels, making everyone feel comfortable no matter if they were beginners.
Everything was planned out giving us all time to enjoy down time and relax. We also enjoyed the amazing cliff top views, walks and of course the amazing sea swimming. The food was next level, 🤩 everything looked and tasted amazing, always a beautiful setting for meal times. Would 100% recommend the retreat and the wonderful hosts. Can’t wait to do it all again!

We had a girls retreat weekend in May and it was just incredible. Sophie and Alissa were the perfect hosts. Great yoga and fitness sessions and amazing food! The Pembrokeshire coast is just perfect and the swimming was lovely! We couldn’t have asked for more.
