Adult social services are appalling . The social worker and managers. Have been chasing them for 3 months to do a care needs assessment and to help find a suitable home for my grandfather as his main carer is going into hospital. Was lied to saying the assessment would be done or would be covered never happened. His money is soon to run out and they are happy for him to stay by himself a 97 year old man with dementia who wonders off and at risk of falls. So uncaring and unprofessional.

The social services are nighmare- manipulative b.......! You helped your friend, concerned of his safety and well-being, showed them to provide compassion and the best quality of care- they will threat you with police, turning your vulnerable friend against you. Your good heart and perfect intentions won't be appreciated by them but It will be destroyed by them. They pretend to be friends, good carers but they do wrong.

Social worker - unprofessional manners, trying to cut me off my close friend's life and doesn't allow me to be his carer. I was his carer and suddenly social services want to take over his life without even having proper evidence about his mental capacity from psychiatrists and real diagnosis through the scan.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from Anne-Marie and her colleagues in Council Tax.

Enforcing a charge that is no longer applicable because all outstanding payments have been paid for, but according to her it's already been incurred so she "can't", or better said "won't" remove it. Even though she's empowered to do so.

She confirmed that they don't look at any good history payment of 30 years however, she was quite happy to look at the last 6 months of payments and point out 2 payments that had been late.

She absolutely knew what she was doing, just dragging her feet and talking sweetly just to tell me that her decision was going to be not to remove the charge even though it's only a couple of weeks late.

Having called earlier (30m earlier), I spoke to one of her colleagues who said that my payment was late and I argued that full payment had been made, even if it was a couple of weeks late.

He conveyed that I must call the Enforcement Officer as they are the only ones who can decide if they'll remove it or not.

So I did. And it transpires that this information isn't correct.

I called Enforcement Officer (Alex) who said that he was happy to remove any payment instructions however, the notice of removal had to come from Sutton Council, and that they had only received the enforcement order this morning, same day I called, so it should be ok. Suspiciously enough, they also received the notice one day after I made full payment (go figure...)

When I called Sutton Council back, Anne-Marie (not the former colleague) picked up and she simply won't do it.

She is too brainwashed and unintelligent, and thinks she can abuse her authority instead of having a civilised conversation, and looking at the bigger picture. No empathy, no willingness to help, just 1 dimensional plain brain cell happy to do further financial damage, and create emotional distress to others.

And still she says she sleeps well even though her job entails sending bailiffs to people's houses for late payment... I doubt that very much unless the 1 cell left in her brain is also damaged.

Brainwashed money sucker monsters...

Had to go into the council office today because I was having problems accessing my online account plus I'm hearing aid dependent so can't hear clearly when using a phone,
The Lady on reception this morning was really curtious and helpful didn't make me feel rushed or uncomfortable and the Man who she contacted in the offices was the same curtious and helpful my enquiry was dealt with in a very short time, not made to feel like a nuisance thank you for a good experience,

Disgraceful, you can never get through to speak to anyone, no one wants to or can conveniently deal with your issue. I've been given my so-called refund for my council tax for a council I am no longer assigned to. Absolutely awful.

They are planning to demolish b&q utter discrace. They also are building these big towers of flats which makes sutton feel more like croydon. Overall they are a terrible council.
