If you are considering purchasing a VCR, this is the place. Recently, we decided to convert all of our VHS home videos. I first tried to save money and purchased a VCR from EBay. When it arrived it was broken. Fortunately, I did get a refund but still did not have a VCR to convert my videos. After researching, I found TekRevolt. I looked at their reviews and saw that customers were pleased with their purchase. I did not have any idea which model VCR I should purchase so I decided to email TekRevolt and ask for their recommendations. I received a reply from Justin promptly with two models he recommended. I made the purchase and the VCR was shipped and arrived quickly. It was very well packaged. It looked like new. However, my very first attempt of using it, I ran into a hiccup. I email Justin again and he responded offering to send me a return label. He convinced me that the unit was very thoroughly tested and it could be the age of my tapes creating the problem. After reading his email, I was convinced that the unit was not faulty and tried it again. This time the VCR worked properly. I am well into converting my home videos and have not had one problem with the unit. I am so glad I made the purchase and with a business that stands by their products. Justin has been great to work with and has offered to help if I have any questions with my conversion. You might pay a little more for the unit but you will not be disappointed.

This was my second refurbished DVD/VCR combo purchase from Tekrevolt. After my experience with purchasing the first combo, when this first unit "passed on" after numerous years performing perfectly for me, I immediately thought of Justin at Tekrevolt. Justin's much-needed and greatly-appreciated assistance with both purchases was so helpful. He was very patient with my crazy questions and again had the best suggestions for the product that would work best for my usage of the combo. He must have mailed the combo as soon as I said I would purchase that one because I got the combo in just 3 days. The combo was packed with great care and arrived at my home in perfect condition. It is a pleasure to recommend this company and this owner to anybody interested in purchasing this type of unit. Be certain and check out their website - you will be impressed.

I got the APEX Machine and was impressed with how they shipped ALL the original items that a new one would include. Unfortunately the machine wouldn't take any commands and sometimes wouldn't even power up. I notified customer service and they replied back that they were searching for a replacement. Then about a week later they replied back that they couldn't locate another one and they were crediting a full refund which I recently received.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered a Sony 5 disk CDPlayer. I ordered on 7/4/25 (yeah holiday and stupid me). I sent emails 7/11/25 & 7/17/25 (no response yet). I called their phone number late 7/16/25 and early 7/17/25 left voicemail each time with no response! They gladly took my money! Guess I am going to try to get further intervention to obtain product or refund! If they follow up I will add to this review.

I am editing my review to report that tonight per chat box TekRevolt reports my product is expected to be shipped tomorrow 7/18/25. Will update. Here’s hoping for progress.

Newest update: TekRevolt owner responded by email this morning 7/18/25 by email apologizing and wanting to make things right by shipping today and offering a 25% refund. My response was positive for shipping today and looking forward to tracking #. I’m unclear if I am getting a refund because my response made it clear that I wanted product and a tracking #. I did say I appreciated being offered the refund but I don’t think I was clear whether I expected it at this point. Moving along to the end of the day I received email with tracking # and notice that UPS has picked up product and shipping has begun.

Today, 7/22/25, I received Sony 5 cd player! It looks brand new! I believe it’s a 1980’s model! Put my first cd’s and so far I am very happy!

One final note the player was packaged and secured with extensive bubble wrap! So pleased with the care it took to keep the player from being damaged!

Here I am again 7/23/25! TekRevolt gave me a $48.00 refund! Changing my rating again. Went from a 1* to a 5*. Good job resolving issues TekRevolt!

I ordered a 5disk cd player, I was charged and no product, when I notified them asking when it would ship , I was given a date but it never shipped, customer service, what is that no one to answer questions or even the phone sends you somewhere else, I would never buy anything from them. very unreliable co to do business with.

Very impressed with my purchase from this store. This seller has great knowledge regarding the DVD recorder that I purchased. They were kind and courteous when responding to some questions I had about the product. Item arrived ahead of schedule, was very well packaged and works great. I couldn’t be happier.
