I ordered two chairs in first part of December. Once I got a response that the production will take 5 - 8 weeks (initially I was told that it’s 14 days for delivery). 3 months past, I write emails every second day, no response, I tried to text on their WhatsApp. I got response from my first text that I have a question. And since I asked my question about my order - silence. I guess the company does not exist and it’s a scam( I have no idea if there is a way to get money back(

Do not buy anything from this company
Ordered a chair from this company in September 25 and arrived late December. Unpacked the chair and noticed cuts on the leather, staples showing all around the back of the upholstery and the joints on the arms of the chair were knobbly and had been filled. It looked awful. Immediately contacted the company by email and sent pics. Was contacted a week later by “Elliot” who said that under my warranty they would have this repaired and would organise a furniture repair specialist to visit. After a month of emails we finally had an appointment for the specialist to visit. Their report was that it was irreparable and had been wrongly upholstered and arm joints were poorly manufactured. Also they noticed there was no batch number on the chair. I was advised to have it returned or replaced. I therefore sent the report to tavolo over a month ago and they have not responded. I must say, advice to anyone considering using this company is DO NOT. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and am shocked at the quality of their products and complete lack of customer service.

Late delivery
I’ve ordered and paid for 2 sofas in November 2025. I’ve still not received any information regarding the delivery- 12 weeks later 😳

SCAM – NOT A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS
I ordered a sofa with a promised 1-week delivery. After a week with no shipping information, I contacted the company and was told by someone named “Elliot” that delivery would instead take 6–10 weeks.
I waited the full timeframe.
After 6, 8, and 10+ weeks I emailed multiple times — no response.
They also do not respond to the WhatsApp number listed on their website.
When I commented on their Instagram page to warn others, they blocked me instead of resolving the issue.
I have now disputed the payment and am preparing to take legal action.
Do not buy from this company.
This is not a genuine online furniture retailer.

We ordered two beautiful looking chairs in early August 2025. Website said approx 3-4 weeks for delivery. Heard nothing so we chased in September to be told there was a delay in manufacturing and they were expected in October. October and November came and went, more chasing, still no chairs. December came, more chasing and we were told, the chairs are on their way. We even had a tracking link! Then we were told the courier would get in touch to arrange a date. No word from the courier. Eventually managed to speak to them and they said there was an issue with the labelling of the furniture and the matter had been passed back to Tavolo. January 20th came, still no chairs. We were told, definitely the end of the week but nothing. Last Friday I called Amex and requested a chargeback based on this protracted delay so we'll be refunded but it's all just extremely annoying as I've taken a lot of time with all the chasing. Buyer beware!!
Scam company..be warned
Absolutely shocking. Take your money with a clear intention of not supplying the goods. Tavolo are active…recent changes to their website show they are still attempting to draw customers in to steal their money. I am so angry I did not read the significant number of customer reviews who have also been victims of this website scam. Be warned do not buy anything from Tavolo as you will join the many customers who have been ripped off by them.

Do not buy anything from this company; they are a fraud. The business is all website and no product. Tavolo promises delivery in 6-8 weeks, then takes your money, and you never hear from them again. I've chased and chased, and they never respond. I'll now pursue a refund through a credit card chargeback.
Paid in full in June, still no product or refund by February
I placed an order for a custom chair with Tavolo in June and fully paid upfront. Since then, I have experienced nothing but continuous delays, broken promises, and extremely poor communication.
Over the course of more than six months, I was repeatedly given optimistic delivery timelines that were never met. I was told the chair was in production, in final finishing, ready in 10–14 days, before Christmas, etc. None of these statements turned out to be true. Photos were promised multiple times and never provided.
After months of chasing and being patient, I finally requested a full refund, which Tavolo themselves confirmed they would issue. Despite providing my bank details, I have still not received the refund, nor any further response. It is now February, and my money has effectively been held for an unreasonably long time with no resolution.
This level of service is unacceptable from both a legal and customer-rights perspective. The lack of accountability, transparency, and basic follow-up has been extremely disappointing. I deeply regret doing business with this company and would strongly advise others to be very cautious before placing an order.

Great piece of furniture but very delayed
I ordered a wood and leather armchair in Aug 2025. I received it in Jan 2026. The armchair is beautiful and very well crafted, exactly as described. But delivery was a joke… Manufacturing took longer than expected, then it took couple of weeks for the chair to arrive to the UK via container shipping, then Tavolo had an issue with their local UK delivery company. In the end, I paid the delivery company the delivery fee. Communication from Tavolo via WhatsApp was consistent though and they have now offered to refund me the delivery fee I paid. Overall because the armchair is of good quality I give them 4 stars but get ready for delays and back and forth contacting

This company is a scam. Do not buy from them. Do not give them a penny. We ordered a sofa which did not turn up after 6 months of emails telling us they had problems with couriers. Totally dishonest service and still haven’t refunded us.
Incompetent or fraudulent?
Unfortunately this company appears to be at best incompetent but potentially fraudulent. We ordered two Kofod Larsen Vintage Wood Armchairs with an advertised 3 weeks delivery timeframe. Immediately after paying we were emailed to be told it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery, which did not work for us as we needed the furniture for an event at Christmas. I asked for a refund and was told that they had found a way to expedite the delivery and that it would be with us in just two weeks. Two weeks went by and no meaningful updates could be provided by "Emma" who was responding so vaguely that i suggested she sounded like a "bot". Magically "Elloit" then took over the emails and assured me everything was with the courier ready for delivery. I eventually managed to get the details of the courier from them but when I called them they did not have any record of my order or delivery. Communications then ceased for several weeks and we did not receive our order for Christmas. I cannot get any meaningful information from the company, they will not call me as i have requested nor can i get them to even respond to my request for a refund so will have to pursue them via my credit card company.
Exercise extreme caution before you place an order!
We purchased a Lexington sofa and 2 Kofod chairs in late August. To begin with we were told our delivery would be 5 weeks. Tavolo communicated via whatsapp (which seemed strange) and occaiaisonal emails.
In mid December after a lot of chasing we were advised of a delivery date just prior to Xmas. Nothing arrived and when we chased email responses were sproadic, no one answers the mobile number. Tavolo have refunded £223 in the last week for the inconvenience but still not confirmed a delivery date. Eventually we contacted the logisitcs company who have agreed to deliver if we pay £252. Tavolo are not responding. Awful customer service

I ordered a modular sofa for £1500 on their website in Feb of 2025. The sofa didn't arrive on the 3rd of May. One of modules was the wrong corner and one of the modules came with a manufacturing defect (broken seam). I contacted them right away and they said they would send a replacement of the module and send someone to repair the broken seam. The replacement arrived on 29th of May but it was also the wrong corner. Now they've sent a replacement wrong TWICE. They said they would send a replacement again but then they went silent for a while so i raised a dispute with my bank. They immediately got in touch and agreed to give me a £500 refund and send a new one if i closed the case with the bank. I closed it, and then they keep promising a redelivery. however, it is now January 2026 and i still haven't received neither the refund of £500 nor the replacement sofa. They wont respond to my emails anymore. they're a scam. dont buy from them!

An Honest Review - Be Cautious
My experience with Tavolo has been mixed. Although my furniture was ultimately never delivered due to a combination of issues, I think it’s only fair to assess the overall process and how the situation was handled.
I placed my order in August and was advised by Emma that delivery would take place by 10 October. This did not happen. Prior to ordering, I was sent reference photos of furniture to help me choose the Togo sofa style and colour. Unfortunately, the advice I was given turned out to be incorrect. When I later received photos of my actual items, it was clear they did not match what I had been led to expect.
The other item I ordered, a coffee table, was never photographed or shared with me at all, so I’m unable to comment on its quality or how closely it resembled the item advertised on the website.
Once I received the sofa photos, I raised concerns with Elliot, explaining that the items were not fit for purpose as they did not align with how they had been described during the purchasing process. Over the course of two to three weeks, I repeatedly requested a refund. I was consistently told that the only way to receive my money back would be to accept delivery of the items and then request a return. At that point, delivery was supposedly scheduled for mid-November.
By the start of December, nothing had been delivered. Communication from Tavolo had become increasingly limited despite multiple attempts to contact them. Given the circumstances and my dissatisfaction with the items, I raised a chargeback with my bank and again asked Tavolo to cancel the order, as accepting delivery purely to return the items made little sense—especially when they were not as described.
After over a week without a response, Elliot eventually confirmed that, on this occasion, the owner of Tavolo would accept the chargeback and cancel the order entirely, with no delivery taking place. This conversation occurred in early December.
Approximately a week later, Tavolo offered £200 in compensation for the experience, on the condition that my Trustpilot review be removed. I explained that while I was happy to accept the compensation, I would still be leaving an honest and balanced summary of my experience. The £200 was eventually paid, though not when promised, and I did have to chase this again—another example of less-than-ideal customer service.
Overall, I am satisfied with how the situation has been resolved, although I am still awaiting completion of the chargeback, which is now in the bank’s hands and I expect it will be finalised in due course.
The experience caused a lot of unnecessary stress, and I ultimately received no furniture from a furniture business. That said, Tavolo did make efforts to turn the situation into a more positive outcome in the end. I would simply advise future customers to be cautious regarding lead times and to ensure clarity around what is being ordered. It appears to be a small business with attractive products, but the customer experience would benefit significantly from improvement.
Great but know what you are buying!
Okay.... so there are good points and some not so good BUT overall I cannot fault the product received and I would recommend BUT know who you are buying from.
The good.... we purchased the Kofod Larsen Vintage Wood Armchair. At £450 it was a tenth of the price of the designer brands. It looks great and overall is good value for money.
The not so good ... artificial leather or authentic vintage leather we have no idea what we ended up with but it does look good. The cushioning of the seat could be slightly comfier and better quality. The delivery took ages and the infamous Emma gave us the same 3 week lead time email response but within days we received a notification to say it had been shipped.
So who are you buying from. The website describes the journey starting in 2005 and quality craftsmanship.... when some (unnamed crafter) a master in his field commenced the business and handed it over to his son in 2016 ... however I see no evidence of this ... the business was incorporated a couple of years ago, is registered to a serviced office in the Burton Upon Trent and buys and ships product to order from the Middle East/far east, well did in the case of my great chair.
So as long as don't mind waiting, know you are buying from an importer of Eastern manufactured products, then you'll get a nice looking vintage chair for a 10th of the price!

I just received the Kofod Larsen Armchair and Edris Coffee Table, they made sure they prioritized my delivery before Christmas because I’m going on holiday and they absolutely saved that day, amazing service!
