Their shoes are ok, but their sizing is not standard. Any pair of shoes that is even slightly on sale is sold as final sale / no refund. They wouldn't exchange to correct for size. Customer service team is generally unhelpful.

Worst customer service ever! I ordered a pair of shoes and there was a defective shoe lace. Not a big idea you’d think a shoe company could just replace them! No I’ve been waiting for customer service to confirm they’ll replace them and so far I’ve just been ghosted!
In addition while this was going on and before I came up against the lousy customer service, I preferred 2 pair of runners in sale! They emailed me to advise one was no longer available but they were still going to charge the full delivery. I wouldn’t have paid the delivery for a single pair as it was almost 50% of the shoe price! They should have given me options but instead when I voiced my dissatisfaction they stopped communicating ie ghosted me! I felt that this was a bit of bait and switch! This is thé worst customer l have ever run up against so my recommendation is beware! Customer service is absolutely brutal!

Terrible customer service. I still have not received my shoes. They are not moving through the mail at all. Then they sent me a claim form that only allows me to reorder instead of getting a refund! Horrible experience and I would never order again directly from them. Use another vendor if ordering Taos.

I haven’t received the shoe yet to write a review on the actual product because they dropped the ball and forgot to ship them off. It wasn’t until I emailed a week later to ask why I haven’t received a shipping email. Of course right after the email, my order was shipped. Now I get to wait another week. No apologies, no response to my emails, no courtesy discount for forgetting my order. $170 shoes plus shipping, and this is their customer service?!? The shoe better be good!! I suggest buying direct from another company that sells their product, not from their website.

The Taos sandals are thin soled and uncomfortable. I cannot return them because they were sale items. When I call Customer Service, I get a promotion for a medical device. Good bye forever Taos!

I purchased 3 pairs of sneakers and returned 2 because they were too small. When I requested a return label I clearly put both pairs of sneakers on it. I printed and returned but was only refunded for 1 pair. I found their phone number(which was not easy) and they informed me that they do not take phone calls.
They won’t even respond anymore. Incredibly frustrating and unfair.
They are a scam.

Like others who have posted, the customer service is a joke. I placed an order on 6/16/26 and the package has been sitting in Texas since 6/17 with no movement. I want my money back and keep getting canned responses saying to file a claim for a replacement pair. I don’t want a replacement. I want a refund. I found the shoes at a local shoe store (should have just done that in the first place, but I’ve never had this issue with an online order before). Just do yourself a favor and purchase their shoes from a 3rd party and not directly from their website.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

Not only are their shoes not well made, and incredibly overpriced, they don't do returns or exchanges. Even if the shoes are new.

I received a pair of sandals and tried them out ONCE, realizing they didn't give the support promised, and the velcro brushed against my ankle. Very uncomfortable shoes. So naturally, I wanted to return or exchange them.

The "bot" of a customer service program they have is a total joke. I had to contact them numerous times to even get what resembled a human answer, and that was probably still a bot. "It'" said that because I wore them at all they couldn't be returned or exchanged. What kind of a shoe company has this policy?

Secondly, they botched my tracking number. Not sure how they couldn't even get that right, but whenever I checked for the tracking status, it gave me a complete different address, and kept saying it had been delivered a week prior. Very strange.

I doubt they'll stay in business long with this kind of system, and I hope they don't. Or change their attitude.

WARNING DO NOT SUPPORT this business. Very disappointing… awful business. Customer service is certainly not a priority with this company. I ordered a pair of sandals on 6/30/26. Immediately after completing my purchase I realized the shipping address was incorrect. I immediately emailed customer service and received an automated response that someone would follow up. The following day. 7/1/26 I received an email advising that my shipping address could not be updated.
I called customer service and again was advised my shipping address could not be updated. I am appalled that these people would not handle such a simple request to update my shipping address especially since I notified them immediately.
I find it very difficult to believe there are as many satisfied customers as the reviews on their website suggest. Now my shoes are being shipped to an address in Georgia and I live in California. A waste of my hard earned money with their customer service reps advising it’s not their fault I shipped to an address that was set due to a previous purchase I made to a different company and sent as a gift to someone in Ga. I will make it my business to tell everyone what a completely horrible company this is to purchase from.

My shoes shipped in a timely manner. I had an issue with size and the return was handled promptly and easily. I am very pleased with the comfort and quality of these shoes. I now own several pairs. My latest pair of sneakers that I ordered I was able to use loyalty points for a discount. I highly recommend this company

The customer service I experienced has been awful. I was instructed to fill in a warranty claim when the stitching in my sandals started degrading on my 2nd time wearing them. Secondary issue, a defect in the pin of one buckle sticks straight up, it will not lie flat.
I filled in the claim. 2 weeks later, no response. I reached out and was told to resubmit and email the Canadian email for assistance. I did that. They asked for details (that they should have access to after filing 2 warranty claims) and was told to send pictures. It has now been a month. No help and no resolution for a pair of sandals that cost more than $200.
Do better Taos!

After placing an order on Sat, I was immediately notified it would be sent to address on my credit card with no way to change the address. How did they know my credit card number? I instantly wrote to change the address and had reply that it was outside business hours, then got notice package was sent. Today, Monday, they replied it was mailed and nothing they could do. I won't get package until I return home in Sept. Very poor way to do business and I'd never use them again.

I bought some sneakers for an upcoming vacation and pulled them out to ‘break them in’ beforehand but it wasn’t necessary! These are now my ‘go to shoes’!

These are some of the highest quality sandles I have ever owned. I ordered 2 pairs and because one of the pairs was a bit wide on my feet, the company gave me free shipping to return them, and then sent me a much better fitting shoe AND issued me a credit right away for the difference in price - the communication was fast and friendly. I highly recommend this company!!!

I purchased my very first pair that was about $150 from here. They felt very comfortable, but within the first three hours of wearing them there was a significant scuff on the toe. I literally sat and played with babies almost that whole time so it made no sense. Why I already got a scuff on it. So I’ve contacted the company and they told me to fill out the warranty card which I did and send them pictures and they told me it was normal wear and tear and refused to replace them for. Give me a discount or refund or anything. I will absolutely never purchase from them again.

Taos Footwear is a phenomenal company and their Crave boots are incredible. I have custom orthotics, but this footbed is so supportive that I don’t even need my orthotics. I have multiple foot issues—bunions, hammertoes, ligament laxity, flat feet, and LLD. Even with all that, the support in the Crave boot is more effective for me than custom orthotics. Sometimes, because of these issues in the toe box area of my feet, I need a wide width, but the regular width with the Crave boot is more than sufficient for me. Moreover, they are stunning, with whisper soft leather and dreamy lining. Now I need the red pair!

Extremely fast shipping. Beautiful high quality ultra comfortable sandal. Highly recommend will be buying more for sure
