If you are looking for a driving instructor who is patient, highly adaptable, and genuinely dedicated to your success, look no further than Mike Lynsall at Systems Driving School.

Mike recently helped me pass my practical test first time—following in the footsteps of my partner, who also passed first time with him last year. After seeing how brilliant he was, I had high expectations, and Mike exceeded every single one of them.

Here is why I cannot recommend him highly enough:

Incredible Patience: Learning to drive can be really stressful, but Mike is unbelievably calm and patient. He has an amazing ability to make you feel completely relaxed behind the wheel, breaking things down step-by-step and never making you feel rushed or pressured.

Highly Flexible: He was always incredibly accommodating with scheduling, making it easy to fit lessons into a busy lifestyle without any added stress.

Engaging Teaching Style: His "trainer antics" and coaching background definitely shine through! He has a fantastic, energetic way of explaining concepts that makes everything click, keeping the lessons fun (with an added bit of banter along the way... ) rather than clinical.

Mike doesn't just teach you how to pass a test; his dedication ensures you actually become a safe, competent driver for life. If you want the best chance of passing first time with an instructor who actually cares, book with Mike! Thanks Mike it's been a journey but a fun yet interesting one!

I cannot thank Mark Robertson enough. I needed to get my license fairly quickly as I’m moving abroad. Mark worked with me through my anxieties and got me test ready in a couple months, and I passed today first time. Was a great experience and he made me really comfortable with driving, as it’s something I was very anxious about before. Truly recommend Mark and System. 10/10 - thank you Mark!!

ATTENTION ALL PDI'S!!! If you are thinking of learning to become a driving instructor, do yourself a favour and do not go down the national school route. If you're in the Essex region, get yourself down to System Driving School and speak with Jim or Gary.
I'm with one of the national schools who failed at every opportunity to provide a decent service and consistently fell short of their extremely low standards bar when it came to training. I'm not going to say who they are (Bill Plant), but don't be tempted by their offers of cheap deals and PDI franchises. Hidden within the small print is an extremely binding contract, which once you pass, you will find it almost impossible to get out of. I'm assuming it's the same for all of the different schools.
A couple of lessons with Jim Miller who showed me my shortfalls, remedied them and filled me full of confidence for my third attempt at part 3. Passed!!
A massive massive thanks to all at System who couldn't do enough for me!

My driving instructor was Kelsie Spincer she was absolutely amazing, she was very knowledgeable and patient with me in my lessons and right before my test she helped calm my nerves and I passed first time I can’t thank her enough x

My experience with System Driving School was very smooth from the start. Nick Harnden was my instructor for the last 4 months who I found through the System Driving School website. Throughout my learning, Nick was punctual and accommodating around my work schedule. He would never hesitate to explain things again if I needed so I would definitely recommend him to others who are also looking to start driving.

Made driving simple and understandable. And over all has made me a confident driver. Would recommend to anyone who’s starting driving .

Sarah was a fantastic driving instructor. She went through every little bit thoroughly and smoothly. Does very well explaining bit you struggle with. I was able to pass my driving test first time with her help. Fantastic teacher would highly recommend.

Amazing Experience with Mark S, made me feel confident behind the wheel and always explained things in a way that made it easy to understand and quickly incorporate into my driving. Just passed my test and did my first big solo motorway drive. I wouldn't of felt as confident if it wasn't for the amazing driving tuition that I've had!

Richard is an amazing driving instructor!!! I would definitely recommend him for anyone who is wanting to learn how to drive, I passed first time due to his experience as well as he’s a great person in general to get along and always encourages to bring out the best in people’s driving.

Helped me pass my test. Very helpful

I really enjoyed my lessons with him, he is really helpful and explains everything clearly which I found very helpful when other past instructors didn't explain why and how to do a maneuver, road positioning -especially when coming up to difficult roundabouts.

Martin Perry was a great instructor helping me pass my driving test with easy and getting 0 minors on my test. Couldn’t recommend him anymore he was great!

Rik Norris at System Driving School:
We chose Rik to teach our son to drive as he came highly recommended.
He was patient, kind, knowledgeable and thorough.
We were so happy with him and our son passed first time.
We would highly recommend Rik Norris

Jim always turned up on time and always managed to fit me in at a time that suited me around work. He was a great instructor and helped me amend my driving style in order to pass my test first time. Would 100% recommend!

Martin Rookard is really good instructor. He helped me a lot during driving sessions and made me capable for passing the practical driving test.

Ash is a wonderful person to learn driving from. He is a very good instructor who teaches you with patience. His teaching is structured well and he concentrates on our weaknesses and builds confidence. He takes us to all the test routes and helps to overcome driving anxiety. I highly recommend Ash as he is a great instructor to learn driving safely and quickly.

Just passed my test today and wanted to say thank you to the whole System team for incredible experience and service and of course to my instructor Mike who got me in an anxious state, when I was scared of cars and driving altogether and couple of months later I did my test confidently from the first time. Thank you Mike for your hard work and dedication, and for finding the approach that worked this well in my case!! I am very grateful and appreciate it a lot!

Dan is an excellent driving instructor, He is very patient professional and encouraging. He helped me improve my driving skills and build my confidence . Thanks to his guidance and support.
