I bought an adjustable bed frame fromâŠ
Update: they let me get a reselect. I bought an adjustable bed frame from here 2 years ago and since have had nothing but problems. They have sent people out several times to fix the same issue over and over and they still are refusing to do anything else about it. Keep in mind these repairs only last 2 weeks before it is broken again. Teppermans seems to have a habit of putting a bandage on problems until their one year warranty is up and then throwing you away being disloyal. I do not recommend buying from here or any teppermans as they will screw you out of money and lots of their stuff is poorly built. Their solution for me is to spend MORE money buying a rug even though I already purchased the pads they told me would fix the issue and that I would be reimbursed for them and I never was. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!

Terrible company to deal with. once you place your order and they take you payment in full, they will never call you confirm your order. They tell you your order is available when you place it and 5 months later have no record of it or where it is. Schedule deliveries and never show up or call. Impossible to deal with

Poor customer service
Poor customer service. The recliner started fading after just three months. I was told it would take six months to get a replacement part, and then they refused to help because the account is in my wifeâs name. Very unhelpful experienceâshop elsewhere.
My sectional coach
So I Baugh a sectional coach in September 2024 with extended warranty and within a month the sticking started to come out so I reached out to them and they agreed to scheduled a date to replace the section thatâs damaged I waited months and finally they contacted me with a date but when they came they brought the wrong part of the section then they rescheduled after months of waiting again but this time they didnât show up so I called and they told me that the tm that was supposed to visit me called in sick
So again after months of wait they rescheduled but this time they came with the wrong colour they few weeks later they reached out to me letting me know that my only choice is for them to credit me back the cast of the coach and then I will choose a new one and pay the balance from my pocket
So i went to see what they have and the cheapest coach to the one that i have i would have to pay 1300$ from my pocket which I do not have so am lost to what i can do in this case

Itâs now end of August and as you can see the previous review July 11 when no one showed up to fix my couch and I was told they had the part and they would get in touch asap. Still havenât heard back. Called today. Still Being told by rude girl on the phone that they have my part and will get in touch once again. Same lie over and over. And they r not following through on their end of my warranty. This sofa was 5000 and yet needed three visits to fix whatâs falling apart. And last visit didnât even show up. I wonât ever buy from them again and I share my experience with everyone who r shopping for furniture. Shop elsewhere

Poor customer experience and damaged product.
On July 5th, I received delivery of a dresser, mirror, and nightstand for my daughter the dresser had two large deep scratches/gouges (~ 2 and 6 inches wide); that were filled in and buffed out, additionally a dent on the side. Delivery driver said heâd notify Customer Service about the damage. Also said a they said its a simple process to get the product replaced, and then he took pics.
Drivers didnât complete the claim, so I did it (had to send pics in) and followed up a few times for outcome. Typically takes 3-5 business days for claim evaluation.
I'd have to wait for the product to be picked up/delivered. So looking at ~ 3-4 weeks from now, despite waiting for 2+ weeks for the instock item to be available, I'm not holding my breath at this.

CS approved my claim and I was promised callback on 16th with timing for delivery timing. Should be by week end. Multiple follow-ups and long wait times to get update. Kudos for CS calling me back after i missed their initial call.

Received call unable to answer but message said dresser in warehouse and to callback for delivery schedule. When Teppermans was called, they said mistake and we have to wait until next week for item to be moved to our location even though it was promised for delivery this week.
After multiple calls and waiting for supervisors (phones magically disconnected by CS and Store). I went into the store and was able to get promise for refund pending them picking up the items that were delivered. Now wait until they can schedule.
Save yourself the time/hassle and go to another store. There are tons of customers who experienced the same damaged delivery items and they ended up getting a few hundred offâŠ.seems like this is their business model.

Bad service
Bought a recliner 4 months ago. After 3 months noticed it's faded already. Contacted them and was told it will take 6 months to get part to replace it. When I complained about it they would not help me because the account is not in my name. It's in my wife's name. With service like that stay away and shop somewhere else

Teppermans Ancaster - The sales rep Mina was amazing. She showed us a bunch of different dining room tables in our price range. Also took an account that we had limited of space so she showed us a very nice piece. It was a dinning room table with a bench and two chairs, which I have to say looks amazing.
The delivery was on time and the delivery men were very nice. They put the table together very quickly and placed it where I wanted it.
It nice to see a company that has a lot of good Canadian made furniture.

Teppermanâs sells a lot of crappy furniture that is NOT as advertised, their warranty is meaningless, and once they have your money it is âso long, you are on your own!!â
I purchased a Rimbey sofa and chair from them in November 2024 after testing out their display model several times. The total cost for the set was over $ 2,000. They delivered it in December and their guys were very rushed and unprofessional, even damaging my hardwood floors.
The backrests of both pieces are angled further back than their display models making them very uncomfortable (and painful) to sit on for any length of time!! I brought this to their attention shortly thereafter, in January of 2025, and one of their technicians came to my home and said there was nothing he could do to fix it and took pictures. The next day, one of their managers, Chris, called me back and said there was nothing he could do for me!! He also falsely claimed that the backrest of the display models in their store is angled further back than the products I purchased!!
On Teppermanâs website it states that their mission is:
âWhen we do it right they will come back!â
Well they have NOT done it right in this case!! Unfortunately, this latest purchase of the sofa and chair has NOT been a good experience for me!! There is clearly a manufacturer's defect in these products for them to be so different from the display models. THIS IS NOT WHAT I AGREED TO PURCHASE AND THE ONLY JUST SETTLEMENT IS FOR ME TO RECEIVE A FULL REFUND!!
Tepperman's Home Furnishings has a deplorably bad rating on Trustpilot Canada's website with a 1.9 out of 5 star rating based on 1,156 reviews!! You would think a company in business for 100 years would have good customer service figured out by now - they obviously do NOT, or simply do NOT care!!

Disappointing Quality and Zero Accountability
What started as a promising furniture purchase turned into months of frustration. Within a few months, our sofa started to show signs of wear â seams splitting, cushions sagging, and fabric creasing badly. We paid extra for a warranty, but when we reported the issue, we were met with slow responses and empty promises. Itâs been nearly two months and weâre still waiting on a simple replacement cover.
Customer service has been anything but helpful â they dodge responsibility and offer small compensations instead of real solutions. For the amount we spent, we expected far better quality and support. I wonât be shopping here again, and Iâd caution others to think twice before doing so.

Grey/Brown couch flyer
There was a couch in the flyer and I couldn't find Tori but Martha approached me she was very friendly and busy but not too busy to help me. She was very kind and professional. Then I saw Tori and she helped me find the couch in the flyer.
Unfortunately the colour didn't match the colour in the flyer. I was looking for a compact grey couch and this one was Brown.
I was able to take advantage of the sale on pillows for my mother's 80th upcoming birthday this month.
Tori helped me as always and she is very kind and sweet. I must say I gave the pillows early to my mom and she adores them they look wonderful in her place!
I also took a look at some fridges the ice maker does not work in ours.
And, there I met Matthew he was right there to help and I explained what I was looking for he was also very kind I was on crutches and he walked slow and made a few jokes and made me feel comfortable. I had a very favorable experience!

Overpriced and unsatisfactory quality
Overpriced and unsatisfactory quality. Bought 4 bedroom sets from Teppermanâs and spent close to $20,000. First metal bed frame broke after 6 months. They thankfully replaced it. Second metal bed frame broke after a year. Had to file a claim and send pictures. Did that and was told I needed to buy a new frame because it was over a year. If youâre looking for quality and reasonably priced DO NOT buy from here!

Terrible Customer Service
On October26 we purchased a sofa and loveseat from Tepperman's Furniture in St. Catharine's. We were impressed with the store, the sales staff, delivery, and professionalism. I wrote a great review. However, I noticed several wrinkles and creases on the fabric on both pieces of furniture after it was delivered. I called customer service and was told I needed to file a claim including pictures. On November 14, a technician came to the house and added some additional stuffing to one back cushion and said it was a matter of time and the wrinkles would be gone. I suggested they try steaming them out, however he said they don't offer that service. Once again, I called customer service and was told by them that since it was not a manufactures' issue there was nothing that they would do. This sofa/loveseat look cheaply made and the wrinkles stand out. After some discussion with Tepperman's they offered me $30. It is very upsetting to pay thousands of dollars to have inferior quality furniture and little satisfaction. Buyer beware of

Nice salespeople, terrible delivery
I wanted to share my experience with Teppermans. We visited the store a month ago and purchased over $10000 with of needing and living room furniture. The sales team was fantastic.
The experience soured during delivery. We paid extra for delivery and so we expect a professional delivery experience.
That's not what we got. The delivery people refused to take off they shoes. Every other furniture delivery we have ever had, the drivers take their shoes off. It's December and it's wet and they walked all throughout the house with we boots. The delivery also included set up, except for the bed frame we purchased?? Why the exception.
Overall, I would not recommend Teppermans. They have forgotten that the delivery team has to be perfect! They are what the customer remembers about the transactions.
Get it together! Next time, I'm shopping elsewhere.

Very poor customer experience
Very poor customer experience. Story keeps changing when carpet will be available from mid November to end of November to December. Was told delivery 6:30 to 8:30 pm, not delivered , running late up to 2 hours. Sitting in empty condo waiting. Poor first and last experience with Ancaster Store.
