I really love my new computer. It was packed well and delivery was very convenient. My only issue was the graphics card. It was not screwed into the housing. This was a minor fix on my end but it would have been more convenient for me if it had been attached correctly.

Firstly, I have a good opinion of System76 as a whole - both in hardware and software (Pop! OS) categories. I liked that the process to order was smooth and fast. However, I did not particularly enjoy the lack of up-to-date tracking while my order was in processing, somewhat to very opaque overall "in progress" state the entire time until all of a sudden it was tested, packed, and shipped at once. I also was not entirely satisfied with how opaque the parts selection was. In particular, I ordered an AMD powered desktop with an AM5 socket, and the only motherboard option presented to me was "with WiFi7 + Bluetooth 5" or not. So, it was rather disappointing to receive the item and find out that the motherboard installed was an ASRock device, which are currently in the news as being the culprit behind a significant number of ruined CPUs and Motherboards due to electrical failures. I understand that the primary market that System76 caters to is not necessarily gamers, however it would be a positive change to indicate that thermal performance may be severely impacted by the mostly solid design of the outer shell, as well as the incomplete forced air cooling system design for the CPU. The cooling system on the device that I received consisted of a single forced air exhaust fan and a rather large cooling fin stack within the cooling shroud, notably a forced air intake fan was not included. I have no doubt that the system was well integrated, and the build quality appeared to be stellar, but due to these concerns I had to return the device out of an abundance of caution before even first power-on.

Great Product. Personal Support.

Recently ordered a Thelio Mira custom. The ordering process was simple but the identity verification process--although understandable--was a bit excessive and required me to go back and forth with the fraud prevention team several times instead of doing everything in one go. Build time and shipping were acceptable. One annoying last note is that System76 lags behind in posting full system specs for their laptops and desktops and the full specs aren't on their main website but are posted on a different site altogether.

Overall experience was good. Ended up returning the product as I didn't need it.
The returns were easy but the return shipping was quoted as $14, but a total of $56 were deducted from the account. Also, there was no email update stating that the refund was provided until I asked them.

The website and experience was great. Only drawback was the code, which I totally understand but I did get concerned if was going to delay things but it didn't as thanks with the support team took care of it.

UPS is still charging the import taxes to end user and items are being returned. This situation was already confirmed that UPS would not do so but keeps ongoing

Top quality all around, from the component layout, to the case, to the PopLinux install. Very impressed.
I had a few issues with NVidia drivers (who doesn’t) and their support team responded quickly, and resolved everything for me. They even followed up a few days later with supporting info.
I am very pleased to now be a forever customer of System76

Hardware is awesome.The wait to get this was tough. My biggest issue is that your 2 Linux choices both were based on systemd init . There are many issues with systemd and goes against the true nature of Linux and open source. Like anything where control is consolidated, corruption is made easy. I installed Artix Linux with openrc init and the Cinnamon Desktop.

Pangolin 15 laptop total hardware failure, within four months of purchase. Returned the laptop for repair and cannot get a response from support regarding the status. $2000 down the drain?

Great support, especially considering the computer was out of warranty. Above and beyond.

I love my new Thelio Mira! The ordering process was simple and the computer was assembled and shipped in about 10 business days. Everything worked perfect out of the box. The Nvidia card and drivers were all set up and run with no issues. The hardware is all clean and high quality. This is the best computer I've ever owned.

System 76 has made Pop-Os my one and only op-sys

Wasn't built to the order specs. This is the second time it has happened to me. On a third build, the cable wasn't connected to the extra SSD drive so it wasn't found at boot time.

The computer never arrived

UPS claims that someone named "CECE" received it, however there's no one by that name in the house. I made a claim with UPS to no avail.

I raised ticket 225275 with System76 support yesterday and still don't have an answer but for the automated response.

I have timing issues with this order.

Added June 20th: support generated replacement order. After 8 days, machine was not built and ETA seems to be 3 more weeks. The timing issues exploded and noone cared.

Support took more than 4 days to reply to multiple messages.

I stand by my 1 star rating.

awesome product, quick shipping and easy to get it setup and configured. I did install fedora on it, went flawlessly. Keep up the good work!

I ordered a server instead of a notebook asked for an exchange

Basically just made a few connections and turned it on. It's been flawless so far. I haven't done any bench-marking, but it appears to be very fast.

I initially had trouble completing my purchase of a Lemur Pro because Apple Pay on the site wasn’t working, and there was no message indicating that. Unfortunately, by the time I could pay, the price had gone up by $200.

It was frustrating at first, but when I reached out, Bill listened carefully and escalated the issue. The company refunded the difference without hesitation. That kind of professionalism and customer care stood out to me.

I’ve only had the Lemur Pro for a short time, but I already love it — it’s lightweight, fast, thoughtfully designed, and a joy to use. The build quality and overall experience exceeded my expectations.

Thanks to both the product and the support I received, I feel confident recommending System76. Mistakes happen — how a company handles them is what matters.
