I love their tea and did love their accessories but this last purchase changed things.

I had 4 matcha bowl in green/tan that are beautiful, nicely textured and look hand made in Japan. Sadly we broke one.

So I just logged in and ordered a new one this time in red. What I got was nothing like the old first bowls. The new one has no texture, looks mass produced, not a product of Japan. I can get a similar cereal bowl at Tescos for a quarter of the price.

I'm deeply disappointed and praying this isn't a sign of cheaping all product lines to chase profit.

I ordered matcha ira sencha as a gift for my tea loving boyfriend. My order got flagged at customs and held. After waiting two weeks I contacted tealyra customer service. It took about a day and they responded with a sincere apology for the frustration and promptly reshipped my order. I am very pleased with their product and their customer service. I will definitely order again!

We bought 2 rapidTEA 16oz tea makers in 2025 March to stock up to replace other ones when needed. We opened the boxes last month and started using them, we were quite surprised to see that the infusers are NOT removable! We thought that was strange because we have been using this type of tea makers for more than 13 years since they came out in 2012. On March 23 we went to their website trying to look for cleaning instructions and discovered that the 16oz is no longer available but we looked at the 30oz and it has a different (normal) removable infuser. We also watched a youtube video on the 16oz which the same tea maker has a removable infuser! That same day we emailed their customer service to kindly explain to us how we ended up getting the NON-removable infuser and it would be great if they can provide us with a way to remove it to thoroughly clean it? we were NOT looking for compensation of any kind because it was our fault that we did not open the boxes to check when we received them over a year ago. They did not bother to apologize so we resent that message 4 days on March 27 giving them the benefit of the doubt that the first email might have gone to their spam mailbox? They did not bother to respond at all. All we were looking for was a sincere apology. Avoid this seller!

Ordered some loose leaf for my mom's birthday because she's always drinking tea. She loved it so much I ended up ordering for myself. The earl grey is really good, not bitter at all.

I decided to switch up my routine and bought a couple of their grandma's darden fruit blend and the bourbon vanilla rooibos. The flavors are incredibly punchy without needing to add any sweeteners. I've been brewing large pitchers to keep in the fridge for cold tea, and it turns out absolutely fantastic every time. The sturdy resealable pouches are a nice touch too, keeping the leaves super fresh in my pantry.

Tea itself is great, no complaints there. Took almost 2 weeks to arrive though which was longer than expected. Would still order again but plan ahead.

Got the matcha sampler to try different grades. Actually tastes like matcha now, way better than what I was buying before.

Well what can I say if I could give 10* it wouldn’t be enough! The products are amazing. Superb quality. I purchased four different items & here are my comments regarding three of those. The Dubai Pistachio bars are absolutely delicious! The ginger is incredible with just the right amount of heat to it. Organic Matcha Coconut Drink is to die for. It’s so smooth & creamy had it as a Latte with Oat Milk but will try it with some coconut milk soon. The blend of the Matcha is incredible dissolved without any issue. I will definitely be purchasing more items & highly recommend this company. Well done TEALYRA!

Got some pu-erh and green tean, both are great quality.Hightly recommend!

I found about their teas at the office when a colleague brought some for us, and we've been ordering regularly for 5 months now, never got bored of it.

I have ordered 10 different Green Teas to find out which one I would like best to order on a regular basis. Result: all are of incredibly high quality and taste great. I'm very pleased with the teas, but also with the service: they were kind and forthcoming, as I must have entered my post code wrong, so the parcel was sent back to Tealyra. After we found the mistake, they sent me the parcel again, free of cost. This will definitely be my new supplier for my Japanese green teas. Before, I was buying from the Japan centre in Panton Street, thinking the Japanese should know best about their country's products. Not so: Any green tea I've tasted from Tealyra beats even the most expensive Gyokuro from the Japan centre.

Products are great - when they are in stock , which isn’t v often! - customer service is non existent - they completely ignore you - I tried to find out when the Rose instant will be available to order again - don’t understand why a company would ignore a customer who buys from them regularly.

I received a delivery of their glass teapot on August 1. The teapot lid had not even been attached to the hinge and so was just loose. Should never have passed QA let alone packed and sent to a customer. Every day since then (7days) I have tried to contact customer care via their website, 2 e-mail addresses, left voice messages and just SILENCE!! Avoid this seller.
