The report I received from Taxdrop was delivered quickly and included details I would not have considered that benefitted my argument. I actually had no good guidance from the city apart from getting comps from a real estate agent and utilizing the city's own portal to make my own argument. Compared to what the assessor presented at the hearing, I thought Taxdrop included very pertinent information beyond data tables and analysis. The report I received included a summary of findings that were easy to understand and included qualitative information such as market conditions to support the external market environment impacting homebuyer sentiment. I ended up with a settlement of 15% reduction on the value of my property, which is over $1,200 that the government will refund in the next few weeks. I'm very grateful that something like this exists because I would have been woefully ill prepared for a court hearing agains the tax assessor.
