We're sorry you feel that way. As our products (gift cards) are a cash-equivalent product, our return policies have to be fairly strict to protect our customers and our business. A returned card could later be fraudulently used by the original buyer. Thanks for your understanding.

Issues in ordering, but once order was placed, it was filled promptly

I called and emailed several reps without assistance and I received inaccurate/invalid info which created many unnecessary delays. I finally reached Shelly O. She helped quickly and answered all questions - and was nice! I wish I had reached her first. She even provided step by step directions to obtain a log in that I was able to forward to a colleague at another location. Once the order was actually placed, it was filled promptly.

I have been doing business with SVM for a few years now. I have never been offered a discount and I think we order plenty of gift cards in a year. SVM should offer specials periodically. Thank you!

From time to time, brands will provide a special bonus (for example, AMC Theaters gift cards will include a bonus free popcorn card in November). Issues

- Frustrating to access e-card codes.
- Unclear if you can purchase general Visa/Mastercard giftcards rather than store-specific gift cards.
- When I tried to call to clarify the above question I was sent to different departments.

Thank you for the feedback. We do sell Visa and Mastercard prepaid cards, but there's an approval process required by the US government to be able to purchase the card. Standard store brand gift cards don't have that approval requirement, since they can't be redeemed as widely. You were probably sent to different departments because we also offer fully customized prepaid cards (in addition to standard 'stock' cards). We'll work to clarify this information in our materials.

Difficulty contracting our representative

I've been having issues getting into contact with our company representative. Multiple times ive had to go through other representatives just to get an answer. There is no follow up if orders have issues, always our company investigating the issue. Its very frustrating.

Visa cards expire in one year and are very difficult to use either online or at a store. I would not purchase again.

We're sorry about your experience with Visa prepaid cards. SVM doesn't control the required expiration dates (we're following regulations placed on us by Visa, the issuing bank and US government); Expirations are clearly communicated on the card and in its accompanying materials. The cards can be redeemed in-store anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted, and redemption instructions are included with every card we sell. Again, I'm sorry for your experience. Perhaps a closed loop (store brand) gift card would be a better solution; Those cards do not expire and can be redeemed online or in-store at the brand's locations.
