Misleading marketing tactics
I placed a backpack in my shopping cart, I did not purchase the time so that I could take time to think things over before I made the purchase. Within a few minutes I was sent a text message from Targus for additional 15% off my order if I would purchase mix 24 hours. I returned to the shopping cart and applied the discount code however the discount code was not accepted and after several minutes with customer service I was told that I was not able to use that discount because I was already receiving a discount on my product. Why did the company offer me or entice me to make a purchase with an additional discount when they had no intentions of honoring it. Their marketing tactics are very misleading and I refuse to purchase the item from them

Advertisement said quality bamboo sheets on sale which I fell for. Received 100% polyester substitute. Horrendous customer service stated they considered I got what I ordered!! End of communication! Had to claim back from them through my credit card. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Scammers. Another cheap Chinese shopfront misappropriating money from Australians by trying to deny refund responsibilities. SHOCKERS!!!

5 stars because I got a great price on this bag (marked down to $20). I love it except
(1) the pull-strips to adjust the shoulder straps are too long – they drag on the ground when I carry the bag in my hand and get dirty.
(2) The laptop compartment does not have a closure tab, to keep the laptop from sliding out if bag is turned upside down.

Targus support is awful, possibly designed to make you go away.
I like Targus products, but the support was awful, inexcusably so. My product was defective (probably defectively designed because the piece that made my iPad cover stand up, became unglued). Rather than the promised 5-6 days to send out a new product, it took about 5-6 WEEKS. (I also had to pay for the shipping and tracking of my product, about $10) And, whenever I wanted to find out the status of my replacement product because it was taking so long, I had to open a new ticket just to make an inquiry. On one of my follow ups, they had no idea they'd received the product back from me. (Good thing I had that tracking number they made me pay for.) When I finally got my replacement product and completed their online survey, there was no way to have someone contact me. Targus, please let your customers know the status of their claim on an ongoing basis by making it easy to log in to find out where things stand. Customer Service said they closed the claim b/c it was sent to the Warranty people, and that they had no idea what the Warranty people were doing, so make sure your Customer Service people have access to the Warranty information! In the meantime, my IPAD was unprotected for this entire 5-6 weeks until I received the replacement. Although your personnel were unfailingly polite, they had no information to offer. PS- I got an email saying my case was closed BEFORE I got my replacement delivered. I should also note that the replacement product was different from my original product with no note to explain. Sorry for the prattling, I'm really annoyed at Targus for the poor support. Life is short so I will stop now!

I have tried several times to return an item and I never received any thing back regarding my return. The case does not fit my iPad and I need to return it.
Great backpack.
I have had the same Targus backpack since 2017 or 18 ( a model TSB21EU-70 according to the label) Not knowing about backpacks, I chose it because it was made of recycled product and it turned out to be an excellent buy. I use it ~5 days out of 7 and it still looks as good as new. No pulled stitches, zips all work, easy to clean. Can't ask for more.
