Great experience and recommended! We had a problem with an MCB tripping when batteries charging and a washing machine or other appliance running. Despite not already being on their maintenance plan, they contacted us with an hour, and came out next business day. Ran through the complete system and found the source (faulty wiring and weakened MCB). All resolved next day as MCB was ordered overnight. They additionally check over the rest of the battery and solar system.

Had a GivEnergy solar system fitted 3 years ago which stopped working, tried contacting GivEnergy only to find that they had gone into administration, and could offer no assistance or warranty requests, great!, got a local solar engineer familiar with GivEnergy systems to take a look, unfortunately they could not get the system back online and working as they needed information from GivEnergy (which was no longer available), and cost £165.
TEMS Solar came out and using their software managed to communicate with the inverter & get the system working and back online. We’ve signed up to their maintenance plan by monthly subscription, and this gives us maintenance cover, call out, Ai system monitoring ,their own app, annual panel cleaning & some other clever bits. These guy’s are super helpful & also easily contactable, and if you’re like me and have a GivEnergy system with no more backup, warranty or support then these people are the best out there.

I spoke to a number of installers before choosing TEMS. What set them apart was the level of engineering detail in the proposal. Rather than a high-level quote, they provided a properly considered design with panel layout across multiple roof faces, MPPT allocation, structural and wind loading calculations, and a clear explanation of how the system would be configured. It gave confidence that the design had been properly thought through, not just priced up.

My system isn’t straightforward (four roof faces, dual inverters). I made some key design choices myself, including SMA equipment and a north-facing array, and TEMS worked through the implications to ensure everything would perform as intended.

The installation was done to a high standard. One example that stood out was how they handled an issue with the roof tiles. The hidden ridges meant the initially planned rail clamps weren’t a good fit. Rather than push ahead with something suboptimal, they took the time to source a more suitable mounting solution that worked properly with the tiles. That approach summed up the job as a whole: careful and considered, not rushed.

They’re not the cheapest option, but that’s reflected in the design, communication, and installation quality. If you want a system that’s been properly thought through and installed with care, I’d recommend TEMS.

Very good service from TEMS. Several designs submitted to suit our requirements for the site. The installation is to a very high standard, cable selection and erection of equipment all very good and they went over and above in locating SolarEdge optimizers inside for easy access if a fault occurs. Very good approach to the health and safety aspects around the job and kept our H&S manager happy with the engineers present having all certificates required and the procedures adopted on site to load panels to the roof. It was a non standard install with other engineers present and third party alarm connection was also no issue to them to figure out.

Yes, the solar is brilliant. Alot of paper documents to print and look through is my only downside. Looking forward to lower bills

Excellent service received from Jeremy and Richard this week following a (very) minor fault - our issue was resolved very quickly. We've had our system in place for over six months now and have been very happy with the solar products and service.

The location of the solar panels and battery were fully explained and agreed in advance. At every stage of the installation the staff were professional, polite and courteous. The weather conditions were at times challenging, but the panels went up without any hitches. On site problem solving to the north facing panels saw the angles altered (with additional support) to achieve the maximum effect possible. There was excellent supervision, follow up, trouble shooting and commissioning. Completely satisfied with the standard of work and after sales service.

Tems have rescued my old installation from a dreadful supplier. They have explained every step and kept me fully informed at every stage. I was also really impressed that they didn't invoice me until they and me were happy that everything was working properly.
They kept everywhere clean and tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Having decided to get solar panels installed we went ahead and contacted 6 suppliers and I have to say TEMSSolar came out on top for honesty about what they could install and explained everything we could expect to achieve, having accepting their quote the work was completed very quickly, the team from start to finish were professional, tidy and courteous, I would highly recommend this company if you are looking to install a solar panel system

You can tell that the TEMS Solar engineers have decades of experience with installing complex electrical systems. They were very professional, polite and, more importantly, arrived on time and cleared up everything before they left. We were also given access to an online Customer Portal to manage all stages of the job and to access documentation and support going forwards. Cannot recommend highly enough.
