Great meals that take the decision fatigue out of dinner. Delicious sauces/dressings and creative recipes. Love the organic ingredients and making new dishes. Highly recommend!

Out of all the good subscriptions I’ve used, I’ve enjoyed the quality of Sunbasket’s ingredients the most and the recipes they offer. Lots of delicious healthy food and their customer service is always helpful if any food arrives in less than good condition.

I mostly love sun basket, I think it is quality ingredients and a good selection of meals. I'm disappointed in the fact that I have some sort of non-organic substitute almost every week. I understand that organic is not guaranteed, but it feels like it happens too often. I will say that the customer service has always been excellent when something goes wrong. One more wish that I have is that I could be somebody that gets to test new meals. I qualified for this long ago and have asked before but have never been picked to try a new meal. I'm a foodie and would find that experience very enjoyable.

We have been very pleased with the variety of meals available. The many flavors and healthy choices assure the meals are enjoyable to eat.

We have been using Sunbasket for over 1.5 years now and are still enjoying it. We realized we quickly went back to old habits of easy to cook meals and got quickly tired of that. Love the freshness and variability of meals.

I am genuinely surprised at the high score here, especially for customer service. I can't speak to the food because I never received it. In Sunbasket's defense, my Amex kept declining the charges without ever informing me. And the first notification I got from Sunbasket was the Thursday before my Sunday delivery. I'd signed up 10 days before my order and they won’t even let you look at selections for the week without ponying up your credit card info. Isn’t that the point of that initial 0.01 fee they charge to your credit card, to make sure it works?

I must have redone payment 4 times on Thursday, each time it showed as going through. I replied back to the email asking for confirmation it’s working. No reply. No bounce back, nothing. I got the same “payment not working” notification Friday. I called Sunbasket between my 8 hours of work meetings, they forwarded my query to the billing department and said I’d get an email with issue. Email said call credit card, which I did, and replied to email again asking for confirmation it went through. No response. The person I spoke with on the phone said I would be able to get my Sunday order if I could fix the credit card issue Friday. I followed up again Saturday morning, explaining my frustration at the experience and pleading my case - please take my money and get me my Sunday delivery because I’m a working mom and I’ve organized my week around it. It’s Tuesday morning, still no reply.

If you’re an existing customer of Sunbasket and you’re happy, that’s wonderful. If you’re new and thinking about it, don’t bother. They don’t really care for you. I will probably end up getting a few deliveries until I set up another service. In my experience, this level of customer care tends to reflect values and workings of company. And I’m looking for a meal prep service to make my life easier, not more frustrating.

Update post Sunbasket reply: I had noticed this before but these replies are all AI generated. I hope trustpilot starts taking that into account. Because having an AI bot regurgitating what you wrote with additional spittings of faux sympathy is not what anyone is looking for. To cut to the chase, after below reply I had the exact same issue! And I know it’s not my credit card anymore. I still haven’t gotten a human response. As you can see per below, they can’t actually bother to address the problem and have invested in appearances instead.

What I like about Sunbasket is the variety of recipes and how easy they are to make. The delivery service they use delivers so that I can cook that evening.

I’ve really enjoyed Sunbasket over the last 6 months! I’ve used many other meal kit boxes and have always gotten bored or was unsatisfied with the quality. I find the variety of meals amazing, meals are rarely repeated or feel like they are following one of 5 formulas. I also very very rarely have had any issues with produce and never with the proteins!

Very convenient menu selection with varied options. I like that I can mix premade meals with meals I need to cook. The customer support is very quick to respond to any issue.

Having a meal delivery service has increased the variety of foods in our diet. We eat much more healthy than previously. We eat out less than before so actually save money by using this service.

Always on time and interesting recipes to keep things varied. The quality is great, and in the rare instance there has been an issue with anything the customer service has been phenomenal.

Its easy. You pick your meals, they are delivered. Then you cook.i have had very few problems. The ingredients are good.

I love Sunbasket. The selection is great, and it takes the guesswork out of planning meals for the week for our family. It's easy to adjust week by week, and even skip or redirect an order if needed. I ordered every week for years, and only backed off recently because of budget constraits. But we continue to love the experience (we average maybe once a month now). And we keep the recipe cards and recreate them ourselves sometimes, although getting everything in the box is still the most convenient.

I love that you can choose your protein! That feature is amazing. I love the fact there are meals that are already ready to be microwaved and meal kits that you can cook. However, the premade meals sell out frequently, and we are limited to gluten free meals, so some weeks there are no premade meals left for us to order. I have a Celiac in the household and I wish I was a little more aware of the steps you take to make each mean "gluten friendly". I do worry about cross contamination. It would be amazing to have certified gluten free ingredients for Celiac sufferers.

My shipments have been late twice. Last time it was dropped off after 11pm causing me to have to purchase dinner unexpectedly and also I had to get out of bed in the middle of the night on a Monday night to put away the food in the fridge. That was annoying.

I actually don't personally eat your meals due to severe food allergies, but since I am still the one that is responsible for feeding my family, I sourced your premade meals and my family has largely been impressed with them and have liked them. Only a few meals were a miss on the flavors, but most are very yummy according to my family. And there seems to be enough variety to keep them happy. The only drawback is that there is not enough in the portion size and we have to add rice to get bellies full. Considering the price point, we shouldn't have to be supplementing a meal to satiate ourselves.

So overall, we are very happy with the features and the recipes, the food quality is good as well. Just a few pieces of feedback that could turn our 4 star rating into a 5.

Sunbasket offers so much variety with the meal kits and options for which protein you want. They have offered halibut which is so rare! I also likke that you can purchase already prepared one person meals which just need to be microwaved. Customer service has been great in the few instances I've needed them. I was a Green Chef subscriber and am now hooked on Sunbasket. Kudos the the creativity of the staff for the meals!

I really enjoy the healthy meals I receive from Sunbasket, they are natural and free of chemicals and preservatives. They have meals for every diet and blood type. I tried all different types of meal companies this one is the best. I will continue purchasing from them as long as I am able to.
