From start to finish excellent customer service by phone n email
Was able to book home collection am disabled
He called 15 mins ahead and helped my grandson with the bags
Paid exactly to how the terms n conditions described look forward to my next booking n passing in new n nearly new items that no longer serve me due to my disability n grand children items

I had 160kg of good condition, wearable clothes - which is what I weighed out the night before and I received £80 (50p per kilo as detailed). Obviously you would get more selling yourself but this was so practical. Cannot fault the service, I had it collected from my home which was so easy! Fab service and glad to know it will all go to good use. Thank you!

Called the general number. Explained we had lots of bags of clean clothing, pairs of shoes and hand bags.
Was told we could drop off at the Watford branch.
Arrived and started to unload the bags, the female assistant then complained they were elderly persons clothes!
Although all clean and some branded clothes, she insisted they were to be sent to Eastern Europe.
She started to go through the bags to make separate piles, i said I don’t want to leave with bags of clothes after her sifting through to choose what she wanted!
I asked why it isn’t on the website regarding the type of clothes they are looking for.
At this point i said please give me all the clothes back.
A complete waste of time and fuel!
Should make it clear on website or be told over the phone that they will pick and choose or let people know what clothes they will take?

Rude staff on phone and at shops.no parking and exceptionally rude neighbours. Also try and scam you out of stuff. Drivers are mostly also rude and throw your clothing back at you. They also regularly undercut you in value for your items and because they do it behind the van it's impossible to watch them.
Scammers.

I gave them 18 bags full of clothes, shoes, and handbags, yet the collector claimed they weighed only 54kg. That figure is completely unrealistic – for comparison, two full-size travel bags usually weigh around 22kg. There is no way 18 bags come to only 54kg unless their scales are deliberately inaccurate.

The driver used what looked like a dodgy weighing machine and then handed me a shockingly low payout of just £28. It felt less like a service and more like a deliberate scam to underpay customers.

To make matters worse, they turned up before 8am (mine came at 7:20am) even though collections are supposed to be after 8am. Completely unprofessional and badly managed from start to finish.

This company’s practices are dishonest, misleading, and exploitative. I will never use them again, and I strongly advise others to avoid them unless you want to be underpaid and taken advantage of.

Used Basildon teddy cash for clothes before and never ever had a problem before but today two female workers were so rude it was unreal they snatch bags out you’re hands and then start talking in another language in front of you think you’re workers need to learn some RESPECT and to get what hardly seemed worth the weight of the items

I have used this service many times before and I have never had a complaint however today I am unsure. The driver was fabulous and very helpful but I know the weight was incorrect as I had weighed roughly each bag before and when I questioned he was in such a rush that I didn't get time to think. I know i was given less and I did question it but he didnt really answer and he left very qickly after off after giving the money. I have used them before and never had this issue and am so disappointed as I read the previous reviews and disagreed with them . He was polite and helped with bags but I couldn't see the weighing as he carried the bags to the van for me.very helpful that way but defo got less, whether it was an accident or deliberate I don't know

Easy way to get rid of clothes however, when they say to dispute the amount of money given at the time, drivers become aggressive and rude, even if you have weighed the clothes yourself at home and know the clothes are worth more. Used service quite a few times and each time they tend to rip bags and throw clothes on the floor, not helping to pick them up at all. Furthermore, very different experiences when I drop clothes off and when my father does. Just because he doesn’t speak English very well, doesn’t mean you have a right to be dismissive and disrespectful. Will not be using again.

Great and reliable. Fully understandable why some clothes can’t be taken.

Very disappointed read reviews people stated received good cash rewards took nearly all new items many items labelled dresses worth £30 received a Petty £3 for a big bag

Very fast and good service , I always use them for my charity clothes. Never had an issue , always been on time . Highly recommend them .

Absolutely awful, I had a bag that was full of brand new clothes most still had labels on because they were brought and ver worn and I was told they are not good quality, the guy was insulting me by pulling faces at all the clothes I had and was saying not good not good even tho they had labels on, will not be using this service again

I went to the Enfield, Riley Road Teddys Cash for clothes this afternoon and I am not happy with the attitude of the woman who works there, I took a whole car full of bags of clothes, she started checked up to 7 kilos and started shoving other clothes which she didnt want into a bag and gave them back to me, then she started checking other customers clothings which I don't think was fair as she was checking my clothes first, then she said very rudely and abruptly " no more and there's other people who waits too, you just give me your rubbish here and you have to wait" and she takes so long to check the clothes, the last time I went there she spent over 2 hours checking the clothes from the people in front and took up alot of my time, but its just her attitude and shes very very rude, that even though she was checking my clothes, she just checks others which meant I was at the back of the queue when I should had been in front which I thought was bloody right out of order. I just took the bags of clothes as i was very offended and felt very uncomfortable and left,so whatever money she had for me for the first bit of clothing she checked, she can bloody well keep it and stuff it.😡😡😡😡😡😡 it has put me off going to anymore cash for clothes places, I only go to cash for clothes to make a bit of money as I am going through a difficult financial time as I had to pay for some things which went wrong with my car and I was trying to re emburse my loss and this is how I get treated and its not good. They just make you feel so miserable 😪 and from now on I will find other ways to make money, at the end of the day people who goes to cash for clothes are customers and they should not be treated so uncourteously, especially not like that.

Teddy’s cash 4 clothes is great way to declutter. It’s a simple easy service and the team are extremely helpful. Been using the service for a number of years and never had an issue.

Great service , i have used this company a few times. Always reliable and excellent timing.
The driver was also very helpful with the carrying. 10/10 service plus paid a small fee for your unwanted clothes,shoes and bags

Very rude arrived 45mins tea prior closing time the lady that works there did not speak. I asked her if we are okay for time she said she isn’t sure. Treated very bad clothes all over the floor very disrespectful would never go here I’ve taken all the bags and gave them to charity. Keep away would be my advice ( Enfield Branch)

Great service. Friendly driver who helped carry boxes downstairs. No quibble although I did not personally get to see the weight and scale. However, the driver seemed friendly and honest enough that I did not question the quotation given. Excellent and would use again. Thank you very much.

Rude and ignorant people here, clothes fell down the back of the scales and I had to point it out, they threw what they didn’t want on the floor in front of me, if I had known this I wouldn’t have taken them there, not a word of English spoken between these rude people.
Very disappointed, will not take anything here again!
