I had a very thorough test at the Phillip Jones Optician site in Carnforth with Lee Gascoyne.
I would highly recommend anyone who feels they need a test to have an assessment here.

Fantastic service with Lee the audiologist. Very professional and thorough.

I hadn't known what to expect from my hearing assessment with Lee Gascoyne at Carnforth; perhaps some sophisticated machinery to highlight my hearing deficiencies.
To my pleasant surprise though, Lee took a much more holistic approach to audiology, researching the cause and effect of my problems and the social context of any issues. At all times he was very informative and worked without haste or preconception, and made me feel ever informed of any possibilities and outcomes. His professionalism was excellent and his manner ever friendly.
Fittingly, for a person in his profession, he was a very good listener and I highly commend that anyone hesitating about having a hearing assessment will have any fears assuaged.
Oh, and we did get to play with some fun beeping machines too
Making the appointment was easy and the reception was excellent, making the whole experience a pleasure.

I attended my hearing test appointment with much trepidation,but I was soon put at ease by the friendly and pleasant manner of Lee Gascoyne.He has great empathy and is very easy to talk to.
He suggested hearing aids which I must admit I was reluctant to try,but he explained everything simply and clearly. I have now been wearing them for 3 months and am pleased I took his advice.
I would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Lee to anyone with hearing problems.

My initial and f/up appointments with The Hearing Care Partnership have all been with Lee Gascoyne at Carnforth (based at Philip Jones Opticians) and the service has been excellent.
Lee took the time to explain everything clearly and listened to my concerns about my hearing, including tinnitus. During follow up and fitting we agreed a programme of setting up my hearing aids, giving me confidence and time to adjust.
I am delighted to be hearing clearly again - my husband is happy too as he no longer has to repeat everything!
Thank you Lee for your professional and caring approach. I have the added bonus of excellent ear care and eye care under the same roof.

I asked Lee from the Carnforth practice within Philip Jones Opticians to make a home visit to my Mum, who is an elderly lady with health issues and some memory problems. Lee attended on 3 occasions and could not have been more helpful and patient. We never felt under any pressure and found his extensive knowledge very useful and informative. I would recommend Lee to anyone considering hearing aids.
