took an £80 booking fee with a "guarantee" to have an engineer visit within 5 days ... the 5 day guarantee was importnat to me because I was selling the house and needed this issue fixed within 2 weeks maximum. When I had heard nothing after a few days, I tried to contact them ... I have sent emails, and tried calling them many times but they do not answer the phone at all. In the end I found someone else to come and do the work ... Do not give this company your money, they become un-contactable once you have paid the booking fee.

Swift fix 24/7 contacted me after I put an advert on one of the ‘find a trader’ type websites.
They took some information about the type of job and then offered two types of service, the first gets a plumber out within 24 hours, the next gets a plumber out within 5 days. Knowing how busy plumbers are directly and that my job wasn’t an emergency I booked the 5 day service.
For this they take a booking fee. I was sent the invoice which clearly states ‘we guarantee a qualified working professional will attend your property within 5 working days or your money back’. I paid this straight away.
They managed to find me a plumber 11 days later! When I sent them an email pointing this out, I received no reply.

When the plumber turned up, they didn’t have all of the information about the job and told them the person that booked them seemed desperate to find someone as soon as possible.
They took a look at the job and said they would need to get Yorkshire Water out so that my street stop tap was accessible and working before they could do the job in my house. Since then nothing has happened.
When I contacted Swift fix 24/7 they said the reason the plumber took longer than 5 days to visit my property was because ‘they had to seek council permission’ for the work. I believe they mean Yorkshire Water. The plumber did not know about this part until after they visited so I do not believe this at all.
They were misinformed about the state of the job and said that I had not approved the quote from the plumber (I have received no quote).
It is now 6 weeks since booking the job, I am no closer towards getting this fixed and they are refusing to refund the money despite it clearly being stated on the invoice.
I cannot recommend this company at all.
